Seren's POV

"This is because of Astro. Why don't you know?" Rigel asked Astro who are at the backseat. They have been arguing about that for a while now. We are looking for Stella and Yve because I came home and mom was looking for them. She said he thought they would go home with me so he cooked something.

I tried to call them but their line was busy at first and when these three arrived they still didn't answer our calls. Then I remember what Stella said, she's going to that eventand most likely he would have tagged Yvaine with her.

"Still nothing?" Eoin asked me as I took my phone down from my ear.

"Nothing. It's ringing, but she might not hear it."

"Try Yvaine again." He said.

"Okay." I responded and tried calling Yvaine again and luckily there was a ring and she finally answered.

"Where the hell are you and Stella?!" I nervously asked. They can't blame me! We have been looking for them for two hours.

"That's it, that's it. That's what I'm talking about and where did those crazy heads do." Rigel before looking outside because I looked at him to keep quiet.

"I think you need to go faster." Yvaine says I know it's Stella I'm talking to.

"Ella!" Astro shouted and grabbed my phone from me.

"Yeah, right." I said and scratched my head.

"We're going at the intelligence agency building. Bye." Stella answered and hung up on Astro.

That's because.

"That little brat-- I cannot with her. Yve and her really can't be left alone. Seren, here." Annoyed, he returned to my phone.

"Let's go there, dude." He said to Eoin who just nodded in response.

"What are they going to do there? What are those idiots thinking?" Rigel said.

"We will know when we get there."Eoin answered and sped off driving. When we got to the building, we immediately got off and Stella was just arriving and she even freaking did a drifted parallel parking that almost hit us. Great.

"Estella!" Astro shouted and easily approached Stella and opened her car door. "What are you doing?! You really don't know how to listen! You're really hard-headed."

Eoin pulled him away from Stella.

Stella came down and just stood in front of Astro while Yve also just came out and hit Rigel because he pissed her off again.

"Dude, chill. It's fine."

"What's fine in being hard-headed, bro? They didn't even think that everyone was concerned about them." Astro answered annoyed.

"Where were you? Huh? Both of you." He looked at Yve who was silent.

"Didn't Seren already told you?"

"She did, but I want to hear it from you."

"I hate repeating myself Astro, you know that."

"You don't want to, yet you don't you know how to listen to a word? And you didn't even call me. Am I not in your speed dial? Huh? You better answer me right now, Ella."

"You are, okay? I didn't contact you in my panic and I called Keiji because his number was typed because I took it the other day. Are you good now?" She answered and walked past him.

"What really happened?" I asked him and Yvaine as he approached.

"Lengthy story, Seren." Yve answered. After a while, two men on big bikes arrived. When they took off their helmets one of them was Keiji.

"Kei, dude?" That's Eoin. "Why are you here?"

"I'm with Yvaine." Keiji answered and handed Yvaine's helmet and key.

"You're what?" Rigel asked while looking at Yvaine. "No, you did not. Really, Yve? You invited him and not me?"

"Why don't you shut your mouth and maybe next time we'll include you."

"And you really plan to do it again, huh? You're fine too, aren't you?" Rigel answered and Yve just handed her his helmet to him.

"I'm Aiden Lewis, I'm a special agent." A guy in a black suit came towards us. I know him. He's friends with Evans. He looks good though.

"It's a secret but I know you won't spread the news. Am I right?" He asked and we nodded. I'm too stunned to response. He might suddenly shoot me in the head if I didn't agree.

"Okay, then, let's come inside." He said and gestured us to follow him. We followed and the people from outside and inside the building were wearing tuxedos and formally greeting Aiden.

"Don't touch that, idiot."I heard Yve whispering to Rigel. He's holding everything he sees and he might press something and we'll explode at the same time.

"I was just looking." He answered so Yve hit him.

"After you." Aiden said when we were in front of the elevator so we entered. We got inside, he pressed the 18th floor.

"You didn't say you would take us to heaven." Stella said I could have elbowed her and she just laughed.

"I just brought you there." Aiden answered with a smile because we could see his reflection in the elevator door.

"Wha--" Stella replied annoyed. "Jerk!"

"You're welcome."

"Wait a minute, what are you talking about?" Astro asked Stella.

"Nothing." She answered.

"He just brought you to heave-- wait... Don't tell me..." Rigel pointed Aiden and Stella back and forth.

"What is it, Aiden?" He even asked Aiden that you thought they had known each other for ten years the way he ask. He faced him before smiling and answering.

"It's a top secret that an agent will never tell." He said right before the elevator bell rang and he went out.

We followed him until we reached the end door after getting dizzy from our wanderings. I can't even remember how to get back to where we came from. There are many twists and turns in this building.

"You're really stupid for blowing k--" A lady wearing a white satin long sleeves paired with a draped cut skirt with slit in it was about to hit a man.

It was Elijah.

Her hand is still stuck midways because he looked at us when Aiden opened the door. When she saw us, her beautiful eyes narrowed and a smile flashed at her while leaning properly on the table behind her.

"Who are these young people?" She asked.

"What are you two doing here?" Aiden asked her back.

"I mean, I work here?" She responded before standing straight and walked towards us.

"You don't work here, Cali." Aiden replied.

"Well, it is stated here in the folder held by this ugly one," She then snatched the folder from Elijah's hands. "I work here now, and tonight is my first night." She continued and smiled faintly while handling the folder to Aiden. He then opened it and looked at the contents of the folder. He then closed it and placed it on the table behind, what's her name again? Cal?

"What are you going to do here? Make plates and then we can't talk to you properly like in college?" Elijah.

"For your information, I can be talked to. I just don't care and have time for your assholeness." She answered before facing Aiden again.

"What?" She asked after raising an eyebrow at him.

"So, what exactly are you going to do here?"

"I am in charge for taking a project from conception. For creating safe, secure, and functional work environments to support the agency's global intelligence mission."

"Then why are you here in my office?"

"Nothing." She answered with a shrug that made Aiden take a deep breath before turning his attention to Elijah. "And you?"

"Nothing. Just unwinding." He answered before placing his feet on the table.

"Put your goddamn feet down, Lij."

"Fine, fine. Getting angry right away?"

"Anyway, these young people that you're talking about are Yvai-"

"Yvaine Carson, A Criminology student and an Advance Office at Moirai Academy. Her father is a Five Star General while her mother is an Architect. Beside her is Seren Nicholson. Her father is a German Entrepreneur named Sigmund Nicholson and her mother is a professor at the most prestigious university in Germany."

"Seren is taking Linguistics and as of the moment, she knows how to speak 8 languages, including Japanese."

"You do?" Rigel asked me.

"Zip your mouth." I scolded at him and he actually did it.

"Since you haven't been quiet, you are Rigel Davis and you are taking your Computer Science course at Moirai Academy as well. Your mother is an information security analyst and your father is a professional racer."

"Next to Rigel is Astrophel Carson, older brother of Yvaine, taking broadcasting since they own the largest and most admired news network."

"Leaning his back on the wall while hands in his pockets is Takahashi Ohisama. His mother is a lawyer while his father is a politician in Japan. He is currently taking Political Science."

"Why the--"

"Also, they call him Eoin. Next is Miyazaki Keiji, Eoin's cousin. He's actually from Japan and he is here as an exchange student of Moirai."

"So why-" Elijah couldn't finish what he wanted to ask when she spoke again.

"Estella Hudson. Just plainly Sapphire's twin."

"Hey!" Stella yelled at her. As if she knows who's Sapphire.

"Fine. Estella Hudson. Daughter of a Doctor and famous Fashion Designer. Studying BPharm at Moirai Academy."

"I don't think this is your job here, Cali." Aiden said.

"I forgot. I'm also at the research group. I'm sorry, maybe I forgot to put that on my fake files."

"What? What fake?"

"Just kidding! This, you've been here for a long time but you don't know what's true or not?"

"Whatever." Aiden answered before telling us to sit down first.

"There. You know how to listen." He added calmly before adjusting his suit. "As I was saying, I let you in here not because you will be an agent, but because this is a warning from us, the agency."

"What do you mean warning?" I asked.

"This is a warning that you should not interfere in any mission that the agency will do."

"We didn't interfere. I just received an invitation for an event and I was curious so I attended it. I didn't even know about your mission." Stella replied.

She has a point.

"That is why curiosity can kill the cat."

"Correction, she's not a cat. She's a gorill--"

"Shut up, Yve." Stella cut her off so she just laughed softly.

"When you receive an invitation that you don't know from, you don't go. Most especially when the invitation itself is not for you. You're aware of that, Miss Hudson."

"Attentively. But the thing is, I asked if it was really for me and the answer that I got is 'yes'. Also, if it wasn't really for me, why is my address on it?"

"Your condo was mine. Before I moved together with Zia and Saph house, I lived there." Cali answered.

"Wait. So, the invitation is for you?" I asked again.

"Yes."

"And what does your mission and taking Yvaine have to do with the invitation Stella received?"

"Who's Stella?" Elijah asked who had been turning his swivel chair.

"It's Estella. Are you stupid?" Cali blocked him.

"Oh yeah? That's amazing." He answered before turning around again.

"What's amazing with that, you fool? Stop spinning, I'm getting dizzy with you, I'm going to stomp on you."

Aiden sighed as he rested his elbow on the table while massaging his temple.

"So what is it?" I asked again because I was intrigued.

"Those who took her mistook Yvaine for Cali."

"Why would they be mistaken?" Yves asked.

"Because their only hint is written on the invitation and it is the color choice of Cali.They don't know what he looks like so they just based it on that. You're wearing white Yvaine so they thought you were her. In that invitation, they only gave Cali an option because they know what she will choose."

"Well, with those kind of events dark colors are plain and boring, that's why I choose white."

"Exactly the point. That's why you were mistaken."

"What's the deal then?" Eoin asked. "Why do they want to take Cali?"

"The intelligence service can only give you the basic and obvious information. No more than that. That is why you're only here to be warned. No spilling of information form what happened earlier to what you've learned. We will be watching you."

"Isn't that unfair?" Keiji asked.

"What's unfair?"

"That you will be watching us. We haven't done anything wrong yet we won't be able to move freely and comfortably because someone's watching us."

"Of course not. In fact, we're doing you a favor. Since they know Estella and Yvaine's appearance, it is not unlikely that they will look for you. It's for your safety and the agency's security."

"So we can go home now?" Yvaine asked.

"Why are you in a hurry?" Rigel replied.

"You can stay if you want." Yve answered before standing up. "So, can we go now?"

"Yes. Elijah will lead you the way."

"Because you're going home anyway, because you don't contribute anything here if it's not a headache." Cali answered.

"Aiden bro, come on." It turned to Aiden, asking for help.

"She's actually right, dude. Go home. Bye." Aiden replied while pushing Elijah out.

"Dude... Hey? The hell? I'll be back tomorrow huh?!" He screamed because Aiden's door had crashed on him.

"Naughty." He whispered before facing us and smiling.

"Let's go." He said and started walking.

"What are you even doing here?" Stella asked him as we walked.

"On a daily basis, nothing. But today, I received a call saying that there were students from Moirai Academy who were almost kidnapped. Oh, of course I'm here to help."

"How can you help, you're not there at the hotel." Rigel replied.

"Yes, because I'm here."

"So how does that a help?"

"The important thing is, I went to see you. Isn't that a moral support?"

"Moral support your ass. All you did was spun around in the chair."

"You know if you're jealous you should have done it too."

"Then I got dizzy?"

"That's up to you. What's your name again? Night gel?"

"What night gel are you talking about? I think you're stupid."

"Hey, excuse me. I'm the CEO of the school you are attending."

"What does that have to do with you being stupid, just in case?"

I just scratched my head at the argument between the two of them. Eoin just shook his head before getting into the car.

Don't they seem to look at their own reflection? They never stopped. Starting from the 18th floor of this building, they were arguing until we got down.

Yvaine's exhaust sound made them stop. She drove away and left us. Keiji is said to be going with us and Astro is with Stella. They say it's dangerous.

"Bye then." Elijah before walking to his car.

"Okay, bye. See you never." Rigel replied before entering the car.

They actually got to say goodbye to each other, huh?

I got tired of their flattery. I will really clean my ears when I get home.
