Further Analysis on Magic

While trying to escape from the commotion that I had created, I managed to tumble into a part of the part of the park that I have never seen before. Unlike other parts of the park where they were regularly trimmed and maintained, this part of the park seemed like it was left to grow and no one interfered with its growth making this part of the park seem more wilder as compared to the normal part of the park.

Entering it, I could feel that that the mana concentration in this area was much greater than the area where I had practiced earlier. I decided to stay here for the time being to gather the mana in the surrounding so as to strengthen my body. I decided to stay here and focus on practicing magic since it was like a dream to me and I have yet to fully understand it.

Focusing my imagination, I called out "Gust!" which caused a huge gust of wind to appear and when I called out "Waterball!" a huge drop of water was launched towards a tree which just made the tree wet. However, when I called out "Sandstorm!", the same sensation occurred just as the time when I tried to use a fire affinity spell.

This made me realized that the elves body was mainly capable of using spells from the plant, wind and water though the water was slightly weaker as compared the strength of the plant and wind spells. Lastly, I had no hope with fire and earth.

Checking that I had already check some of the basic elements, I decided to check whether I could use spells that had no affinities. In the anime and manga, such spells include teleportation, telepathy and even illusion. I was quite desperate in learning the illusion spell since my cover would be blown once someone or something knocked over the cap on my head.

Looking at myself through my Iphone camera, I imagine myself with my human body with completely black hair and normal human ears. "Disguise!" Looking at my phone camera, I saw that the hair and ear were changing in appearance but when I touch my ears, I realized that they were still long and pointed. However, the spell had to be casted continuously to maintain the illusion unlike the other spells that I had casted which was only for a duration of seconds.

Maintaining the illusion drain my mana continuously and I realized that the more I tried to hide with the disguise spell, the more mana is required per second. In spite of that, I was glad the spell had work at hiding my ears and hair colour and I was glad that the spell could even trick modern technology.

However, looking at my Iphone clock, I realized that it was already 11am and it was still Monday, a school day and I should have been in school if not for my little detour into the park. Seeing the time, I gazed my head upward and a thought came into my mind.

"What excuse should I use to explain to avoid detention?"
