Chapter 6: Cleria Belial (2)

While I was rushing through the forest. I tried to remember everything I can about Cleria Belial. From the anime to the light novel. Damnit there wasn't even a photo of her if I remember it correctly.

All I knew about her was she was a petite girl with silver hair? Kind and gentle like all the other members of the Belial clan. It was said she holds the deepest of love for family, and the utmost trust in them. someone who does anything for family.

Itsuki smiled when he remembered that. It's worth it if he can help her. More people like her are needed in this world. A world that is filled with contradiction. With churches praised for being honest and their moral integrity. Yet they do controversial stuff behind all the things they show. The devils are depicted as cruel beings yet there are devils like Cleria who actually care about things beyond just giving in to their sins.

'Haizz' all this brought was a headache to Itsuki.

It's hard to change the perspective of the world but little changes can go far. Here's hoping helping Cleria starts a change in the supernatural. And if doesn't maybe I just have to become the strongest and beat the shit up of all till they understood that change is needed.

Itsuki was brought out of his thoughts when he heard a scream.

He spotted two people were surrounded by many.

Looks like they're humans. Probably all from the church side.

Itsuki decided to hide and listen to their conversation.

Just when he got closer to the situation. He felt a rise in devil energy. Itsuki immediately hid behind the nearest tree and watch as devils swarm around the couple.

Devil (cannon folder) : " hohoho what do we have here? "

Devil (cannon folder) : "oh isn't that our lovely devil Cleria Belial? Seems like she still struggling till now and the man beside her must be Masaomi Yaegaki. Haha, two traitors. Together like a perfect couple."

Then the leader of the church group spoke...

Touji Shidou:" What are you devil doing here? This isn't a place you should be and what? Are you going to stop me from killing the couple? What they have done is against the natural order and I'm here to give out the punishment since the lord has yet to punish them for the heresy.

If you stop me. I'll show no mercy!"

The whole place was silent after hearing Touji Shidou's declaration but that didn't last long as the leader of the devils here had something to say.

Clifford bael :" hahaha Touji Shidou, you dare threaten me?!? Someone from the devil king faction? Such courage!"

The situation became tense.

Clifford bael:" but... I do agree with one thing I need Cleria dead. I Don't care for the human. You can have him but Cleria Belial must die today along with her unborn child. My master demands it's"

Hearing this Cleria Belial was slowly losing hope yet as Itsuki noticed there was still fire in her eyes. It must be the thing I've Heard. Mother's love. A mother will do anything to protect their kid. Even if it's against the whole world.

Itsuki knew it was time for him to act.

"Hina what are their power levels?"

Hina:" the devil leader is a high-level devil. Touji Shidou has the same strength as him. The others are not worth mentioning"

" Good so I only need to worry about those two."

Itsuki put on his mask. The mask was given by Hina. It's an exact replica of Ichigo's hollow mask.

But before he made his move he heard something that made him stop in his steps.

Cleria Belial looked to her masaomi and with tears in her eyes, she said.

Cleria Belial:" masaomi no matter what happens if I die. Please try to save our child. She's innocent."

Masaomi:" don't worry I'll save her."

Just when Cleria found some hope all was dashed away when she felt some pain in her chest area. There was a knife stab with holy energy leaking out and she looked up to see who was holding on to the knife she was shocked because it was none other than masaomi.

Masaomi:" shocked?!? Hahaha, you think I'll fall for you? A devil. The only reason why I was with you was so that I can have a child with devil powers. You see the church gave me a mission to kill you but you see it change when I saw an opportunity. When you propose to me. A half breed is something the church can use. And if I can provide it will help me rise up in ranks in the church."

Cleria Belial was shocked and even with the pain, she manage to get words out.

Cleria Belial:" why? So all was fake but our child? How could you! Your own blood and you want to make her in a doll for the church!?!"

Masaomi:" my blood? No, she's tainted by your devil blood. The fact she shares my blood disgusts me!"

Cleria Belial:" you beast. A monster wearing a human disguise! I hate you!"

Masaomi" hahaha! Monster eh? Well I don't care what you think about me"

He looked toward the devil

" Yo, now that's She going to die. You can leave since your mission is complete."

Clifford bael:" you sure you're not a devil? Wait even the devil doesn't treat their blood the way you plan to do. Well anyways who am I to judge? Since she's already dying with no hope of survival, I will leave. It disgusts me to stay longer than needed in this human realm.

Touji Shidou couldn't believe that all this was part of the church plan. He came here to kill masaomi and Cleria since the love between church members and the devil isn't allowed but now that he heard masaomi he didn't know what to say or how to act.

Cleria was slowly losing hope to save her child as her life force is slowly depleting.

While all this was happening. Itsuki who saw all this became extremely furious! Two tomoe appeared in his eyes and they slowly changed into three tomoe.

Everyone around panicked and they felt a dense killing intent approaching them.
