Why are aliens in books always so full of themselves?

Not far from where Lee and the others were, 6 men were heading in their direction. They seem to be looking for someone.

"Soon to be dead mini-boss, are you sure they are here?" One of them asked the man leading them.

"Yes, I can smell them. There are hunters in this direction." A tall man with shades and an unbuttoned shirt revealing his muscular chest led them. Following the death of one of their own, the boss instructed them to search for the culprit. The group was divided into multiple smaller teams to find the perpetrator.

Although they didn't know if the hunters were the ones who killed him, they decided to start with them.

"They are really here." One of them said as they soon approached the area where Lee's group fought the onion alien.

"Strange, why hasn't Gantz transported us yet?" Lee asked aloud. They had been waiting for a while, but they still hadn't been sent back.

Could it be that there are more aliens? But, he remembered that only two onion aliens were targeted in the manga, and the radar didn't show any aliens nearby.

Akane and Kishimoto stopped talking upon hearing Lee's question. Kishimoto didn't seem worried since she was still unfamiliar with the whole thing, but Akane began to worry after Lee pointed out that.

If they weren't transported back by Gantz, it could mean there was a problem.

Suddenly, the eye that Lee had grown on the back of his neck spotted a fireball heading in their direction. Ever since he was ambushed by the Oni alien, Lee always grew a third eye at the back of his neck to prevent a similar sneak attack. "Careful!" Lee shouted as he grabbed the two girls and jumped away from the incoming fireball.

Boom!!!

Akane and Kishimoto were initially bewildered as to why Lee was carrying them. However, as they turned around, they were stunned to see the area where they had just been standing engulfed in flames.

Through the fire, they saw a group of men walking toward them.

'I was looking for you guys, but you delivered yourself to me.' Lee smiled when he saw them because the man leading had 2 horns growing on his head, one long and one short. These are the characteristics of Oni aliens that Lee was planning to hunt tonight if Gantz didn't transport him.

"Who are you?" Lee demanded, his hands already grabbing the hilt of his two swords. Although he recognized them, it was still important for him to continue acting as if he didn't know them. Sometimes he wondered if he should consider acting as a career. He didn't realize that these Onis appeared here because he killed one of their own.

The Oni alien leader chuckled, his horns glinting in the firelight. "I am known as Mini boss, and you humans are interfering with our business," he said. Although he wasn't sure if they were the ones who killed their companion, the hunters were their enemies and needed to be eliminated.

The trash blood suckers vampires couldn't deal with them, but onis like them can crush human ants as long as they want.

"Your business? Well, it doesn't matter, since you're here, you might as well stay forever," said Lee. He felt that these aliens were talking nonsense, but since Gantz didn't transport them, it meant they had to kill them before going back.

"Haha, I like your tone." The Oni alien leader raised his hand, and a ball of fire materialized in his palm. "Let's see if you can keep your attitude after tasting my hellfire," he said with a wicked grin before throwing the fireball toward Lee and the others.

Lee swiftly raised his sword and sliced the fireball in half with a single swing before it would approach them. He had been training his sword skills with Saeko for the past few days and had made considerable progress. He didn't visit her every day just to flirt with her.

Kishimoto and Akane watched in amazement as Lee effortlessly cut the fireball.

The mini boss's eyes narrowed. "As a human, you are stronger than the other ants. It seems that you will make a better target."

"I want to see if you'll still call me an ant after I dice you," Lee said, swinging his sword casually.

The Oni let out a deep laugh, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Very well, let's see how strong you really are," he replied, summoning more fireballs and launching them at Lee.

With a few waves of his sword, Lee stood there and slashed the fireballs in half easily while remaining vigilant toward the other Onis. He learned to always be on guard when fighting after the sneak attack last time.

After a few rounds, the mini-boss narrowed his eyes under the shades the complacent attitude he had at the beginning was gone. He signaled to his subordinates to make a move. He couldn't risk leaving a dangerous hunter like Lee alive, as he might become a threat to their race in the future.

Upon receiving the command from their boss, the group of oni aliens charged toward the trio. Their limbs transformed into tentacles, just like the one Lee previously killed.

Lee quickly pushed Akane and Kishimoto back, creating some distance between them and the charging Onis. He could have finished the fight quickly if he didn't have to split his attention to protecting them. After this hunt, he would have to train them; otherwise, they would become a burden in the future.

There were four of them charging at him. He easily dodged the first attack, followed by the second and third. One of them attempted to entangle him with his tentacles, but an easy slash cut his limbs making him cry and roll on the ground like a worm.

Lee was surprised to find the fight pathetically easy and he didn't even need to rely on his enhanced senses. He had been training and fighting every night, and he was completely different from the first time he fought the Rat Aliens. With his current speed and strength, his punches could make a sonic boom if he was serious.

Suddenly, the Oni launched a giant fireball. Lee was initially confused as to where it was heading, but he quickly realized that it was targeting Akane and Kishimoto instead of him.

"Bastard!" he shouted, as he quickly turned and rushed towards Akane and Kishimoto, grabbing them and leaping out of the way of the incoming fireball. He landed gracefully.

When Kishimoto saw the giant fireball hurtling toward her, her body froze. She couldn't move, her legs rooted to the spot as she closed her eyes, bracing for impact. But instead of searing pain, she felt the rush of wind in her ears and the sensation of being carried in someone's arms. Confused, she opened her eyes and saw Lee holding her close, causing her face to flush bright red. Feeling his strong arms and chest, smelling his intoxicating fragrance, her pretty face became redder, and her heartbeat accelerated.

The Oni chuckled as he saw Lee's angry expression. "Haha, you seem to value these two humans."

"I won't allow you to harm my women," Lee replied, cringing at his words. It had become an instinct for him to always raise women's favorability for him at every opportunity.

As he looked at Akane and Kishimoto with his third eye, he could swear their eyes briefly turned into hearts. They stood there dumbly staring at him, especially Akane. The look in her eyes seemed to tell him that she wanted him inside her right now.

Lee stopped paying attention to Akane and Kishimoto for a sec and went back to slashing at the incoming onis who resumed their attack. However, every time he wanted to finish one of the onis, that annoying fire Oni would launch a fireball at the girls.

Lee was getting really annoyed by these onis as he fought them off. He couldn't focus on fighting because he had to ensure Akane and Kishimoto were safe too. He could use his power to finish them off, but that would use up most of his energy. He may risk losing consciousness if he empties all his mental energy.

He wanted to deal with them quickly but that annoying Oni always launched fireballs at Akane and Kishimoto whenever he wanted to finish one of the onis.

Lee felt frustrated he was strong enough to finish this group of ragtag trash in a few seconds, but this cunning alien kept targeting Akane, who didn't have her suit, and Kishimoto, who only had Lee's coat to cover her naked body.

Rather than fight prolonged fights such as this, he prefers to spend money everywhere, cheat girls, and give people green hats.

The fight went on for a solid 5 minutes with Lee blocking fireballs aimed at the girls left and right. Suddenly, Kato who had been lying on the ground for a while ran toward one of the Oni trying to tackle him. However, he was swatted by him sending Kato flying. Then out of nowhere, a sword came flying and stabbed one of the Onis in the chest, taking everyone by surprise.

While they were surprised, Lee used his sword to block the other onis' attacks and used the other to cut the injured oni in half.
