Sebastian chuckled at Cj’s stringency. “Still hasn’t changed huh? If only impeachment is existing in this place, you’re not the president anymore.”
Cj scoffed arrogantly. “Try me.”
He shook his head in amusement. His eyes subconsciously went in one direction when he felt someone looking at him.
“That’s the Vanilla girl…”
Cheska flinched and turned back. She stared for too long. Again.
“You know her?”
“I saw her this morning. She’s a strange girl. She bought a vanilla shake this morning.”
“Shake? But it’s cold?”
“Yea...that's why I said she’s strange.”
And since Cj has no intention of staying at the university's entrance, he invited Sebastian to the Student Council Office.
And right after they got inside, he filled him with the information he needs to know.
“What?” he blinked repeatedly with his parted lips. “That girl is your sister?”
“I’m surprised you didn’t know about that.” Cj sat in front of him and clasped his two hands. He crossed his legs and leaned. “Everyone knows that. Should know that.”
“If that girl is indeed your sister, I’m sure your parents are being cautious. They don’t want the news of her resurrection to get leaked. I might be in Amare but I’m not at the mansion nor the headquarters.”
“Speaking of, where are you in the first place?”
“I was with my friends this whole time. Of course, I am having a vacation,” he smirked and sipped on his hot coffee. “You know I won’t be able to have that if I’m near the headquarters or the mansion.”
“Then you should have left Amare.”
“But I like there.”
Cj winced at it. Reasons. Reasons. “By the way, I replaced Sophia in Lorenzo’s position.”
His eyes widened. “She’s here?”
“I have no choice but to bring them into this.”
“Them?”
“All of my cousins are here except for my sister.”
“Woah…” he blinked twice. “So this year is going to be exciting compared to the last one huh? Nothing interesting occurred last year aside from your breakup with Lorenzo.”
Cj sighed with his eyes closed. “Speaking of him, he has successfully taken the Underground World from me.”
He almost left his seat in shock. “He defeated you?”
“They didn’t win because of their strengths. They won because we got distracted,” he explained. “They brought Cheska with them. She did something incredible that we lost our focuses.”
“Incredible? Tell me about it!”
“I’m not sure how to explain it but to make it short, Sean couldn’t walk for a couple of days.”
"That's not incredible?" he frowned. Later on, his face brightened up. “That’s spectacular!”
“Yea…” a proud smile plastered on his lips. “That’s why she’s my sister…”
“I can’t imagine how happy you are now. If I only know these amazing events, I would have been here earlier!"
"Your fault."
“I didn’t say it’s yours anyway…” he muttered and looked away. An idea came inside his mind. “I want to be in her class. Can you put me there?”
Cj stared at him but inside those stares, it’s emitting something meaningful.
“What’s with that look? I just simply want to be in her class. I am a Lee. It’s my job to protect her.”
He remained his silence. The meaningful teasing looks didn’t stop right there.
“Nevermind.” he looked away with his burning cheeks. “Put me anywhere except to her class.”
“I already put you there. The thing is, Sophia is there. Still want to be there?”
Sebastian flinched.
“I can remove you anytime. Be on my class instead.”
He gulped and later on shook his head. Surely now is not the right time to be scared because of one girl. “W—why are you making it sound like I can’t deal with Sophia? Even if you put me right beside her, I won’t shake! Not anymore!”
Cj only nodded at it, satisfied, and stood up. “Okay then. Let’s go now.”
“H—hold up. You don’t mean to put me really on her side, do you?” he asked while following Cj using his eyes. He didn’t give him any answer until he opened the door. “Cj!”
He left his seat and chased him. He clasped his hands together and started to beg.
If he can only kneel in front of him, he might have done it already. Unfortunately, they’re walking and he doubts Cj will stop just to entertain his begs.
“I don’t want to sit beside that amazon. Please…just put me in front! Somewhere else! Just not beside her!”
Cj turned his head to him with his wicked smile. “You really think I won’t do anything after you come to my university at this time?”
His jaw dropped. Unbelievable. “How could you welcome me with open arms with your smiling face when you're holding a grudge against me?!”
Cj gave no attention to him anymore until they reach the classroom. When they got there, he can still hear Sebastian’s begs but he turned deaf.
He knocked three times before opening the door. Everyone’s head turned to him. “Forgive my intrusion. I’d like to put this guy in this class. If…that is fine with you, miss?”
Loud whispers occurred after he spoke. Sebastian sighed deeply and leaned against the wall, regretting everything he had done to make Cj do this to him.
There’s no escaping from this. Cj doesn’t usually change his decisions unless its necessary.
How can he be so cruel as this? This isn’t the first time nor the second. Nor the third.
He can’t count how many times Cj became so evil to him.
Why are they friends again? How did it happen again?
“Sure, Mr. Lee! I won’t mind. That’s Sebastian, right? Looks like the whispers are right. He’s really here. I thought he has no plan anymore!”
Cj smiled at her and shot a glance at Sebastian. His eyes are telling him to go inside now.
Sebastian showed him his begging shimmering eyes. “Cj—”
“Oh, right. Before I forgot. May I request for his seat to be placed beside the Vice President? They’re both student council officers so…if by any chance they have something to talk about, they won’t disturb the whole class.”
Sebastian looked away in displease. “What a liar…”
“Sure! Who’s the Vice President again?” the teacher asked. All eyes are on one girl. “Right! It’s Sophia. I hope you don’t mind the president’s request?”
She’s not looking at her. She’s looking at Cj with pure confusion. She wants an answer.
What is he up to? Why is he placing that guy next to her?
But as expected, she got no answer. Cj’s eyes went to Sebastian, looking away from her.
She saw how he talked to him, said something to him before thanking their teacher, and walk away.
Sebastian walked slowly and cautiously to her. Sophia closed her eyes tightly and sighed deeply.
This is crazy.
