Chapter 2 - The Invasion

Aaaaah" we all started screaming , then I remembered the garlic

"Grab a piece of your garlic and point it at her"

I hoped it will work but to my surprise it worked. We started moving towards the door slowly, when we reached the door I took the key with me after unlocking it and went outside, so did my friends then I quickly turned and locked the door from outside, I looked back at the door " I'll miss you mum" then they all looked at me" let's run" they were surprised at first then later started running and so did I

We kept running for some distance and we later got tired and stopped. Shortly after, vampires suddenly appeared and gradually coming towards us

"Not again" Maddie exclaimed with exhausted

We all stood back to back and faced the vampires who encircled us and they were gradually getting closer, then we started throwing pieces of garlic at them, they left but the garlic would soon finish.

"Why didn't we see them before?" Belle asked

"Because I don't really have neighbours" I replied

" We need to find a place to stay" Maya said

"And I am getting hungry" Maddie said

"That's right we have not yet eaten breakfast" Maya said

They all stared at me and Immediately I knew what they were thinking

" Are you girls thinking of goingl to my dad's military base..." I paused to see their reactions

"Of course" Maddie answered

I sighed"  I would take you to my dad's military base I wonder why I didn't think of it earlier"

My dad had a military base which was for emergency situations only. It has lots of food and drinks just in case, and also a place to sleep and bath, it's like a hideout but for the military, before my dad got missing he told me where he had hid the key, so I guess right now that's the only place we have left to go
