Practical Skills Exam.

After the presentation of Present Mic, we were instructed to change our outfit in the provided room.

I was wearing workout leggings with shorts on top, and a tank top shirt with a gray hoodie. After changing, I drank a little bit of water before going to the designated meeting area.

I then headed out. It seems that I was assigned to the City-E district, I wonder if I'll get to meet another main character.

After I arrived at the designated meeting area, I started to look around as I tried to see anyone I'm familiar with.

"Woah.. this place is huge!"

"Yeah, I know right~? This is so exciting!"

"Ooh..! This is getting me fired up!"

"Tsk..."

That being said, I already saw 4 people that I am familiar with. One was a girl with pink hair and small horns, one was an invisible girl, one had yellow hair, and one was an explosive boi.

I stared at them. 'Fuckin hell.. he's here too?' I thought inwardly.

Alrighty, a person you should definitely not interact with— found.

Well, now that I know he's here, I should be hoarding all the points as much as I can. Because If I don't, the bastard would definitely hoard it all by himself.

Then, someone shouted. "Oi! you bastard! You've been staring at us for quite a long time now huh!? You've got a problem!?"

I looked to see who it was. It was the explosive boi. Remember that in this case, you should be fighting fire with fire.

"Ha?! Bitch I can't hear you!" I shouted back.

The area was then filled with curiosity as they glanced to look at what was happening.

"Eh..? A fight?"

"What are those two doing?"

"Who knows, they seem to know each other."

"Well, now we have two less competition!"

Thankfully, someone was sane enough. "O-oi you two! Relax! This could get you disqualified you know?" someone said.

Then suddenly, we heard an announcement. "[Aanndd STARTTT!!]" Present Mic said.

'!!!' I was surprised. 'Alright, time to go!"

Immediately, I ran off without waiting for others. But then, I heard several explosions from behind.

It was Bakugo. "Wait you bastard!" he shouted.

I looked behind. "Geh..! Go away!"

I then leaped from one place to another, getting away from him as I got higher. I landed on a building and then jumped hard, trying to see where the villains were.

In the corner, I saw three robots moving. 'There..!'

I then rushed towards the robots the moment I landed.

*Bam!* *Bam!*

I punched the two pointers on the right with my left arm, while I punched the one pointer on the left side with my right arm. In less than five seconds, I managed to get three points already.

I was about to kick the three points villain behind the two robots. Only for it to get destroyed by an explosion.

Bakugo appeared from the smoke. "DON'T THINK YOU WOULD GET HIGHER SCORE THAN ME!!"

'Shit..! Damn Bakugo, he stole my point!' I winced.

I then pretended that I saw something. "Woah! A two three point villain!" I said as I pointed something behind him.

Bakugo turned around. "WHAT!?" only to find that nothing was there.

He looked back at me. "YOU BAST—" but unfortunately, I was already running far from him.

"GYAHAHAHA!! SEE YA SUCKER!!" I shouted as I looked behind.

"YOUU!!!" he exploded in anger.

I then leaped into the sky as I searched for other more villains. Sorry but, there are a limited number of points that we could get.

Gotta catch 'em all! P*kemon!—

- 3rd Person POV -

Inside a dimly lit room, you could see several people sitting on a chair while watching the examinees through many monitors.

One was wearing a yellow formal suit, one was wearing a cowboy hat, one was wearing red eyeglasses, one was an animal with a scar on his right side of his eye, one had a noticeable canine, and one had a rectangular face shape.

They were the U.A High School faculty staff.

Principal Nezu spoke. "It seems that we were really lucky this time, don't you think so? A lot of examinees here showcased a great amount of potential."

"Yes, it does seem so! Ahh... I can't wait to see who would pass..!" Midnight said.

'...' 11x.

"Erm.. yeah..." 11x.

Amidst all of them, a certain masculine hero looked very surprised as he was looking at the monitors.

'Young man.. Staz.!?' he thought, looking at the monitors.

For him, it was very obvious who was one of the examinees. His red eyes, and pale skin looked very familiar to the one that helped him before.

It has been several years since THAT incident. And for all of those years, he has not seen him even once.

Frankly speaking, he does not have the time nor the capacity to look for him. Ever since All For One has been defeated, many villains took up the opportunity to spread further terror.

And as the Symbol Of Peace, he felt that he must definitely defeat them, even if he himself, is not in a great shape. He kept on defeating villains and throughout the years, he had felt that he was getting slower and slower compared to his peak because of his injury.

In addition to that, he was even losing the ability to stay in muscular form over time. He was overworking himself.

All Might smiled. 'So you are here..!' he thought.

'That's right... Even when we first met, you already showed the quality of being a great hero! But still, this is honestly surprising!' All Might thought while grinning.

But of course! Even if he knows Staz, he would not dare to display such biases! Well, not that he was one of the judges. But still!

All Might flexed his muscles. "HA HA HA HA! Great potential? That, I agree! Haha!" he replied to principal Nezu.

Vlad King looked at All Might. "What's wrong with you as well..?" he asked. "Well, they do look promising," he agreed, looking at the monitors.

Principal Nezu smiled. "Right~?" he said as the monitors showed several people.

Principal Nezu spoke. "Clearly, the examinees here have no idea how many villains are present. Although, they would soon realize that the amount of villains is getting little by little." he said.

"They should soon realize that with the limited time they are given, they must come up with a plan to gather points in this vast area where they have no idea of the villains' location."

The monitors then showed a person with several arms. It looks like he was using his quirk to look for the villains.

Principal Nezu pointed his finger at the monitor. "Look at this one. This one uses information gathering to come up with a strategy," he said.

"Great application of quirk.. I might say," Snipe commented.

Then, the monitor showed a person with an engine pipe on his calves.

"This one relied on his speed to get a head start from the others," principal Nezu said.

"Agility... " Power Loader muttered.

Then, the monitor showed a person shooting a laser on his belly.

"And of course, having the courage and the ability to remain calm can be a huge advantage too!" principal Nezu said.

"Haha! I like this one!" Vlad King said.

Then, the monitor showed two people. One was using an explosion to move at high speed and destroy villains, while the other one was leaping from building to building as he kept on destroying villains with a punch or a kick.

"And of course.. pure combat capabilities." principal Nezu smiled.

"Power huh... I could see that." Ectoplasm commented.

Principal Nezu looked at them. "Out of all these tactics, those two people exhibited the most number of points," he said while smiling.

"Well, it's just as you said principal Nezu, these people looked promising. But... " Snipe said without finishing his sentence.

"—There's still plenty of time before everything is over," Cementoss added.

All Might removed the clear cover of a red button that says [Yaruki Switch]. "Yes, the real test is yet to come. Right now would be a perfect time to test their actual hero capabilities," he said as he pressed the button. "Now then... Let's see how they would react!" he added.

And then, the U.A staff watched, observing more closely.

Going back to the City-E District arena, Staz could be seen hurrying on racking up some points.

For the past six minutes, all Staz has been doing was hunting robots. Leap, search for villains, and punch. Those were his routine currently.

Honestly, it was easy for him to defeat those robot pointers. The only problem was that, there was someone too who would want to take all the points for himself.

He actually thought that gathering up enough points to be placed in class 1-A was already fine. It's just that, he doesn't want to be placed rank lower than him.

He would occasionally see robots and rushed towards it, only for him to see that it had already been destroyed by Bakugo after Staz arrived. It goes vice versa, Bakugo too would sometimes appear right after Staz destroyed the robots.

So for the whole six minutes, it was like Bakugo and Staz racing against each other. But of course, they wouldn't dare to directly attack each other.

And then suddenly, the ground vibrated.

*THWOMP!!* *THWOMP!!*

A large zero pointer appeared.

"W-what is that.!?"

"Hurry up! It was the trap Present Mic mentioned!"

"AAAHHHH!!"

"Tsk..!"

People panicked as they were running away from the zero pointer.

But not Staz.

Immediately after he felt the vibrations, he jumped to look where it was coming from. Looking towards the southwest, he found it rampaging in the narrow place.

'Alrighty! time to earn some rescue points!' Staz thought as he ran towards it.

And as he was running towards it, he saw Bakugo running away from it.

He passed by Bakugo. "Oh? You scared?" he whispered while smirking as he ran past him.

Bakugo hearing it came to a full stop. "Me? Scared?" he muttered. He then turned around to Staz. "You better check your eyes and mouth, you bastard!!" he said as rushed towards Staz.

"Aahh!!"

"I-it's coming..!"

"I'm s-stuck.!"

As they went near it, they saw three people that couldn't get away. But thankfully, three people helped them.

One who has yellow hair and an electric symbol on his hair lifted one of them. "H-here.!" he said, offering his hand.

"T-thank you!"

One was an invisible person. "Grab my hand!" she said.

"H-huh? O-okay! Thanks!"

And one who has pink hair lifted the rubble that was pinned against one of the people. "Run away now!" she shouted.

"Thank you very much..!"

Seeing that, Staz smiled. "Aim for the left shoulder!!" he shouted as he leaped towards the robot.

Bakugo created an explosion, pushing him towards the robot also. "DON'T YOU ORDER ME YOU EXTRA!!" he shouted.

*whoosh!* / *boom!* *boom!* *boom!*

Staz clenched his right fist, while Bakugo's both palms glowed yellow that was making a crackling sound. And then, they strucked the zero pointer at the same time. Staz punched it on the front shoulder, while Bakugo placed both of his hands on top of its shoulder as he fired his explosion.

*Bam!* *Boom!*

In the next moment, the zero pointer's left arm had been torn. A series of explosions then happened inside of the robot, making the two of them to jump out.

Then, it started to fall backwards where Staz and Bakugo were standing.

*THUGG!!* *Boom!*

It created a small smoke as it exploded and fell down. And when the smoke cleared up, two people could be seen standing.

"Ha.. ha..." Bakugo was breathing heavily, while the other one seems to be completely fine.

And then, an alarm was suddenly heard.

*WOOOOOOOO!*

"[Aannndd! Time's up!!]" Present Mic announced.

And with that, the U.A High School entrance exam came to an end.
