Skyler's POV
"Are you okay, son?" My father asked when he found me in the living room spacing out.
"I don't know, Dad," I replied.
"Are you afraid about going to Vazilia Grande? We have a beautiful house in the city, and you used to enjoy your vacation there." He said, and I shook my head.
"No, I am not afraid about college; I am excited about it, but leaving Selena behind was the hardest part," I responded, and he smiled as he tapped my shoulder.
"You must be so in love with her that you feel like giving up your greatest dream for a girl, but I don't think you will be happy if you chose to stay and study college here in Santa Clara. I would happily hand over the company the moment you graduate, Skyler." He said, and my face fell.
"Dad, please, don't make this harder for me; I am already having a hard time," I replied, and his face softened.
