Another Dream

Unlike my last dream this dream was much more gruesome. We were in the golden field like my last dream but this time it was destroyed. Fire and blood was all over the field.

Screams of pain and anguish rang in my ears and I looked around trying to find somebody, anybody, but I couldn't see. The smoke was in my eyes, blinding me. The more I breathed, the harder it was to do just that. I began coughing so much to where I dropped to my knees, lungs rattling with desperation for air.

Blinded and choking on smoke I didn't notice the figure coming up behind me, they grabbed the back of my neck and whispered in my ear the familiar words, "They were all going to take you from me Rosemary... I couldn't let them." This time when the man turned me to face him my eyes were open.

There he was... Gaston. Blood, smoke, grim, and sweat was all over him but that wasn't the part that scared me, it was his eyes. His eyes looked so malicious and insane that all I could associate those eyes with are the eyes of Hades himself.

I didn't scream.

I didn't cry.

I didn't move.

I didn't even blink in that moment. Because I knew that this man was going to be the downfall of my kingdom all along.

It didn't matter when or how, but he would've done it either way, wedded with me or not. I blacked out while looking in Gastons eyes and stayed that way for a while. It was as if my brain couldn't take it anymore and shut down itself to take a break.

I was in pitch black darkness.
