A man appeared and with a light slap on Ben's back grunted,
" Dude this is my place "
Ben was enjoying food he was in no mood to fight so he stood and passed through the whole group and sat at another place.
Again savouring the taste of food leaving the man and group dumbfounded seeing no reaction from Suddenly a man from the group spoke up
"Looks like this one got some serious trouble; he didn't greet his seniors." The others agreed.
" Then we should teach him a lesson "
" But brute, I listened to rumors about him"
" What rumours, "
"He is someone the princess's guard treasures," one man said cautiously. They knew better than to simply use someone's name as a show of strength.
"Even if he is, why would she make him work as a servant " another countered.
" You're right."
The group together decided to teach Ben some manners and arrived near him again where he said.
" Hey, boy " one of them calls out.
Ben looked back seeing the whole group understood this...
'Why do these types of people exist everywhere? I understand now how I should have dealt with them back on Earth instead of letting them trample over me.'
Ben knows why his life back on earth was troublesome he never stood against it. And should have tackled them with a tight slap to stop them all at once.
"Don't you have other work to do?" Ben asked.
"How dare you speak to us like that!" one man yelled.
" Does someone teach you manners and how you should respect people who are bigger in age than you, We would not mind teaching you "
" Oh, Now you are going to be a teacher," Ben said in a sarcastic manner engaging the man who in the feat of anger threw a punch at Ben.
" Haha, with a punch this weak you will only be able to teach me how to make a fool out of myself " Catching the person's hand he tightens his grip making the person wriggle like a rat in a trap.
" Leave him" another man shouted
Ignoring the plea, Ben applied more force until a loud
" Crac...k" Suddenly the wrist cracked by the force.
" Ahh" the shouted and wriggled in Pain Finally Ben let him free and fell on the legs Ben
" He is an ability user, " one of the men said widening his eyes in horror making them all run in horror
How could they stay there when they were all normal and the man in front of them was an ability user?
The commotion attracted attention, Ben didn't care about that as he was again munching on the food leaving everyone stunned.
Later in the garden,
Valine approached him. "I heard you broke someone's wrist."
" I didn't break it; I was just returning the favor," Ben said nonchalantly continuing his work
"Don't cross the line. Otherwise, next time I won't be able to save you. Also, don't wander around; there's nothing in the castle for a thief like you," Valine warned.
Ben did not reply as he understood what she meant by it yesterday he was caught by a knight she would have gotten wind of it.
Saying Valine left.
Ben did have a chat today and surprisingly Princess was friendly instead of behaving as one with attitude instead of a spoiled brat.
" So, let's see Shard's location and what was in that room " Ben thought
Ben left the garden slowly avoiding trouble and more attentive than yesterday to not any loose end
He saw the same room he didn't get the yesterday and the door was closed but what more were Guards were present there Ben decided to not approach that room first and search for Shard
'According to the novel, it wasn't known what the shard was until it was stolen. It was kept with the king's sword.'
Suddenly Ben heard a voice and immediately hid himself under the table which was for show
" You know yesterday's fight occurred in servant hall "
" Oh I listened to that, it was with the one yesterday "
' Why I am getting famous ' Ben thought as he listened to the talk
As the footstep voice faded. Ben came out and continued his search
Finally arrived at the place where a metal platform along with a glass covering over a sword was kept it was large along with a gun-like weapon but Ben didn't find the thing he was looking for
In the novel the description of shards was incomplete it was never written what shape it was ben was confused
" Hey system, which one is the shard "
[ Host, there is nothing here ] Ben as he listened thought all his work was for nothing
' if it's not here then where it is '
" In the novel, it was placed here ... wait it was there the line saying the king died a day before the kidnapping of the princess which means either that thing was with the king or it is not here
' Did I arrive before even the event happened here or it has already been stolen ' Ben ran through his mind which suddenly converted into frustration because whatever the case was none of the case was in his favor. Either he has to give up on Shard and focus only on kidnapping the princess.
Ben was in a foul mood because now the future was looking bleak all purpose of arriving was shard piece and if he didn't get it then he would die later on, even if he survived after saving the princess.
Slowly grumbling in his mind Ben arrived in the hall where the door was opened and no guards were present seeing Ben decided to take a peek
" Ben slowly arrived outside the room as he moved closer he was able to feel a presence inside the room and just as he reached the entrance yesterday's energy perked up making his shoulder heavy Ben was just one leg from entering the door Somehow Ben managed to enter saw something which makes his foul mood tangled up.
" why is it here " He muttered.
