Chapter 19:Star Gazing
Astria didn't mind about the gaze that she felt and just followed sir owen and headed to where her brother was, "the couch inside is a bit rough,it should be smooth so Astria can sleep peacefully" she was far away but she heard her brothers voice while Evan was just sighing and the servant was paying attention to him
"I'll change it right away your highness" the servant bowed and hurriedly left and it saw Astria so he bowed "ah your highness" "brother is really going overboard,you don't need to change the couch,do tell the other servants to help the imperial knights" she said "t-that....yes your highness" he sigh with relief and went on his way Roland and sir evan look at Ria's direction and greeted her "why did you stop him Astria" Roland complains "princess" Evan bowed
"well there's no need to change it brother and don't bother the servants they're already busy" she nags "and Lord Evan why are you here shouldn't you be with the emperor" "his Majesty doesn't need assistance so i help his highness in choosing your carriage" he answered. "i see then I would like to borrow my brother for a while Lord Evan" "of course princess, I'll leave you two your majesties" he bowed "thank you" "what's wrong why did you came to the sun palace"Roland ask "hm i just wanted to see you,and pick up Scarlet,tonight we'll star gaze" she smiled and Roland gave a sad look
Star Gazing was Astria's favorite bonding time with her family and friends, every year whenever her parents anniversary is celebrated,she would use her wind magic to teleport all of them to the top of the Neon Mountain which is the highest mountain in the Felice Kingdom and there they spent their night watching the stars and doing stuff that were fun.This became like a tradition for like 10 years after astria master her powers and Roland was gloomy thinking that it will be their last
"alright I'll pick up Scarlet" he said and patted her head "good then let's go back to the main palace and after Scarlet arrives i need to tell her the things that she'll do since she'll be taking my place" she happily smiled and pulled her brothers shoulder and they started walking back to the main palace
Since Astria was leaving, Roland must marry to replace Astria's job, but the bride might not be Scarlet for the nobles will do anything to gain power through this marriage however Astria knew that her brother won't marry anyone unless it's her,despite the two being a frenemies they still like each other so Ria was relieved
Through the window, Lucius put another gaze outside when he sense that Ria was heading out of the training ground, Evan was inside of the living room where Lucius was resting and he saw how Lucius was gazing at the window "what's wrong with him" he mumbles and walks near to his chair and looks outside of the window as well and then he gave a frightening stare at Lucius who was leaning at the window and kept looking outside
'what a creep' he thought and Lucius suddenly stare back at him so he flinch "eek" "who gave you permission to stare at me" he coldly ask and went back to his seat while evan was trembling and kept gulping "f-forgive me your majesty" he bowed "but why are you staring at the princess and crown prince" he ask they are a bit far but they were recognizable Lucius gave a deadly glare and he shut his mouth "none of your concern,why did you came back" Lucius "as you see the princess took his majesty and I was informed that the royal family will be out tonight so" he didn't finish his words because Lucius gave a smile but a dark one
"she's really beloved isn't she but what can they do but sacrifice her in order to protect their lives, they'll be in Despair but choose to abandon her isn't it hypocrisy" his tone was cold 'well it's your fault that she's being sacrifice none of this would happen if you didn't decide to take over this kingdom because of the value that it had' evan thought and Lucius gave him another deadly glare
"was it my fault that they're weak and unable to protect their lives" as if reading what evan was thinking, Lucius answered in a serious tone and evan was scared for he knew that he was serious 'eek can he read my mind' he thought and gulp "n-no but it's also not their fault your a strong opponent after all your majesty" he said and Lucius stare at the window with his poker face "hmm" he just agreed and the room became silent
The palace were busy preparing for the Royal family was going out, the head maid anne,and her daughter Lina was the only servant that was brought,along with sir paul, and Michael.They were all wearing a long dress with sleeves and were waiting at the main hall for Ria to arrive.
Scarlet bought a small bag,it was her gift for Ria,she didn't gave it when she arrived earlier because they spent it by showing her the office that she'll work at.They wait with a burden heart and Scarlet couldn't stop worrying about Ria though she knew she'll be doing fine it was a bit worrying when she'll be around the emperor and some people with strong powers than her. The door opened and Ria who was wearing a blue dress showed up
"shall we" she walk towards them and ask with a smile on her face "let's go" the king answered and hold his wife while Scarlet lean and holds Ria's shoulder sir paul just stand besides anne while the couple,lina and Michael was holding each other. "alright let's go , swoosh" Ria gathered wind to surround them and when they were surrounded,they vanish...
They arrive at the mountain,it was dark and a bit cold so ria adjust the wind by using her magic so it was a bit warm, sir paul and Michael place some lanterns so there could be light while Anne and lina placed the Blanket and the basket filled with foods at the ground,While the king and queen along with the three were enjoying the view,in the top of the mountain,the whole kingdom can be seen with the small lights that brighten the kingdom.
Ria created a barrier so no danger will appear. "the kingdom seems Peaceful" the queen spoke while the king was hugging her back "im glad" Ria happily said "thanks to you were enjoying our days" Roland "seriously how can i enjoy my life in this kingdom without you Ria" Scarlet hugged ria's shoulder "i thought your life revolves around handsome men" she teases her and Roland gave a bitter look "that's because your always busy and now you'll leave us"she said
"don't make my sister cry Scarlet or she'll look ugly tomorrow" Roland interrupt and Scarlet gave a glare at him "shut up" she said and ria giggled "Astria you've done a great job doing your obligation as the princess and im very proud of you" her father spoke and the queen face the king to hug him,she was about to cry again so she hides her face at the king's embrace,Ria just smiled "thank you father"
Anne called them so they took a sit at the ground,sir paul sat beside anne,the couples were sitting together and the king and queen were near Ria while Roland and Scarlet were at the left side of her.Ria was staring at the view in their front and she took a breath and spoke "im glad i could protect the Kingdom,it might be sad to leave but I'll always have and hold my family in my heart and I'll never forget my kingdom" "may happiness be always at this kingdom" she smiled and raise her hands
The wind blew strong and petals of the silver bell flower that grew in the mountain scattered in the air and it flew towards the kingdom while some flowers were circling around them and it was a peaceful sight,the flowers were like dancing "ah look above there's a shooting star" Lina exclaimed and point her finger above
"woah it's pretty" Roland was astonished since shooting stars were only seen a few times,"it's really pretty do you know Astria,your name was given to you by your grandfather who loves the stars and he gave you that name because he thought he saw the stars when he saw you" her mother who was holding her tears spoke
"Grandfather really had done a good job in naming you,like how the stars are pretty and far your also the same and it's quite saddening" Roland spoke and Ria only listens
"it's not saddening brother cause like the stars that brightens the night, I'll also be the light that will guard and guide this kingdom even when im afar i will always be there to protect everyone though I can't protect it physically my magic will stay and help this kingdom until the day that it no longer needs protection"....
