Celebration part 6

The two slowly looked down and saw what I can see.

Prince Diego grabbed the nearest pillow and covered his crotch with a beet red face from absolute embarrassment while John continued on without a care about the fact that he is naked in front of a young noble lady.

"What? Afraid? Your highness~?"

The prince swiftly but carefully went behind the couch so that he can hide better.

"You idiot! Unlike you I have some dignity to not let some random woman to see me naked before I get married!"

"First of all, 'some random woman'? You do know I was the one who saved you, right? Second, no need to hide anything. I have pretty much seen everything already"

Ignoring the two, I kept on continuing with my task.

It was to create a tea that will wake me up, that will wake the three of us up.

While I was preparing the tea the two were wearing their uniforms for today's event.

"My lady... I am just asking for insurance but, this tea does not contain anything that isn't supposed to be inside the human, does it?"

"Of course not"

From one tea pot, I poured tea onto three tea cups.

To show them that there was no problem with the tea, I drank all the tea on my cup and drank a quarter of each of their cups and filled it again.

"Bleh! What is this?"

"Ugh, it taste so weird"

Seeing that the two drank their share of tea, I pack my things to go.

"Where are you going?"

"Your highness, I am sure you want to talk to me more and that your head may feel a bit muddy, but I don't think we have the time right now. And if you want to repay me, simply give me a thousand gold coins and I will be happy. Let's go John"

While we go out of the room, prince Diego shouted "I will!" as a response.

"Where will we go my lady?"

"To the room near the empress' office"

"What for?"

"I can't go to the prince's coming of age ceremony wearing something like this, can I?"

I twirled around showing him the messy and crumpled dress that I was wearing.

"We still have two hours. I can still make it before then"

'Almas, you did what I told you to?

-Yes, master. The thing you have requested me is inside the room.

A few minutes later, we arrived at the room. It was a room where my dress was located so that I can wear it here in the imperial palace where the ceremony will take place.

But before entering, I returned the imperial sword to her majesty by visiting her office first.

"Wait, you will wear that? Please tell me you are joking my lady?"

"I am not. Besides, I will be using it to rake up some cash"

After wearing the dress, I wore a thin white fur coat to cover the dress.

Thanks to the tea me and John weren't sleepy at all. But knowing the brutal after effects of the tea, I really shouldn't even be celebrating.

The head maid and the head butler said simultaneously.

There were no problem with the decoration and the placing of the seats. The security is strong. And all servants know what they must do.

Time went by and nobles started to arrive. Those who entered early, which is nine-thirty had low rank while those who showed up at a later time, at nine fifty.

Every noble were wearing either white or light colored clothes as white is a color normally seen whenever there is a celebration while black is for when the people mourn the death of others. On the contrary, Loate had an opposite tradition where black or dark clothes are worn in celebratory events while white or light colored clothes are worn whenever they mourn for their close ones.

I removed the white fur coat and gave it to John.

John who received the white fur coat sighed as the attention of all were going to be shifted onto us.

A pitch black dress.

The nobles mouth opened one by one and whispered with each other. Realizing that I am someone unfamiliar, they immediately thought that I was the cocky honored guest they have been hearing about.

-Master, should I turn these humans in to gold?

'That is awesome, but no'

A middle age woman decided to talk to me. Step by step, the nobles who were watching behind were getting excited for some reason.

"Greetings. I am Mariana von Theano, the duchess of Theano. May I know your name, young lady?"

"I am Dianna Emond from the kingdom of Loate, duchess. And it is a pleasure to finally meet you"

"A pleasure you say"

"Yes. The young duke once told me how he looked up to you despite the beatings he received"

"Still, I don't think her majesty would like to see that dress. What will you do if it somehow upsets the empress?"

"There is no need to worry, your grace. I have already received the empress' approval"

More people surrounded us and stared at me with spite for hurting this joyous occasion.

"Sir John are you finish writing the names of the nobles who are whispering about me?"

"Yes my lady"

With that, I now will earn tons of gold. Ah~ It was so worth it staying up all night for this.
