Hey Cousin!

Leo dropped Dax off at his house, they were quiet the entire ride back. Dax was terrified anything he said might be used against him, and Leo was deep in thought wondering what other kind of superpowers he could draw out of Dax.

"See you soon." Leo said with a big smile as Dax exited the vehicle. "Good job not dying today, well more than once anyway."

"So, I did die?!" Dax replied.

Leo just smiled. Dax sighed and closed his door. He then opened the back door and let Drakie out. After he shut the back door Leo drove away back home.

"Are you okay Magi King?" Drakie asked. "Drakie is worried about you."

"I still feel like I went through a meat grinder, but other than that I am fine." Dax said with a half-cocked smile. "I am just glad to be home."

"Drakie is happy you learned some magic today." Drakie said, flying around in a happy little loop. "We should celebrate with pancakes!"

"I am hoping for something a little better than that." Dax said.
