If it were another time, Vergil would have opposed Cassandra’s plan to adopt Wyatt. But now that he and his wife Regina were still confined in the hospital and there would still be a lot to do in the company at the moment, they wouldn’t be able to provide care for the child. Also, they’re both already in old age and it would be rather difficult to raise a baby on behalf of his parents. When Chantal and Diana were still children, they didn’t interfere much on how Osmond and Vanessa raise them. But of course, since knowing that Chantal was the one who is the real child of both parents, they have given her more attention. Only half of the attention was given to Diana.
