Just as I finished packing my stuff, Alessander walked inside, his face hard to read.
"I've discussed everything with grandfather, you've been granted permission to leave. Temporarily." He announced.
"Thank you." I said setting the travel box on the ground. After I told him I was heading to New York for some urgent business, Alessander surprised me by how well he took it.
Especially after the fight we had. Well he didn't talk to me more than necessary so I could tell that he resented me for leaving.
"Please take care of Jasmine, she doesn't want to leave and I can understand why. But please keep an eye on her-"
Alessander cut me off by wrapping his arms around me, "I would've left with you if I could, but you know the rules."
A wave of relief washed over me. I hugged him back, "Don't worry, I'll be back as soon as I can."
