Chapter 49: Mission Accomplished!

Chen Cang was suturing when a young nurse walked in.

"Doctor Chen, hello, I'm Li Jia from the general surgery department, here to assist you," said the young nurse, who appeared to be only about twenty-five or twenty-six years old.

Chen Cang, without turning his head, nodded, "Alright, thanks for the effort."

His gaze, however, did not leave the patient.

Five minutes later, Chen Cang finished bandaging and said to Li Jia, "Please call the next patient for me, thanks."

Li Jia nodded and pressed the call button, "Is there anything else I can do?"

Chen Cang replied, "Just handle the calling, and also... throw out this trash."

On hearing this, Li Jia couldn't help but be startled, yet she nodded, "Okay."

By this time, a whole trash bin had filled up with used suture kits. Li Jia got up to take out the trash and, upon returning, found Chen Cang had already finished with another patient: "Call the next one!"
