It felt to Greg that he had been sleeping for centuries but he knew that it was just an exaggeration. His mind was all fuzzy and he was in a totally dazed state, he couldn't even see anything!
It was all black even when he knew that he had his eyes open.
Slowly and gradually he started to get out of his stupor and he realized someone was calling him out. The black curtain also faded from his eyes and he came to know that he was sitting on a desk.
'When did I.....'
"Mr. Gregory!", the teacher thundered and Greg flinched out of habit.
As if on Que, everything became clearer except for his god damn headache.
And then in horror he realized he was in his classroom with every single head pointing at his direction and his eyes drifted towards his supposed teacher who was without a doubt fuming with rage.
'Why is he blushing so hard?' Greg thought, clearly still not completely out of his semi-dazed state.
"Mr.Gregory, since you know so much about history that you consider sleeping your utmost priority and not this subject, then why don't you enlighten your fellow classmates over what you know. I am sure they will be very interested in what you have to offer considering your marvelous grades."
said the teacher with mock sarcasm.
A precise Arrow piercing through the heart!
'Why you good for nothing old hag, You shitty son of a bit*h! Why the hell did you have to mention my grades?!!, You pathetic excuse of a human! You perverted loli-con!
Of course Greg was hollering in his heart, for who would dare to mock a beast in his own territory.
"No Sir, we are absolutely not interested in what Greg has to say and can I go attend a call it's important you know, or else my girlfriend will skin me alive thinking that I am cheating behind her back, even though I have told her multiple time that I will only cheat in front of her."
'Well their are still some brave souls who want to meet their maker prematurely, huh, who knew?'
Greg saw from the corner of his eyes that it was Luke, his best buddy, who had come to his rescue. He had a thoughtful expression, and he was probably thinking of what excuse should he give to his imaginary girlfriend for not picking up her phone.
The teacher looked at Luke for a moment and flashed one of his most sweetest smile. A little to sweet.
"Luke, have you been in detention for 3 hours?", the teacher asked.
Such an innocent question.
"What's a detention sir?" asked Luke.
An equally innocent answer.
"Okay, that's it!, you can leave the class Mr. Luke! I assure you no one is going to stop you from leaving for being a complete nuisance."
Greg felt his head get heavier with every passing second. The teacher had turned his attention towards Greg and was saying something but Greg couldn't make out what. Luke passed by Greg only to glance at him and he immediately stopped and asked something worriedly. Greg felt that his eyelids were getting heavier and before he could understand why Luke was worried, he felt that someone had pushed him into a deep chasm, as he lost all his consciousness, probably again.
