When I said I wanted a girl friend I meant human

(1st POV)

"Hey Vick" yelled my best friend since middle school. " Oh wassup James" Vick said turning towards him "There's gonna be a New Year/high school reunion tonight you comin'?"

"I dunno I'm not really into the whole partying thing," I said, giving him a questionable glance. "Yeah but dude, you're a few days from being 21, and the only parties you've been to are school, box tops, pizza parties," James said.

"Woah man low blow, but I'm not going"

(5 hours later)

'I'm not, supposed to be here'. Vick couldn't understand know how James had gotten him here. First, they were leaving work, and all of a sudden they were driving towards the party. Vick walked up beside my friend James and asked him "How long till the countdown starts?"

"It should be soon but what's your New Year's revolution?" James asked me. " I dunno, maybe to get a girlfriend." 'Why did I tell him that?' He started smiling at me but before he could say something I said "Oh look the countdown started"

We looked towards the time to see exactly 10 seconds left. Everyone there started counting down.

(La narrator)

"10" unnoticed by everyone the stars started to go dark.

"9" continents started to break from underneath.

"8" a second moon appeared.

"7" animals started to run deep into forests and rivers to try and escape. As if it would work

"6" a tidal wave surged towards the coast of the world.

"5" plants started to turn brown.

"4" a ball of light hovered over the world

"3" The light collapsed on itself, sending a wave of white over the world.

"2" everything went dark.

There was no one…. Literally and figuratively speaking.

(Vick POV)

Vick woke up with a pounding headache. He opened his eyes only to shut them immediately after. "Did I fall asleep with the lights on?" Vick used my hand to cover his eyes while sitting up.

After Vick felt his eyes had adjusted He moved his hand from his face to see that he was in a… field?

VIck stood up looking around to see all around me there was grass and flowers, no trees in sight. "What the hell happened?" 'There is almost no possible way someone dragged me here while I was sleeping.'

Vick was still looking around when he heard a rustle near his foot. Vick looked down to see a light orange book. He picked it up and went to open it. After grabbing the book a thin thread unable to be seen latched on to him.

Vick opened it up and read the first page. -Earth imploded due to unforeseen circumstances, this book is to be used to help you write any discoveries or uses for items with, but not limited to magic, plants, animals, and mythical beast-

"Well, shiii-"

"gurgue"

"What was that?" Vick turned around to see a little blue blob similar to slime, complete with a slimy trail behind it. Vick tried to touch the blob but his hand fell right through it into the center, where a pebble rested. As soon as he touched the slime fell apart.

"Man that feels weird" Vick took my hand out to see it covered in slime. "Gross" Vick wiped his hand off on the surrounding dirt to clean it off. 'Well, where am I supposed to go?'

Vick chose a random direction and started walking. Until he realized he was almost completely naked with only a cloth to cover his millimeter defeater. 'Why aren't there any plants here?'

Vick looked to see if there was anything I could use and saw a sign. It read (btw this is a tutorial, kill the slimes to leave) 'How did I not see this before?'

I walked back to the slime before giving it a swift kick. It unexpectedly collapsed and started turning into blue goo. A pop-up showed up beside my vision.

-defeated ??? blob-

-gained pebble-

-finished tutorial teleport in 10 minutes-

"So I have ten minutes before getting teleported"

'My planet lowkey exploded, it kinda sucked anyway.' "Well, what should I do?" 'I could probably try making clothes or at least shoes' I ripped up a lot of grass and started knitting them together.

"Over Under Over Under" after ten minutes he realized it wouldn't work. '4th grade lied to me

eventually, he put the grass in a similar shape of a shoe and then got creative. he took the slime goo left and covered the padding, making it stick so he had platforms at least. He did it one more time and combined them to make some sandals.

"That's nice but it has been at least ten minutes." Vick opened the book to see if he could find anything and saw it.

He clicked yes before his vision faded once again.
