Well can't expect everything to go according to plan I suppose. Man it's been a crazy fucking week. I just want to relax, but it's like one problem after another falls into my lap.
Maybe some of the problems I've caused myself but still!
I pull out my phone and start looking up building plans, god knows Xaviers place has been blown up and destroyed who knows how many times. Plus all the people who infiltrate this place? Not safe.
Surprisingly I find quite a few ideas for off the grid buildings. Which I take an interest in.
But every king needs a castle.
There was one game that I played that had a really nice castle I liked. Dragon Age Inquisitions, Skyhold.
Ran through that castle so many times in game I know the place like the back of my hand.
I can make improvements to the place. also increase the size to add more buildings in the castle walls. Improve a bit as well.
Yep that's what I want.
With a thought I was already in Ragnarok.
I'm already near the center of the kingdom. The entire kingdom is acorn shaped if you cut off the top of an acorn. The top surface is circular and gets rounded going down before ending at a rounded point on the bottom.
I could teleport to different layers, as well. The middle layer had things like magic cannons, and other weapons along with soldier quarters. The bottom layer had things like propulsion systems, water storage, food storage, etc. So the island could move around in air or water and stay afloat. However those were also damaged and would need repair.
As soon as I found the center of the kingdom my foot came down and a large ripple spread out. All around me buildings started collapsing and being reduced to even more rubble.
I waved my hand and deposited the massive meteor i had stolen from Magneto off to the side along with my RV.
With a psychic pulse all the stone remains in the area were lifted up before being reduced to a fine sand with a massive psychic crush. Foundations were ripped up leaving various square craters which I would fill up with dirt, the old broken stone roads were also torn up to be replaced.
I stored all the dust and debris in my ring before exiting the area.
However the ancient one was already standing there. "I would prefer if you didnt dump all of that in the ocean, it would cause quite a few problem. However you are welcome to deposit it in the Sahara desert." She says with a smile.
"You interested in helping?" I ask.
"Of course, free of charge this time since you've done me a rather large favor with that gem. If you could allow me entry?" She says holding out her hand.
I nod and we both vanish once more into the kingdom.
She opens up a rather large portal before opening a few more and depositing some furniture to sit on and make tea, she also brought a book.
"Just pour the debris into the large portal it will be mixed with the sand at the Sahara." She says before opening her book.
I just shrug before dumping the white sand into the portal.
Then I continue my mission, destroy, reduce, deposit dirt into holes, dump sand, making sure to keep the land flat as I go.
Little bit of high speed movement and a bit of determination and I've smashed every building, tore up the roads, flattened the land and filled up the holes in less than an hour. There was basically a waterfall of white sand pouring out of the portal while the ancient one sipped tea and read her romance novel.
Now it kind of just looked like a large dirt wasteland as far as the eye could see.
"Well I guess it's time for the castle." I look towards the center area before massive black blocks of what appears to be stone appear. However these blocks are made of pure adamantium they also have little connection pieces which click together for easy building.
The ancient one closes her book to watch curiously.
Soon a massive intimidating square fortress wall starts to take shape, stairs, doors, 4 large watchtowers at each corner, walkways around the area, a massive gate for entry at the front in a lovely gothic style design of rose's and thorns. I even add them along the outside of the castle walls for both decorative and dangerous purposes as adamantium thorns are rather nasty.
With a wave of my hand a large swathe of earth is torn from the ground around the walls to form a rather intimidating mote. Metal is also run along the inside of the mote to firm everything up and provide a water proof seal.
"Oooh a moat, nice touch." The ancient one says. "I rather miss the look of olden castles, they were so regal and awe inspiring."
"Tips?" I ask.
"Maybe a little more color, far too much black." She says waving her hand as the vines and Rose's take on various greens and reds adding a nice touch.
I make a large brige over the moat as we walk and she gives me tips as I start building on the castle, a nice large throne room for banquets, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, a massive library, where to run pipes and electricity, underground warehouses for wines and storage.
Outside next to the castle is a beautiful large greenhouse the ancient one helped me with, along with a fancy courtyard.
Overall the entire place ended up looking between a beautiful mansion and a large castle and gave off a sense of awe. Various little designs and artwork were carved into the walls and floors along with sculptures and large dragon looking gargoyles. The inside didn't look gloomy as it was a nice marble white color that looked marvelous mixed with grays and blacks, apparently too much black is gaudy and makes the area look gloomy.
