14. Mansion.

The girls returned fully clothed, Laura or X23 was awake and looking at me curiously.

I wonder what the ancient one told her.

However I had other things on my mind at the moment.

"Do you have any magic artifacts to help prevent accidents for Wanda?" I ask the bald ancient.

She thinks for a second before pulling out a ruby amulet from nowhere.

"Most of the ambient magic should be absorbed into this for the time being. It will prevent small accidents such as bad luck." She says before handing it to me.

I look it over, it's just a red ruby amulet on a black chain, kind of looks like a rose. There are various small runes around the setting and over the chain.

"Wanda come here please." I ask politely.

She nods and moves closer where I unclasp the necklace and put it around her neck.

"It will make it a bit harder to control her magic, she will have to focus it if she wants to use her abilities. It's not a long term solution though." The ancient one says.

"Yeah nothing can replace proper training." I nod.

She also passes me a large sandalwood box filled with incense and a burner. "These should help with meditation and calming, feel free to teach the others meditation as it will help them aswell."

"Much appreciated. Do you think we could get a lift back to the mansion. I kind of ran here." I admit.

"Of course! Feel free to return if you have any questions or just wish to sit for some tea." She says with a smile.

A large portal opens showing my room which the three of us step through and enter before the portal closes.

I can still smell the burnt carpet and curtain.

"Sorry for the mess, I had a small temper tantrum earlier and set my room on fire." I chuckle before setting the books on my dresser along with the incense.

"Please sit and ask questions." I point towards me bed.

Both girls do as told Laura is looking around curiously.

"Where are we?" Wanda asks.

"Xavier mansion. You probably know Charles Xavier?" I ask.

She nods. "He was my counselor. He tried to help me control my powers."

" He is a good man for the most part, however he went about it thinking you were a mutant, you aren't atleast I dont think so. You are a witch, you use magic, like spells and hexes." I grab one of the books of the dresses and quickly read through it before passing it over to her.

"Basics on magic, you'll also need to start learning meditation." I suggest.

"Are you also a witch?" She asks curiously.

I just chuckle. "No a boy would be called a wizard or a sorcerer or warlock. However I am not any of those, I can be though."

She sits and thinks about what I said.

"Who am i?" Laura suddenly asks.

"Your name is Laura, you are a mutant or meta human." I'm a bit confused about what I'm supposed to do with her. Logan is more beast than proper father material. I also don't know what her mentality is like, it would have been great if the ancient one gave me more information.

Maybe Storm could help? Give her a couple of tests to see where her intelligence is and go from there.

"Big brother is supposed to take care of me." She asks calmly.

So that's what the ancient one told her.

"Yes, I'll take care of you. For now we should get your rooms sorted and talk to the professor. I also need to go and get you clothes. So just wait here a moment." I tell them.

I open my door and head out into the mansion.

It doesnt take long to find the professor in his office.

"Ah Ryan come in. Is there something I can help you with?" The professor asks with a smile.

"I have two new house guests, one of them you should know. Wanda Maximoff." I tell him as his eyebrows shoot up.

"May I ask what she is doing here instead of the asylum?" He asks calmly.

"Would you believe me if I told you a thousand year old sorcerer is making me teach her basic magic? Apparently she isn't a mutant she is a magic user and uses chaos energy." I explain.

"Chaos? I see. That explains quite a bit why i had no effect on helping her control her powers." He admits. "And for the other one?"

"Her name is Laura or X23, basically a clone of Logan who was picked up from a lab. She had to have some things wiped from her mind like trauma and some brainwashing to turn her into a weapon." I explain. "I would like Storm to give her some basic education tests to see where she is at."

Charles is shocked by this news as well. But for some reason his mind seems more clear than ever.

"Ofcourse, and I take it they need rooms?" He asks.

"Yes."

"They can pick any room they like. I'll also ask Storm to come up with some tests for Laura. Is there anything else?"

"Nope that about covers it. The sorcerer i talked to suggested everyone learning meditation though." I tell him.

"Well thank you for telling me. As for meditation that's fine, I believe storm could help." He says with a smile.

"Great, however I need to go and buy them some clothes and other items." I say standing up.

"Do you need any money?" He asks.

"Nah it's fine." I wave him off.

I head back to my room and pick up the two newcomers. "Alright girls let's go shopping." I smile at them before heading to my car with them following behind.

We quickly drive towards the mall. Best place to get everything I need. I'll pick them up some phones as well. I doubt I'll be able to spend all my time with them as I also have school.

Wanda will more than likely head to school soon as for Laura I've got no idea.
