[A few days later]
'Ah..'
Ren could be seen sitting on his bed while sighing.
'So that's why mom was so worried.'

(Flashback)
Ren was laying on the bed whilst looking at Kinue.
"Why are you so worried?"
Kinue froze for a while before smiling with a bit of annoyance.
"Your...grandpa will be coming with a friend of his..."
Ren looked at her in confusion before asking, "What is wrong with that?"
His mother looked outside and sighed before stroking Ren's head gently.
"Well, he wants to take you with him...to become a martial artist..."
Kinue then looked at Ren before talking softly.
"Your grandpa... he had made a bet against his 'friend' that he couldn't take back..."
Ren heard this and tilted his head a little.
"So, I have to fight against another person because of a bet..? Why?"
Kinue narrowed her eyes a little before smiling.
"You will know when you are old enough..."
He then looked at his mother and just shook his head.
'I will find out eventually..'

Ren turned his body on the bed and laid down on his back.
'Grandpa is coming today...'
'Who is the friend though?'
Ren shook his head slightly and stood up.
He then walked to the door and opened it.
DONK!
"Ouch!"
Ren touched his forehead and staggered backwards a little before looking down.
"Eh?"
Aki could be seen on the ground, clutching her whilst shaking her little feet.
Ren looked at Aki in confusion before asking her.
"Aki, why are you outside my door?"
Aki stopped moving her feet and looked at Rem with tears in her eyes.
"Mother and Aunty said that you have to come down..."
Ren stood still for a while before remembering that Aki's mother lived with them.
His mother, Kinue, had somehow convinced Aki's mother to move on.
'Is this the legendary talk-no-jutsu?'
Ren smiled slightly before picking Aki up.
"Sorry..."
Aki looked at Ren and shook her head.
"It's okay."
Ren just scratched his head awkwardly and walked downstairs.
"Let's go and see what mom wants to say..."

(Ren PoV)
I entered the living room and sat down on the couch before sipping on some juice.
RING!
'Hm?'
I turned my head towards and saw that Kinue was already near it.
'Is it grandpa?'
CLICK!
Kinue then opened the door, revealing 3 figures.
The first figure was an old man wearing a traditional yukata, with a thin overcoat.
The second figure was another old man who had
headful of white hair, though his face looked a bit younger than the first.
The last figure was very young compared to the two elderly on his side. He had light brown eyes and spiky pink hair that was styled in an undercut fashion.
'The one with the yukata is probably my Grandpa..'
I shook my head before looking at boy with pink hair.
'I feel like I have seen him before...'
The longer I stared at the boy the more familiar he seemed to me.
I was about to turn my head away but stopped when I saw him look towards me.
He then started walking towards me and smiled.
"Hello! My name is Yuji Itadori, nice to meet you!"
My eyes slowly widened when I heard his name.
'Yuji Itadori...the main character of Jujutsu Kaisen?'
(A/N: There won't be curses and cursed energy.)
'Does that mean other characters exist in this world as well?'
I then blinked a couple of times before smiling at him.
"My name is Ren. Nice to meet you too."
I then proceeded to hold my hand up for a handshake but Yuji just smile awkwardly.
"Oh...grandpa said that I'm not allowed to shake other people's hands because I might hurt them..."
I opened my mouth in 'surprise' while asking him, "Really?". Though in my head I was having completely different thoughts.
'So Yuji still has aboce average strength...that means I will have to fight him in a couple of years?'
I continued my thoughts but snapped put of it when I saw Yuji look down with a but of sadness.
"Sorry..."
I looked at him in surprise before shaking my head.
'He really is kind...'
l then remembered what happened to him in the manga, making me look at him with a hint of pity.
I shook my head once again before smiling at him.
"Wanna play?"
Yuji looked up at me in confusion before asking a question.
"What game?"
I was about to answer him but then stopped when I heard a familiar voice say, "Let's play with some balls!"
I turned my head behind me and saw Masamune running towards us while holding a pair of balls.
I sighed before telling Masamune to specify on what type of balls he is talking about as it can give other people weird ideas.
Masamune looked at me and nodded before shouting.
"Let's go and play with some big balls!"
I just looked at him before scratching my head.
'I can't be asked to say anything anymore...'
Yuji looked at both of us and started scratching his cheek awkwardly.
"If I play with you guys then...you would get injured... I think I'll just watch you guys play.", Yuji said whilst looking at the ground.
I just looked at him and smiled cheekily.
"Yeah...but that is if you can get the ball from me..."
Yuji looked at me with shock.
He stood still for a while and started to think before turning towards me.
"I bet I can get the ball off you!", Yuji said while smiling at me.
I just shook my hand and walked outside.
"We'll see."
