Neighbor

EARTH:

Iris has finally arrived. She couldn't sleep for the past two nights for how much she was excited to come back here.For this special occasion,she has worn her second favorite dress - 'Too shiny for earthlings' Lena her friend has said in regards of her favorite dress. A red summer floral dress that stopped a few centimetres above her knees. The straps perfectly hugged her shoulders and showing her long milky hands which she loved.

"What a beautiful sight." She beamed as she looked at the mesmerizing view of the sea from the huge window.

One good thing about coming here from Mount Olympus is that Mount Olympus takes care of everything and gives the best there is to offer. A five star hotel - a marvelous view and anything you may need is there.

"Hello?"A voice echoed from the other end of the phone. "Hello! Is this..um.. the restaurant?" "Yeah. How can I help you?"

"I would like to order pepperoni pizza and a small box of fries please. Room 507.

Iris have heard that the so called pizza is a must try when you visit Earth and this is the first thing she wanted to try.It is said that it's taste is so different than the one found in Olympus. When she came here to help Aseseus , she couldn't do anything since she was quite short on time and had a specific mission she came for.

Two consecutive knocks made Iris jump from her seat, skipping to the door. "Thank you." She took the bag from the guy ,thanking him as he left. The smell engulfed the corridor , yet she stood still.

"What a coincidence...again." She flashed the guy a smile as he smiled back. "Knowing that earth is quite big, wasn't expecting of meeting you here, Ms. 'I'm the one that got offended'." Raoul joked as he let go of his luggage coming closer.

"Not funny." She laughed stepping a bit backwards. "You laughed though." He teased putting both of his hands behind his back. "So, looks like we're neighbors for the following month."

"Yeah.That way we can help each other and you know-Wait? You're staying here for a month too?" She got a bit carried away , which she followed by cursing herself.

"I am."He simple answered, enjoying Iris's happy face he was getting. "Looks like you couldn't help but get food upon your arrival." He teased once again.

"Iv'e got a large pizza.Want to try some?" Iris invited hesitantly. Iris wasn't the shy type. She would say whatever was on her mind without hesitation, she couldn't care less about people's opinion and worked her own ways in everything. Yet, she found herself afraid of Raoul's answer. She wanted him to say yes so badly.

Raoul didn't know what to answer. He sure wanted to say yes and spend some time with Iris. At the same time , he thought that saying yes so quickly may make him seem easy, and he didn't like that.

He looked at his watch, pondering for a moment. "I may have some time on my hand. I guess I'll use it eating pizza with you."

"You talk as if you're some busy main god." She blurted as they went inside the huge hotel room. Raoul sighed semi-dramatically. "What's with the sigh this time?"

"Belittling my job almost every time we meet , Iris. Gods aren't the only busy ones in Olympus , you know?"He sighed."Tsk."He added wrinkling his nose and slowly shaking his head. "You need to learn more about a headmaster and guardian angel's work." He made it sound as a joke, but he meant it. 'If I taught her about my job a bit...that would make us spend some time together.'

"I guess I can't know about your so called 'busy job' unless you do teach me." She remarked as she sat on the sofa next to the table. Raoul was taken aback by her answer but he could swear it was definitely a hint for 'teach me what you do'.

"Does that mean..."

"Yes."
