You Little Wench

"I'm fine, but I think someone's following us"

Li Hao let out a sigh as he ran his free hand through his hair, " Thank god you feel it too, I thought I was imagining things"

"You knew?", She hadn't expected him to have noticed their stalker, how had he behaved so unaffected the whole time?,

"Yeah, that's why I asked where your friend was back at the hospital"

"But it couldn't be her, they watched me having a conversation with her"

"Should we leave now then?",

"It's probably the safest option, but they're only following us for now. I was alone for a while at the hospital, if they'd wanted to do something they would've done it then. Plus if we leave now, they'll put two and two together and realize we're unto them.

"So we play it cool and pretend we know nothing"

"Yes, and hope the security cameras pick them up as well"

Li Hao let out another sigh, couldn't he just have a normal no-stalker week for once?, "So where do we go next ?", he asked,

"To get some chamomile tea for your parents and to get me a dress"

Liling walked around checking out dresses, this time she was alone with Little Bun sleeping on her shoulder as Li Hao had gone to get them bottles of water from the food court,

She caught sight of a long green dress and went to take a closer look, It was a green Privé twist front lantern sleeve dress in her size,

A shop assistant approached Liling seeing as her hands were occupied and offered to package up the dress for her if she was certain she wanted it, to this Liling gave a polite smile and nod, and the shop assistant reached out to grab the dress,

Just then a tall woman with red hair approached them, Liling could immediately feel the haughty air she exuded as she stopped right next to her, the woman felt vaguely familiar but she couldn't pinpoint where she had seen her before,

"I want that dress packaged up for me", she said pointing in the direction of the dress Liling had just decided to buy,

"I'm sorry ma'am but, she's already getting the dress. I could show you several other dresses similar to this once I'm done here instead", The assistant's polite smile and small bow were normally enough to deter rude customers, but this time it only served to make the woman more arrogant,

"Do this woman and I look of the same calibre to you?, I advise you give me the dress if you wish to keep your job"

With another bow, the assistant apologized again, "I'm sorry ma'am but that goes against the store's policy",

The woman's look turned more conceited and aggressive, "Are you really sure you want to lose your job just because of 'this' woman", She made sure emphasized the "this" in her sentence, and turned up her nose as she did,

Liling sighed, she couldn't care less about what anybody thought about her, much less the woman in front of her, but she wanted to get everything over and done with so she finally spoke up,

"Well miss, since we're giving out advice here, I advise you to stop embarrassing yourself", with her usual passive expression plastered on her face, Liling looked as cold as an iceberg which was exactly how she felt, which meant for once she was properly expressing her emotions,

The sales assistant took it as her cue to leave and get the dress packaged and left a thankful smile to Liling as she walked past,

Liling had thought it was finally over and was about to walk away when the woman reached out and grabbed her shoulder digging into it with her nails, "You little wench, just who do you think you are"
