4) Rest up

Wow and we are back with another chapter so far this 1ch a week is working out well so let's keep it going.

My vision comes back to the exact place I was standing before the match started, I look down still looking at the crown in my hand. I suddenly feel a arm around my shoulder " Wow look at that not many get a win on their first match" Jonsey smugly said "Ya and I bet not many get handed the win, why did you do that by the way?" I turn to look at him for answers "And why was there two of you and " before I could go down another rabbit hole of questions John stopped me

" Woo slow down man , first I let you win because I wanted you to experience everything in its entirety also take it as a sign of friendship but don't expect anymore and the other me well."

" Nice shooting out there " someone interrupted John before he could finish.

John and I turned around a saw a woman approaching us, she had long brown hair tied up into a ponytail she is wearing a black sleeveless top and long green pants with combat boots.

"Names Ramirez, your new right, what's your name rookie" she asks looking at me.

"His name is Silver, good to see you to Rez" Jonsey said sarcastically looking a bit annoyed being ignored. Rez turned to look at Jonsey and just turned back to look at me again "So Silver how was your first match?"

I quickly shift my eyes towards John,' oh he is now really annoyed but not angry, she must be a friend' I look at her again and reach out for a hand shake " HI there Ramirez as John has said my name is Sliver and I got to say that was kind of fun even if I was scared shitless the whole time" she grabs my hand with a firm grip and smiles

"That's good to hear fear keeps you moving and I hope Jonsey here has been showing you the ropes?"

I turn to John looking proudly at her "Of course I am Rez what do you take me for" Rez looked at John "An idiot"

John collapsed onto the ground "Ouch my feelings" he said but all muffled because his face is in the dirt.

"Actually he has been a great help, I just had a few questions" I look at Rez as Jonsey stands up and dusts himself off "Oh and what's the question?" Ramirez asked.

"Back near the end of the fight I saw two Jonseys but one had a dinosaur outfit on can you tell me why?" Ramirez punched John in the shoulder " Hey!" John yelled

"You didn't tell him about variants you idiot!" She scolded him, she sighs " Now thinking of it you did look lost when those two fought"

'Wait she was watching, oh didn't John say something about a spectators lounge'.

She looks at me " Ok so you understand how we are all from different universes some from the same like me a John over here" she point at him, I nod to confirm ' so John and her are from the same place good to know'

"Good well there are times when someone that is the same as you pops up but are different like the Dino Jonsey but no need to worry about confusing them you can tell they are different all thanks to the great mystery that is this island" she looks at the clock tower and stretches "Look it's getting late we had a long day fighting we still got tomorrow so get some sleep, oh and John" John looks at her

" Ya?"

"STOP HALF ASSING THE INFORMATION!"

"AHH ok ok I'm sorry he came out of nowhere I wasn't ready" John tries to defend himself.

"Your lucky we can't lie or I would of call bullshit on that excuse,any way good night John good night Rookie" she says turning to leave.

John and I arrived back in his apartment after greeting a few of the people that live around here some just passing by to see the new guy others come to congregate me for my first win, it felt wired it felt nice.

As we sit down I learned a few more things like the storm of death in the match and how crowns are to measure how many wins you have, he says that it's the only purpose of the crowns, good to know.

As we sit and watch a TV show that I never seen befor, later finding out the TV is somehow connected to all the different dimensions shows and movies, cool.

I turn to John remembering what Ramirez said " Umm Jonsey what did she mean when she said you can't lie?" John turned down the volume and looked at me "Well like she said this island makes it impossible to lie this is why everyone is so trusting and friendly it's again one of the Mysteries of this place, no lying, no villance to a dangerous degree and even no real evil thoughts like theft and murder and well other dark topics but anyway I'm saying it's peaceful here"

I could not believe it or could I, ever since I came here my gaurd has been down for far to long yet I'm ok with it. "Wait so no evil thoughts like at all" I look at him he stands up heading to his room " Well ya but you might find that someone's personality is a bit much like if someone always thinks they are better than anyone it might be annoying and could lead to inconveniences but ya, now go to bed round two starts tomorrow just hope you get a good teammate"

As I say goodnight I summon the crown back and look at it " So this is my life now" I place the crown on my chest and pull out my Silver chain looking at it " its not like I have anything or anyone back home" after my brother fell in battle a few years ago I just kept doing what I can to help others not have the same fait, I thought as I close my eyes and finally fall asleep.

After a shower I stood once again outside looking at the sky, I'm alone because John needed to find someone just incase it was more than duo's today, I see a few more people today huddled up in groups,

I'm guessing to ready up for teams.

The sky once again made a shimmering sound as I look up the text appeared.

Looks like I'm having a random partner, I hear growns all around me,"I guess random aren't many peoples favorite" I say as my vision once again get covered my Blue pixels.

And that is that thus one was a short chapter because I wanted to have a rest chapter before the duo's match

If you want a certain partner for this match let me now before next week.

Try to keep it in season 3 and lower to be accurate.
