Take Away

Louie stopped typing as he saw the time by the wall. He sighed, double checked his phone for any messages, and called out to his team, "I better dismiss myself early. Do the job until 6 pm, then you're allowed to take a rest for the weekend."

All of them looked up, exchanging glances of surprise, and Louie tilted the corners of his lips. Louie ignored them for the time being and slipped on his thick coat. He adjusted the hood around his neck and grabbed his things.

Louie saluted to them, confiding, "I need to go. See you on Monday."

He walked past ahead of them as they expressed their gratitude. Louie checked his wristwatch as he came out of the door. The hallway seemed busier than usual. Louie bowed his head down slightly. He received greetings all around.
