After Dinner

I ate quickly and then ran to my room to "Study" (my excuse for leaving) and immediately started to prepare myself mentally and emotionally for this engagement.

First off, he didn't like me, it was just a way for both kingdoms to get power.

Second off, all that I have to do is bear him one child and then I can leave him without causing a war between the countries, unless he goes into a fit of rage.

Third off, I need to keep my distance from him as much as I can until the wedding because he keeps trying to get fresh.

I think some more after telling myself these 3 things and trying to think of more, but my train of thought was interrupted when someone knocked on my door. I quickly ran over to my desk and opened some books trying to be quiet about it so I wouldn't be suspicious, "Come in!" I said.

Gaston and Clarita walked in and they sat down on a settee near me and Clarita spoke first "We were wondering what color of dress you want to wear on the wedding day! White Snow or beige white? Gaston wants to know so he can dress in an appropriate color."

I was kinda confused on the diffrence so I just said "Beige white."

Clarita's eyes lit up "Wonderful! This means that you HAVE thought of your wedding!" she exclaimed.

No, it meant that I wanted them out.

She then pulled out a huge book with the words "Wedding preparations" on the front. "

"Before we get into this... I've been assigned a very important job... to talk to both of you about..." Clarita paused, she wasn't about to give us 'the talk' was she? She continued.

"About what it takes to create an heir to the throne." She was about to continue when I cut her off of the conversation.

"Can we talk about all of this another time? I'm exhausted." I said.

She looked relieved that she didn't have to give the talk and she grabbed Gaston and quickly left the room. I realized that I actually was tired so I put my books up and got changed for bed. I layed down and turned off the lamp, and then I stared at the ceiling for a while and fell asleep.
