8 Flight and Other Things

'Is being a doctor your dream?' he asks as he arranged my head to lean on his shoulder.

'Yeah my grandfather is a chairman of the hospital I work in and I've been to hospital since I was a kid I used to accompany him he was never given the chance to be a doctor when he was young because they are poor but when he got stable he come up with the hospital, you being a photographer why settle now when your career is booming?' I looked at him at least we looked like a couple

'How about you?' he asks back maybe his reason was he was forced to

'I knew at age twenty seven I will get married already that's it I never really thought of the man is or what kind of marriage I wanted to have but I know somehow one day I will have a husband and kids' he smiled with the kids I mentioned

'Do you love kids?' I don't know when did I adjusted of him being clingy to me, our hands holding each other us being skin to skin for a long time it feels comfortable.

'Of course I love kids, I have patients who are kids and I actually had one who wanted to marry me' I showed him the picture, we talked for a long time that I don't remember who fell asleep first maybe it was me.

We took our time touring the place of Barcelona, the famous unfinished building that has been going on for years is still unfinished, Spain had the most architectural buildings for me.

At night we watched the dancing fountain it was so romantic and I can see couples on the entire place, I wasn't even shocked when Third pulled me for a kiss, the scene and the romantic feeling maybe pushed him to do that.

'Good morning' I greeted at morning I was preparing for coffee, it has been a habit of him kissing me in my cheeks and forehead every morning, I mean maybe he wished for it or maybe he dreamed of kissing her wife in the morning.

I would lie if we haven't sealed our wedding yet because we already did for the last week that we are together, maybe feelings are starting to grow or maybe it started to open things for the bith of us.

'I'm on leave sir, I am with my wife' I looked at him he looked confuse we were just hanging along our hotel room, I was too tired to go somewhere I just wanted to sleep.

'Barcelona, where exactly are you sir?' after the call he looked at me

'One of my clients wanted to meet my wife, wanna go for a drive?' I turned around and pretend to continue reading some medicine books we bought yesterday

'Please?'

And here we are, the house it had a rose garden like the house of president snow in hunger games, I love that.

'Good morning sir Alfred this is my wife' I smiled and received the hug the old man was offering

'So you're the wife his father had chosen? How did you find my grandson?' was the first question thrown at me

'I find him comfortable sir' he smiled and gave me a thumbs up

'I like you, welcome to the family' Third was proud but one woman came and said something in spanish but he mentioned abuelo which means grandfather

'Your boyfriend was afraid of me how would i approve him and this woman here gave me the answer using her true feelings, you and your cousins partners are nothing compared to her'

'Hi, Katie' we shook hands and we all went in inside their mansion

'You and your wife are you planning on babies?' we looked at each other and my husband smiled

'I hope when we get back to the Philippines we are carrying our first child gramps' I had no problem conceiving kids at early as now I wanted a baby ever since.

'Call me when you have good news' I kinda feel pressured but we both wanted a baby it's just that my work will be adjusted when that happens my grand father might full me out of night duty and even at operating room.

'Come on sleepy head we're already here' the plane just landed and we're on the airport already, we're home do we have a house? I never asks him that or we never talked about that the two weeks we've been together.

My work will resume early tomorrow and I just hope my car is at the house we are going or he might be sending me at the hospital.

'This is our house?' he nodded and gave me the address he looked shocked as well I mean it's for a big family and we are just two what the heck.

'Isn't it too big?' I asks but he lift me up before entering our house, it was fully finished, the furnitures and there are even groceries at our fridge.

'Hi ma'am sir' greeted someone

'I'm Fe and this is Nela we are your housekeepers' I smiled and looked at Third he just shrugged.

'Hi, well I am not strict but do your job and we'll be fine also the food is open for you, most of my time i am not home, I don't know about my husband' Third explained his time being home early and his rules about his clothes and stuff.

'You're up early' I was done bathing when he woke up

'My job will resume today' I was about to open the door when he stood up

'I'll drive you there' he went to the bathroom fast I will have my breakfast at the hospital since I woke up a little late.

'What time will you be off?'

'Usually nine but it defends if there is an energency' he just nodded and I was like okay? what is that?

'Have a great day' I said and give him a kiss on his cheeks before I went out, Nelson was at the entrance waving his hand on Third and Third just nodded.

'Hi newlywed good morning, that was a sweet husband' I smiled at him and kicked his feet, dang he is embarrassing me.

'What are you doing here?' He was at the emergency with some nurses

'Just get ready for operation for a kid age eight, she just had a heart attack' actually heart attack can happen whatever age you are.

'Good morning' I saw Millan laughing there and when he saw me he ran away

'Hey, what happened?'

'You left that happened' Doc Hans came and kept murmuring words I can't understand

Then I saw the doctor, my fellow being followed by older doctors, directors and other people from management.

'You're back' she is now mocking me like she own the hospital, actually no one knew here that I am the grand daughter of the chairman except for Hans.

'She pretended to be you' Hans whispered to me.
