Just minutes ago, Lin Chen had singlehandedly put an end to the hurricane of attacks with a draw of his sword. Old Cat did the only logical thing to do – give up – but continued to complain and lament incessantly.
Every word that poured out of Old Cat's mouth was as good as a fly buzzing inside Lin Chen's head. He was so tempted to just kill these 'flies'. However, Purple Sabre Fairy beat Lin Chen to it by landing a barrage of attacks on Old Cat which were only intercepted by Lin Chen.
The thought of restraining Purple Sabre Fairy by knocking him unconscious did cross Lin Chen's mind but Purple Sabre Fairy suddenly froze in his movements, standing motionlessly.
A glint flashed across Old Cat's eyes for he knew that he had successfully activated his power.
Old Cat's power was known colloquially as Machine Gun Mouth.
It might seem weak and useless on the surface, but an effective utilization of this power would render the user invincible.
