Another Date?

That went pretty well in my opinion, looking at the people around the camp, smiling, laughing, and crying with tears of joy, brought a smile to my face.

Makes everything GP worth it, seeing this scene warms my heart, I'm sure that it wasn't just me, who found this heartwarming.

Looking at Echidna and Taylor, I could see them smiling, especially Taylor. She was beaming. This might be different from what she's expecting but this is something a hero would do.

Just by looking at this scene, her dream of becoming a true hero was solidified inside her mind.

Then my eyes landed on Jaune who was wearing a dog mask, like from Naruto Anbu mask. It was my decision for him to wear a mask.

Don't get me wrong, I want him to show his face freely to the world but, doing that means getting more in trouble.

His face was the most hated man in world history, so to avoid that he should wear a mask most of the time, especially in public.

Who knows who would suddenly attack him, either way even with a mask. I could tell Jaune was smiling inside and his body language was radiating happiness.

All of a sudden something tapped my shoulder and I shifted my attention toward the culprit and saw it was Yang, who had a big grin on her face.

"Hey, you really did it! You guys really found a solution..!"

I noticed that she changed her outfit, she doesn't look like a homeless person now, and honestly now that she was prim and proper, I was really surprised at how changing clothes could change a person's appearance.

She's beautiful and I'm not even going to lie, she's hot.

It's no wonder she attracted plenty of guys, with a face and body like that, she could literally get any guy she wanted.

"Yeah, I did promise after all, and…you look different."

Hearing my words, Yang grins even wider and replies, "Yeah? How 'different' exactly?"

"Very different, you look attractive, hot, sexy, and beautiful. Is that what you want me to say?" I was sure she was fishing for compliments, but I don't mind it's probably been a while since she wore something normal and refreshing.

Yang became flustered at my blunt compliment. Usually, this wouldn't type of weak compliment wouldn't faze her, but it was different because she couldn't remember the last time complimented her beauty.

After all, they were all too busy surviving to think about minor things like this, now that she had the time to relax, my compliment somehow managed to bypass her defenses.

"T-thank you.." Yang avoided my gaze because she was embarrassed.

Okay, is this really happening? She's blushing with my compliment, isn't she like the tease of the group, why is she acting like a maiden now?

I'm tempted to use my thinker skill, but that would take the fun out of it, not to mention the headache I'll get after getting some irrelevant information about Yang.

By the way, I already know her 3 sizes when I used my thinker skill on her a while ago, it was irrelevant but a welcome information.

"You're welcome," I replied casually, I could have teased her and made her more embarrassed than she is right now, but I decided not to, so I'll let her calm down.

Right in the corner of my eye, I saw Weiss following Jaune somewhere. I noticed that she was acting unusual, especially with Jaune's presence.

I don't think she held a grudge like Yang did, even though she knew that our Jaune was different from theirs.

Soon, I'll know what she's up to.

After a full minute, Yang finally managed to calm down, "Anyway…thank you for this, you know…I've never thought I'd be able to wear normal clothes ever again especially knowing how dire our situation.."

Then I saw her bite her lips and her eyes started to water and she continued. "I've known that if we keep living like this, I-no we would have died months later…but then you guys came, at first I thought you guys would be additional baggage to our camp since most people that are in the camp are survivors and we take responsibility feeding them…but I was wrong…you guys became our hope, that we might survive even with that J-jaune counterpart!"

I swear I heard her grinding her teeth. I know her PTSD is bad, but this is another level, she can't even stand saying Jaune's name.

What kind of fuck-up things did Jaune's counterpart's body stealer do?

While I'm curious, I'm not really eager to know because I have the feeling that I'd regret it.

"I see, it's quite alright to assume that we're baggage, after knowing your very bad situation I wouldn't be offended neither my group is, still are you here just to thank me?"

"O-oh, among the other things…well, I want to ask you to have a date with me." Yang replied with a bashful look.

"Sorry, what?" I blinked at her words, not expecting them.

"Like I said I want to go on a date with yo-"

I interrupted her and said, "I heard you for the first time, but why? I don't think I did anything special to attract you."

"You're kidding, right? You didn't do anything special?" Yang spoke in a deadpan tone.

Oh, that's fair, but in my defense, it wasn't just me who helped them!

"Anyway, aside from helping you guys, what exactly made you ask me to go on a date with you?"

"Dude, just some advice from me, if you ask questions about 'why' a girl wanted to go on a date with you, you wouldn't get a girlfriend anytime soon," Yang said it like a statement that she fully believes.

Then a ghost smile appeared on my face and replied. "Says who?"

"Me."

"Well too bad, I have a girlfriend!"

You thought you could outsmart me?! Too bad I've outsmarted your outsmarting!

Yang's eyes widened at my revelation. "WHAT?! R-really?! Who?"

"Oh, Echidna, you know the woman with white hair and definitely isn't Weiss." I shrugged at her reaction.

"D-damn I didn't know…" Yang totally did not pout knowing that I have a girlfriend.

"Yeah, I'm afraid I can't accept it." As hot as she is, I definitely wouldn't cheat on my girlfriend, experiencing NTR definitely isn't a good experience and I won't netori her.

Yang stared at me for a moment before letting out a sigh, to be honest, she was quite disappointed that he was not available anymore, it's been a few years since she became interested in someone, and now that she could actually breathe from her responsibility as one of the leaders of the camp, she thought it would be nice for her to have some fun to herself as it's been forever since the last time she did.

Too bad her possible partner romantically wasn't available in the market, as he's already taken.

All of a sudden Echidna emerged from the shadows, and the two noticed her presence.

"Echidna? Since when are you here..?" I blinked in surprise, granted I wasn't as guarded, as usual, but it was still quite careless for me to miss someone who is literally a few inches away from my location.

Is my skill getting duller? No, that's impossible. I'm pretty sure I'm a bit stronger than before, maybe it's just Echidna really good at presence concealment?

"Since the beginning, I have heard everything," Echidna said while looking at Yang who was smiling warily at her.

"Look, I didn't know that you two are a couple…sorr-" Before she could finish her sentence, Echidna interrupted her.

"Stop, I'm not mad about it, I'm simply curious why you asked him out."

"Ummm…" Yang didn't know what to say, as she didn't foresee this situation, then her gaze shifted back to me asking 'what's going on.'

You and me, both I have no idea what's happening.

"So? Why did you ask him out?" Echidna asked simply out of curiosity and nothing more.

"I…I don't know myself okay? Maybe I'm grateful for what he did to us, maybe I found him attractive but one thing for sure, he managed to get good points in my book." Yang stated truthfully.

Okay, now it's me who wanted to ask questions but it's probably best for me to observe.

"I see…Blake." Echidna shifted her attention toward me.

"Yes?" I replied though I have a bad feeling about this.

"Accept her date invitation," Echidna spoke in a casual manner like she was talking about today's weather.

Yang and my eyes widened and shouted at the same time. "WHAT?!/ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"

"So loud, keep your voices low please." Echidna let out a huff.

"That's not the problem here!"

"It's not?" Echidna tilted her head in confusion.

"Yes! You're seriously okay for me to go on a date with another woman besides you?" I asked her with my jaw dropping.

"That's right? I don't see the problem? Blake, I'm not a woman who's going to restrict you from dating another." Echidna replied casually like it was nothing special or serious.

"That's definitely the first time I've heard about it!" I screamed but it was not too hard.

"Well now you know, Blake, I was never against you being in a relationship with another." Echidna let out a small sigh.

Ridiculous is this for real?!

"If that's the case, then why are you jealous of Makomo?"

"Blake…she's a child, and I wasn't jealous it was me concerned." Echidna stated.

That was a really valid point, now it made me feel complicated!

"So you're saying you're fine with me getting a harem as long as they're not a child?"

"Yes, and I'll go now. I don't want to interrupt your date after all." Echidna suddenly left, leaving me and Yang speechless.

"What the hell just happened?" Yang asked particularly no one.

"I don't know…seriously I don't…"

In Echidna's world, to be specific in her era polygamy is pretty much common, especially whether the man is noble or financially stable.

That's why she was open about sharing, as it is normal for her people.

Actually no, but seriously it's the best excuse I got so that he could get a harem alright?!

This was never meant to be a single male and single female thing.

It's a harem, when I meant harem it's at least 5-10 women that he will end up with.
