Chapter 818: President Lee
After changing, Mina was escorted around the venue by her in-laws. She had already been introduced to most of Ian's relatives, but there were those she had not gotten to or they 'kindly' chose to wait until after she was out of her gown to have conversation. Originally, she was grateful to those people, but then she was introduced to one who almost made her angry enough to lash out. Mina recognized the woman, and she knew she was being goaded, so she held back her bite as the woman tried to embarrass her on her wedding night.
"You've done quite well for someone with an unidentifiable lineage." Mina smiled at the woman, looking up at her father-in-law for permission to speak freely. As soon as the man gave her a look of approval, she responded.
"My parents raised me well; I might even say that they did a better job with me than your parents did with you, but who am I to argue?"
