As the two argued, there were sudden lights. Then the sound of a car braking was heard in the dark.
Shirley opened the driver's seat door and walked down coldly, looking at the two clearly illuminated by the beam of light.
"What are you two doing?"
She asked in a god-like tone.
Both Antwan and Alina froze.
"Great, Shirley, you finally show up!"
The man's tensed face relaxed at once, and tears welled up in his eyes with excitement. "Do you know you almost scared me to death? I almost jumped down to look for you..."
Shirley frowned slightly and said with a confused expression, "Why would you jump down to find me?"
After leaving the Stewart's house, she planned to go straight back to Crimson Pawnshop, but she was still worried about Alina, so she came back and was ready to let her go and talk to her about Braden.
