Clumsy

Mum!! " I screamed with excitement after seeing the new neighbours through the window

"Yes sweetheart" my mum answered, entering my room "what is it this time?" She asked with a little smile

"Mum, the new neighbours next to us, who are they?" I asked

"And what is it to your gossipy ears, come down for breakfast" my mum said as she brought my hair brush from the dressing table to brush my hair

"It's sooooo nice to finally have neighbours, and guess wat mum?" I continued excitedly without waiting for her to utter a word, "I saw kids that are around my age!" I smiled, my cheeks were already hurting from smiling alot buh I didn't care

"Let's go princess" my mum said not minding the rubbish I have been saying

"Mum are u listening at all" I whined as she Led me out of my room

I decided to keep quiet as we approached the dining table

"Morning Dad"I greeted as ma dad kissed me on ma forehead

"Morning sweetheart"he said sitting down and taking the pancakes to eat, he was already dressed for work as usual, he always takes me and  Jaden to school, speaking of Jaden

"Where's Jaden mum?"I asked of ma little brother as a good big sister(人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

"Uhh He left early, he said he wanted to see Ellie at the hospital first before going to school" my mum said quietly nibbling at a pancake,

I was kinda surprised but then I noticed that my mum was being quiet, she's sort of picking and nibbling her food to make up for it

"Mum, what's up"I said trying to make eye contact but she evaded it giving me a little smile

"It's nothing, am okay" she said convincingly

I nodded Slightly, taking a gaze at my dad, he was eating but seem lost in thought

I stood up, I knew there was something wrong, everyone's acting weird, Jaden never misses breakfast, breakfast was always lively buh today it was kinda boring, my dad wasn't talking about the news, ma mum wasn't saying anything either, with a closer look, she was kinda tensed now I asked about it

"Is there anything I need to know?" I asked, Silence ensued

"Mum?" I called out but she didn't even look at me

I was getting angry, I hated being kept in the dark

"Dad?" I wanted to try ma luck again but I was shocked wen I heard ma dad's stern voice " Ima sit down, u don't have to read meaning into every action, can't u jxt eat?" Ma dad yelled

I could tell ma dad was puce with anger because he called me by my name but why?

I hate being yelled or scolded, I frowned

I didn't say anything any longer, I left the dining table, picked my school bag that was lying idly on the couch and I left the house.

The bus station wasn't too far from my house, as I trod down the road I tried to get my mind off wat was going on in the house because if I didn't stop thinking, I would end up crying from overthinking it, which will certainly ruin my make up, it wasn't water resistant

As I gazed around the talk trees that guided my way a mood of melancholy descended on me, I could feel my nose getting sore, as tears streamed down  my face

I was really trying to avoid crying but then I didn't clean the tears, I was sure more would come

I finally got to the bus station, good thing I was  just in time when the school bus arrived the bus station. Feeling relieved I entered the bus and took my usual spot at the back,

Few minutes, we were already in school, I got out,  heading straight to the school building , I went straight to my locker to take tissues to clean my face  and also my glasses I forgot in my locker

Am not so sure on wat I look like it

As I walked towards the restroom, I bumped into someone, the impact knocked me me off balance, I ended up on the floor, with my books scattered around

I was really having a bad day

Before I could say I jack I was already tearing up again

I didn't even look at the person I had bumped into, I had my head down as I stood up,

Cleaning my dress I noticed it was stained,

Why did I have to wear a white skirt today of all days

"Hey" I heard a syrupy voice that made me look up quickly to see it was a really cute guy

OMG I bumped into a cute guy, are we gonna become friends like in the movies

Will he help me pick my books

I stared at him as crazy thoughts filled my head, alike scenes from movies fill my head,

He was saying something to me but I couldn't make out what he was saying

I was busy drooling with my mouth open

When I realized I was drooling, I came back to my senses, closed my partly open lips,  swallowing hard

"Am sorry, what?"

"Are you blind and deaf and has lost all feelings?" He was clearly freaking out as his words came out hurriedly

"I only understand English" I said

innocently with a small voice with my head down, his height was intimidating, I felt small just standing in front of him

It was then I felt gazes on me, l realized that we were still in hallway and majority of students were here.

When I said  I didn't understand what he said , I noticed day he face turned black

" Are you freaking out of your senses, am speaking English" he hollered as his eyes widened in disbelief

" Okay" I said slowly not wanting to get into any fight, my day was already bad without detention

I bent to pick my books and my glasses which I found out was badly cracked, this was the fifth one I was getting this month, why was I so careless, I will so get a great deal of scolding, I can't help buh want to cry

I tried to  leave when the cute but seemingly annoying guy dragged me by my collar

Why did I have to wear a shirt

"Hey" I gazed intensely at him

"Apologize or something" he said

I was infuriated, was he the king or what

"Why do I have to, you should apologize too, my glasses are cracked, how am I supposed to get through class today", I said, realizing wat I said, I began to tear up again

As I was still crying, I felt a heavy slap on my cheek, it stinged as I held it , I was shocked

I looked up, it was a very beautiful and hot girl with heavy make-up

"Erica!" The cute guy called out "why did u have to slap her" he seemed angry it was good but why

The next thing I heard was my name in the announcer thingy

I dunno wat it's called

" Ima Stevens, Erica Amber, Jahmiel Ross report to my office NOW!!"  The announcer thundered.
