"You said you like me... Can we still go back? I will forgive you... I can act like nothing happened..." he tried to cheer up his voice.

"What?" Lili's voice carries a hint of incredulity.

"Go back to him and finish that drama." he said nonchalantly as if tired of repeating his words, and not minding his arrogant ways and tone.

Beam could not believe what he heard. How could Lili be with this kind of man?

Beam couldn't believe how this man treated the girl he love.

"Oh? Is that a big deal?" he spoke again in the same manner. The icy tone with hint of arrogance.

"Fuck you Jar! What do you mean is it a big deal?" Lili is on the verge of being hysterical.

"Explain what? How you moaned my name all night?" he snorted coldly and looked at her as if she's a filthy toy.

Beam couldn't believe his ears, this total asshole is worth tearing into pieces. But he don't know hot to fight. So he kept standing there pathetically.

"Damn you Jared! Damn you!" Lili mumbled incoherenty because of anger. Her face is red, her chest is heaving.

"You're an asshole." Beam said in his usual quiet tone.

"And you're stupid." Jar snorted. He couldn't resping to taht one. Yeah he knew, his foolishness escalated utterly.

Whilst in the heat of tension from the love triangle... A ring of a phone resounded to the whole room. It was Beam's phone.

He read the caller— Brother.

"Hello? Brother.. What's the matter?" he tried to sound okay. He's good at it. 'I hope he don't suspect me.' he silently wished in his head.

"I'm in front of her room. Come here or I'll drag you outside." he tensed to his brother's voice, it was unusually serious.

Did he knew what happened?

"H-Ha?" he don't have words to say.

"Come. Here. Now. " his voice sounded icy and authoritative which made him froze and feel fear deep inside.

"Give me a minute I just have to—"

Someone kicked the door and from the kitchen door, Reed stormed, almost breaking the door by force.

"Brother..." he mumbled when Reed saw the set up in the room. His eyes were ice cold, his aura were dangerous and murderous. Even he can't moved because of the pressure he's emitting.

He darted his gaze unto someone, Beam followed his eyes. His eyes were resting on the guy named Jar. But to his surprise... Jar is actually smirking. His face is full of mockery and disdain.

"Brother Reed, let me explain..." Lili tried to approach Reed but she is stopped by the same icy voice enough to freeze water.

"Don't call me Brother. Its disgusting." he answered and disappointment is all over his face.

"You can never got close to my brother again..." his tone held a hint of warning and contempt.

"Brother, its alright —"

"Shut the fuck up Beam!" he shut his mouth because of shock. He lashed out on him, for the first time. Taht made him shut up.

Reed approached Jar punched him in the face multiple times until there were bruises and blood. Jar didn't fight back.

"Beam can't punch so I'll do it for him." Reed said nonchalantly and then grabbed his brother's hands, dragging him out of the room.

The next day, the news were all over the media.

The Z International is cutting all ties with the Xu Corporation. That's quite a blow because there are lot of investment and projects collaborated by the two companies. The Z International is unaffected because it is a tyrant and can go independently. Mean while, the Xu Corporation is slowly deteriorating as one of its pillar is the Z International.

It is also all over the news. That the reason because of that is the heiress of the Xu Corporation slept with someone else before their marriage, a scandal which also added to their casualties. Many of their business partners also cutted their relationship to the company because of the scandal.

Not just that, even the video clip of the night when Lili and Jar were together, was also all over the media, serving as an impenetrable evidence and also the Helen of Troy, signaling the doom of the Xu Corporation.
