Misha's POV

"I am... " the beautiful girl looked at Lara and then finally looked at me.

"Someone that should keep an eye on you", she continued.

"What? What do you mean by that?" I was quite offended and it was clear from the way I said it.

"Any person, even with a pea sized brain would understand what it meant" she said and sneered at me.

"I asked you properly so there is no need to be rude", I told her with my bitch face on.

"I am not being rude, I was just telling the truth" she smirked and started to jog with her earphones on.

'UUURRRG! Why is she so sarcastic?' I said to myself.

"Lara, who is she? Do you know her?" I asked not even looking at Lara. There was no response.

"Lara?" I asked again.

"Lara! " I called for the third time and turned my head to the tree, only to find out that the 'T tube' was already closed and disguised as a part of the tree trunk.

*sigh* 'My day was almost perfect, but because of that annoying girl, my day was ruined.' Hmmmm, but it doesn't mean that I can't change that' I thought to myself, and straightened my slouched back then started jogging. I decided to stop halfway and changed my route. I didn't want to come across that girl again so I went to the center of the town instead. I went to the market and nearest malls. I digged for the history of this town to know my next move.

What kind of person do I want to portray? Do I even need to?. Questions like that came to my mind.

I was walking down the streets, still preoccupied on answering those questions when suddenly, I bumped into someone and fell to the floor.

"Ouch! Watch where you're going jerk!" I said without looking at the person soothing my aching back.

"Oh my! I am so sorry!!!", a girl's voice was heard. My head immediately turned to see who the girl was. I was about to retaliate again but when I saw those beautiful blue orbs, the remarkable jaw line, and the overall physique of the person who is offering her hand, I couldn't move. I couldn't even say anything I just gawked at her from below. I was like a slave that met a queen. She was wearing formal clothes, with her hair fixed neatly that made her look like she's going for a job interview or something.

"Excuse me Miss? Are you okay?" she asked.

'I am better now that you're here', a sentence that immediately popped in my mind. A shade of red seemed to paint the girl's cheeks. It was like she read my mind or something. Weird.

"Oh I'm fine. Thank you for asking" I told her finally being able to grab a hold of my senses. I didn't take her hand. I stood up and patted my backside to remove dirt from my clothes. She retracted her hand and rubbed her nape awkwardly instead. I felt kind of bad for not accepting her help.

"Sorry. I didn't see you." she apologized. I saw she was still holding her phone with her other hand and it was open. I clearly saw that she was chatting with someone.

"It's okay, I didn't pay attention too, but it would've been better if you weren't looking at your phone while walking though." I said and glanced at her phone making her look at it as well.

"Oh no no no! I rarely do that. I was just really busy so I needed to use my phone" she explained. I just nodded and left the topic.

"Okay, if you say so." I told her and I flashed my most dashing smile.

"Thank you so much. I am in a tight schedule today so may I excuse myself?" she said while stepping farther from me.

'Wow! She just couldn't even say something to make up for it?', I thought to myself. I nodded and resumed my walk.

"Uhmmm. Hey!!! Wait! Miss?" the girl ran to my current location. I decided to stop and turn around to acknowledge her call.

"Yes?" I asked with my heart beating so fast. She stopped and panted when she reached me.

"Here's my number if you need anything." She told me while handling a calling card.

'Wait, she is only around my age and she already has a calling card. Is she a business woman in her early 20s and just happened to look like 17?' I thought to myself and just took the card. She tried to hide a smile but I saw it. I am quite observant so I tend to notice even the little things.

"Alright I will, thanks", I told her and kept the card inside my pocket.

"Great! See you then! Bye!" she told me and started walking to who knows where. I took the card from my pocket and read it. Her name is Kendra Knight and is the COO(Chief operating officer) of Knight Inc., a well known moving company internationally.

'Wow! She is pretty impressive!', I thought to myself. I hope I can be like her someday. I want to see her again but I felt like I am way out of her league so being friends with her may not be an option. I shrugged it off and resumed my tour of the town.

*3 hours later*

I have reached plenty of places and talked to some strangers. I asked about the history, the people living here, and other tourist sites to visit. They thought I was a traveler, so they gave me a lot of advice or tips what to do or where to go. I noticed that the old folks say one odd thing, and it is for the fact that the citizens were waiting for their "Ajeenkya".

I asked what it means and they said that it was a name given to the invincible supreme that is yet to come. It has been said that the Ajeenkya will come when the descendants of the north and south will meet. They don't know what it is or when it will happen but there are clues to it though. It was speculated that maybe it could happen after a war between the north and south, or maybe after getting any of the royals of both nations to marry. Disappointingly, the latter didn't happen. History said a war broke out between the north and south after a rumor about a prophecy spread. I thought it was not true because of course, it was just a rumor but as crazy as it may seem, it still happened and it's still ongoing.

The information made me uncomfortable a little bit but the place seemed peaceful. I shouldn't be afraid, because we are in the midst of modern times where superstition affects people less than it did years ago.

It was said that when Ajeenkya will come, there would be rapid weather changes. It will all occur in just a month. I thought it was impossible so I didn't care much. People here as well seemed to care less. Only the elders still believe that it will happen.

*phone ringing*

I picked up my phone and saw it was mom.

"Hey mom! What's up?" I answered cheerfully.

"Don't hey me! Why are you still not here?", she asked.

"Mom! Can't I at least manage my own time?" I rolled my eyes.

"-sigh- I know but I want to tell you something before I will go to work. You know I will be leaving again for a week right?" She reminded me.

"I know the fact that you will leave for work for a week, but I think you kind of missed the part on when you will actually go." I said sarcastically.

"Oh did I? I am so sorry darling. I forgot. I guess I am getting too old", she said with a fake sob.

"Stop with the pretension mom. I can imagine you wiping a non-existing tear", I scoffed and laughed thereafter.

"You know me too well. Now stay where you are because the driver will arrive in 5 minutes", she said.

"What? He doesn't even know where I am right now", I said.

"Trust me darling, he knows where you are. We have installed a tracker in your phone so just sit there and relax. He will come soon" she instructed and I sat at the bench near me.

"Mom? I know you love me but installing a tracker is way too creepy for me. Maybe you should keep it low?" I suggested.

"So you think your mother is crazy?! Well that is too much coming from you, my only daughter!" she fake sobbed.

"Again mom? Really?" I said. Annoyance clear in my voice.

"Okay! Okay! we will remove it as soon as you arrive, geeez!" she said.

I heard a car stopped near me. The driver soon opened the back seat door and I entered inside.

"Bye mom!", I ended the call and settled at the the back seat.

I arrived the house and still can't believe it is ours. Mom called me to go to her room and she gave me her oh so favorite reminders.

"NO boys, NO parties, and you are not allowed to go outside without my approval. In case I couldn't answer my phone, you can inform Trevor instead. Got it?" She asked.

"Yes mom! I know. Thank you and have a nice trip! Enjoy your work!" I shouted when she was about to go inside the car.

"Oh add 'No shouting' on that list" She said and they left. I rolled my eyes and went back to my room to take a shower.

After the shower, I got dressed and went to the balcony. I scanned the amazing view in front of me and inhaled the fresh air.

*exhaling slowly*

"So tomorrow's the day huh" I smirked moving my head from side to side.
