45. Helheim.

"So ah quick question, how do I get to helheim?" I ask mentally.

A black portal opens up in front of me showing a dark and barren land covered in ash and soot.

"RAVEN, IM GOING OUT FOR A BIT BE BACK LATER!" I shout to my bodyguard outside and step into the portal.

The air wooshes around me as I fall to the ground below, the portal snaps closed behind me.

"Man this place is a hell hole, literally." I look around the dreary lifeless place. Gives off a kind of doom and gloom vibe and feels dirty.

I block a sword strike aimed at my head with a finger. "Rude to attack someone who is just looking around." I tell the tall dark haired woman with glowing green eyes. "Sheesh you must be atleast 7 feet tall."

She swing another shadow like sword and it just stops on my neck, zero damage.

Her eyes narrow.

"Who are you?" Her voice rasps out.

Honestly she kind of looks crazy and a bit dirty covered in ash. Still under all the grime is a hot piece of ass with daddy issues.

"Ryan Grim, do you want me to attack now?" I punch her in the gut and she's blasted off kicking up dust and dirt like a cannonball.

Eventually she rolls to a stop and grips her stomach in pain before glaring up at me. I had followed her body casually.

*cough* "So has my father finally decided to kill me off?" She asks with a glare.

"Doubt it, I've never met your father so i wouldnt know. I was asked by death to come and grab you from this place." I shrug. "However I was also told it would be wise to conquer you so. Give me to best you got princess."

She perks up once I mention death, then sneers once I mention conquering her.

"You think you can conquer me, I'll be king of Asgard once I'm free and kill my father." She say standing up and launching a punch at my chest, it just blows away a bunch of ash in the area and does absolutely nothing.

"Right, and you'll conquer the realms, and rule with an iron fist, blah blah blah." I say nonchalantly.

"Do not mock me mortal!" She shouts making numerous shadow blades that bounce harmlessly off my body.

"Maybe I should go and fight death again, forbid her from being intangible and see hows she fares, I still owe her a couple more punches." I say casually before slapping the asgard princess away with a resounding crack.

Internally Death shivers.

Hela just roars and charges, I block every single one of her moves casually. "Nice form! You know I never learned any kind of combat skills, so I guess this I the perfect time for me to practice." I smile happily and try to learn some skills from Hela.

By now the asgardian princess is seething. She led armies, conquered realms with her father, destroyed millions, and this mortal she cant even put a scratch on? She refuses to believe it!

Meanwhile death is busy giving me martial arts tips in my mind to avoid a further spar in the future.

I'm improving at a very rapid rate.

"No wonder main characters love to train so much this is awesome." I smile happily.

Hela is also improving, she's been trapped on this plane for thousands of years and her combat skills have become stagnant and rusty.

I've lowered my strength and speed to match hers, this is the perfect combat simulation.

Hours and hours of just pure fighting passed.

If Hela was dangerous at the start, now she is just downright lethal, every attack was aimed to kill or maim, eyes, throat, mouth, heart, major arteries, balls, I definitely blocked those.

"I must admit for a mortal you are strong." Hela says coming to a halt.

"Yeah I've been told that, seems that's why death chose to bind herself to me eternally." I shrug as Hela freezes.

"Bind to you?" She asks confused.

"Yeah eternal bond or whatever to become my wife. I think she mostly did this so I wouldnt end up destroying her later on for pissing me off." I contemplate for a second.

Hela shivers. She had just fought against her mistresses husband and called him a mortal?

She quickly drops to a knee. "I am sorry master I did not know your identity please forgive this lowly one."

"Ah annoying, that's why I didnt tell you In the first place, how am I supposed to enjoy myself if everyone just bows down." I complain before dragging her up.

She seemed a bit confused about this.

"Also you should give up on becoming the king of asgard, that whole place gets destroyed in a couple years." I say casually.

"Destroyed?" She asks quickly.

"Ah yeah, some prophecy about Ragnarok bringing an end to asgard, prophecies are rather annoying. You try to avoid them and then something else happens and it ends up getting destroyed anyway." I explain waving my hand.

Hela seems to be stunned by this revelation.

"Anyway interested in getting out of this hell hole? It's rather dreary." I ask.

She nods and I take her hand and make a portal back to my office.

~~Meanwhile in Asgard~~

Odin is shitting bricks, his daughter had just been released from Helheim somehow. He quickly rushes out of the castle and heads for the Bifrost to speak with Heimdall.

"Heimdall quickly find my daughter and open up the Bifrost she must be sealed once more!" Odin shouts to the tall man.

"My king, I cannot." Heimdall says with a grim expression.

"Cannot? Why can you not?!?" Odin roars angrily.

Heimdall just points next to his king.

Standing there was a pale skinned beauty with bright purple eyes, and a cheeky smile, she had only what amounted to a purple bra and panties and high heels.

It was lady death, "Odin I advise you keep your nose out of my Husbands business, it's far to late for you to seal my herald and if you do attempt to do so, I'm sure Ragnarok will fall on your kingdom much faster than normal." Death says with a friendly smile.

Odin blanches, "Are you threatening me?" He asks with a frown.

"Ah no, its merely a promise of what would happen, see my husband has a kingdom he likes to call Ragnarok, and he seems to have taken a liking to little Hela, so I imagine what he would do if you try to interfere in his quite life. I assure you, you won't like the results, even I can no longer kill him. Do you believe you have the capability to do so?" Death asks before vanishing.
