Chapter 5

Life might have not been good, it had treated others in a more favorable way but for little Rose, she asks for no more.

She is satisfied with her position.

The seat might be too hot or most time too cold but, there's always Norah.

She has been there since the night she stepped foot into the Agrestes villa.

As far as Rose know, she believes that Norah will always be there.

Rose reported to work at the main building , she hasn't been there for few days.

She was asked to take two days off and attend to her wounds.

Her mother-in-law never approved of it but Norah had her way.

She didn't know what to expect from the Agreste.

They might be nice to her or not.

"Good morning mother" Rose greeted as she saw her mother-in-law step into the lounge.

"How are you Rose"? She asked

For the first time in months, her mother-in-law have asked about her feelings/ health.

'This is a miracle' Rose thought.

She's never heard something like that before.

It made her heart flung, she smiled softly at her mother-in-law and replied " I'm good mother "

She only smiled and walked away.

She failed to respond again but that was enough.

That was all Rose needed to confirm that her mother-in-law loves her. She loves her like a daughter.

'She loves me' became the word of the day.

She muttered the words as she serves breakfast.

She muttered the words when asked to call Mr Daniel, she kept muttering the words every moment and at every corner.

A little gesture and care would throw Rose off her feet.

She is just so innocent.

"How long are you gonna keep standing there" Daniel's words brought her back to reality.

She didn't know she'd been standing at the door for ages, lost in thoughts.

She stepped closer to the door and pressed the little button "Good morning Mr. Daniel Agreste, your family asked you come down for breakfast " she released the button and stepped back.

The little button has been placed there some time ago, that way she wouldn't have to disturb supposed husband and his privacy.

She didn't like the idea of speaking to her husband through the little button but she can't do nothing about it.

"I can read , go away" she heard him say replied.

"Okay sir" Rose turned around and left.

She didn't wanna wait any longer than she already had.

She truly did love him but she can't just force him.

She hasn't shown him how much she loves him.

She hasn't shown him just how much she cares.

She has promised to wait for him until he's ready to open his heart and love again, only then will she show him how much she does loves him.

She only prays that the time comes soon as She might run Out of Patience.

Rose went back to the table and sat with her supposed family waiting for her husband to join the family for breakfast.

They didn't have to wait for long as he joined them almost immediately in a black pants and torquise shirt.

'He looked dashing as always' Rose thought as she watched him walk down the steps. she couldn't be more right than she already is as Mrs Agreste did not fail to Compliment her son whenever she sees him.

"good morning everyone" he greeted as he pulled a Seat for himseIf.

Rose got up to serve him. The little time she've stayed with them, she'd read and mastered all there was about her husband Mr- Daniel Agreste.

She took out time to read and study him, his likes and dislikes and all there is to know.

She has promised Mrs. Nadi that she would protect , care and love Mr Daniel Agreste as her man until they found her daughter Angela.

Then she can actually leave the villa.
