WHEN THE TUTORIAL ENDS

Qwen Valas the anti social introvert, was pretty much ignored for most of his life. Mostly due to his own shut in behavior and personality. That was was usually fine by him until it wasn't and he was forced into a world he had always tried to avoid. He didn't like being around people, just as much as people ignored him. Which was everyday for 9 years. He worked meaningless a job and lived a meaningless life that he could no longer bare. "....God, I wished I used that knife on myself back then. Then I wouldn't have to deal with the headache from this crappy pre-tutorial!" The timer to the end is set and the question remains, will humanity be able to band together for the first time in known human existence to save themselves? Its is only together that humanity has a real chance at surviving until the end!

Mounting Problems 11.1

On Friday morning a man laid unconscious on his living room floor from mana depletion.

<System integration into game 'Systems end' is successful. Game elements can now be brought outside of the game from a digital reality to the actual reality. All CG Helms now have the option to integrate into the System if the user agrees to integration.>

<Blackouts will still occur. Temporary dungeons have appeared around the world. 30 days until dungeons breaks imminent if dungeons bosses are not killed. For the next 48 hours large groups of monsters will exit dungeons periodically. They will grow less in number but more in strength every 6 hours until the 48 hour timeframe is up if the dundeon boss is not killed.>

Of course, Qwen had no idea any of this was going on. He suffered from massive mana depletion and he could not wake up. Yet, time waits for no man and the world would soon turned on its head.

*******************************

The blonde twins had logged into the game that night the same as any other. They used the game to train themsleves. Just like everyone else they went through the pain and recieved the notfication. Soon they would muster up the courage to answer the notification they received.

Their aunt was staking care of them and they were being home schooled for the time being. She bought them both CG Helms so that they had something to take their minds off of what happened. The aunts was still in morning over losing a sister and brother in law, so the twins were rarely bother. Today as they were logging in the received a weird message.

<Do you want to integrate your character?>

They both thought nothing of it since this was their 20th time diving in game. Selecting yes, the helm turned off and they were back in their bodies but immediately they were assaulted with pain all over. Their bodies convulsed as though they were being electrocuted. Finally their bodies stopped but their minds didn't. They bombarded with knowledge and messages from the same system in game. Their eyes rolled into the back of their head.

It was the process of witnessing reality being altered in a mana infused being. In a non mana infused being we the result were alot more painful.

The bright side was that they can bring their stats and abilities from the game with them before they have to perform the system mandated life or death battle with a dungeon monster. The twins already had their battle so this didn't apply. Yet the system did inform them about the dungeon break and the monster that were being let loose in this world every second.

They looked at each other and purchased some weapons and basic spells before running out of their aunt's home and searched the area for dungeons, monsters, or both.

In a large luxury cabin in the middle off the woods. It was situated in the mountains on the northern part of the state of Georgia. He asked for privacy and ha been to himself for weeks. He had a CH Helm with him but he wasnt playing the game. He stared at the screen in front of his face.

He selected 'Yes' when the System had ask him to integrate himself. Now after cleaning the blood off that poured out of his head. He felts his body. His all of his level 3 stats were actually here! He even had a mana pool! Davis was excited. Firstly, he knew that Qwen knew something about all this. He had been looking for Qwen for weeks. After he tried the game he knew. Only a Systen user would have the game interface that resembles the same thing. Now, he actually had access to a shop function and it used GP from the game.

Davis was a millionaire already and had converted no small amount to have millions of GP. He had geared himself toward being a mage. He only had a few spells because of his level. Yet now he could buy as many spells and skills on his level that he wanted.

RIIIING

Davis' cellphone ringer went off. It read 'Grandpa' on the caller ID. Davis rushed to his cell and hurriedly answered.

"Davis, how are you? I called as soon as I had gotten free. I see that there are over 40 missed calls, are you okay? Do you you need me to send secret service over?"

The president had a worried tone to his voice. His grandson was his pride and joy.

Davis felt the same way about his grandpa and he instantly felt warm and safe when he heard his voice.

"Grandpa this is about what's been going on around the world. I know you know what I'm talking about."

The phone went silent for a few seconds.

"...Davis what do you me-" The president choked on his words. The last thing he expected was his favorite grandson to call to discuss top secret affairs. Davis cut off his lie.

"Stop grandpa I know what's going on. I survived a blackout."

"Wait you what?! How? Are you sure you know what you are saying. You can get in a lot of trouble for what you may say next grandson. Please be careful."

Davis' grandpa had a very angry serious tone. He knew about Davis' drug habits.

"What I am about to say next may give you a heart attack but seriously grandpa. Please sit down."

"Go on."

Davis began to relay what he found out about the System. About the monsters break in 30 days. That the monsters will get even stronger. About the notifications on teleporting to the blackout locations. He told him about the timer in his vision that was always counting down. They had less than 11 months now. He told him about the GM Helms and how they did something called System integration and he fused with his game character. He told him about the shop options.

When he tried to continue the president had to stop him.

"Grandson that's enough. I'm sending a car to you now. We need to figure out what's going on. Stay where you are."

The president hung up his phone. He turned to his assistant.

"So the reports coming out are true. I want every agency on the look out for Qwen Valas. We need him brought in immediately. We need answers. Put every asset we have available on finding him."

One after another CG Helms all over the were fusing characters and then starting blackouts only minutes after. As painful as integration was, no one died while fusing with the System. The issue was that very few people paid attention to the Systems Question on if they wanted to integrate into the System. The game had just released only days ago so who would really care about some annoying pop up when the gaming device of the century was literally at their finger tips. Most people selected 'No' thinking it was going to be terms and conditions mumbo jumbo, before diving directly into the game.

In the five days since the games official release out of the 25,000,000 units sold 7 million people had integrated into the system and fused with their gaming characters. The rest wouldn't have the chance to change their minds. The system would only provide the one chance. They could only wait on a blackout but then they would be slaughtered on the spot. A normal human was no match for a dungeon monster. The only hope for survival is a System user teleporting in and saving your life.

At the same time. Dungeons had begun to appear. Hours later monsters followed the strange dungeons. Players had begun to meet the threat in their areas. Once the first fatality happened the open war on dungeons had begun.

Out of the 7 millions system users. Some still were killed but the civilians caught in the aftermath were killed without a chance to fight back. Yet, if any survived they too were added to the system. It seemed the whole point of this was to get as many people integrated into this 'pre tutorial'. This wasn't the end. The timer still counted down, in all of the System interfaces.

For the last 24 hours, it had been seemingly hell on earth for many innocent civilians.

Qwen had finally began to wake up. His head was pounding but it began to fade. He instantly drank the full mid grade mana potion he had obtain earlier that was in his inventory. The fruity tasting blue liquid made the pain fade away completely. He was drenched in sweat and smelled bad. He stumbled upstairs and went directly into the shower.

"How much did I drink?"

His voice was hoarse and dry but the shower was helping. He went back to his kitchen and ate and drank anything he could find. His starvation stated, he went to his computer and dropped the glass of orange juice he had in his hands. His face frozen in shock and horror.

"WHAT THE F*** DID I DO!"

A female news reporter flying in a helicopter wes reporting on the scene on the ground. The camera was facing a outlet mall being destroyed by large 6 and a half foot Orc. Capturing and killing everything that had breath.

"The amount of news that has come out in the last 20 hours has been devastating. Large groups of monster have invaded towns and cities around the world. Armed civilians were opening fire but he flesh of the monsters were too strong and those brave men and women lost their lives. It is imperative that you stay away from this area. I've told been told that the military is on it's way. Police are evacuating the entire city. We just don't know how far these things have spread to the surrounding areas at this time!"

The fear could be heard in the reporter voice, but she bravely continued on reporting.

By now many of the people were running away or had gotten far enough away to be out of danger.

Qwen switched to his leather armor which equipped directly from his inventory. He summoned his staff. He used a thin layer of ice to cover his head giving him a glass like appearance from the outside. He didn't have to worry about oxygen since he literally controlled it for 200m around him. Ice completly covered his body making him look like he wore armor. Qwen channeled lighting to m increase his movement speed and damage. White wings of wind appeared on his back. With a flick he was tens of feet in the air.

His cell phone received information directly from his expensive computer station that he had put together giving him satellite imaging of the monsters on the gound.

Ka-BOOOM!

A bright blue lightening bolt disappear from view into the evening summer sky.
