Chap. 4 Bryan's Wish

Stacey got up and walked away Angrily. She was very emotional with Bryan's fickle attitude.

"Bastard." Stacey's words are still ringing in Bryan's ears. The boy was pacing restlessly, confusion engulfing Bryan's heart.

Bryan always followed Stacey wherever he went for the past few days. He followed to the laboratory, library, canteen and even cheered practice. Bryan crossed his arms, watching Stacey doing cheers exercises and being abandoned with his basketball team. To get Stacey's sympathy for every attention was paid. With all the moves he has done, but all vain. Stacey was getting annoyed and fierce. It turned out that his rejection at that time was still etched in Stacey's memory. Maybe Stacey is hurt and wants revenge; that's what Bryan thinks.

It was lonely for Bryan because he was always alone at home. It had been a month since Bryan's parents had been on a business trip to Europe and had not returned.

"Damn, they don't care about my feelings. Money, money and money are on their minds. Luckily I'm a good kid, never trying to spend the money to buy drugs. Otherwise, the money runs out in an instant." Bryan mumbled to himself on the balcony of his house.

"You say you're annoyed, but you're so cute, soon to me." Bryan monologued like an insane person. His facial expression changed from gloomy and lethargic to his smile as he glanced at the swimming pool.

During heavy rain, Bryan swam using only boxers.

"Is that the real video?"

"Really, it's not that Bryan has refused. How come in the video it looks like Bryan is chasing Stacey."

"But it's live streaming video, so yeah… it's real."

"Huh...." The girls sighed in disappointment after seeing the recorded video in the cafeteria uploaded by Clara's IG account and deliberately mentioning bitch accounts and gossiping about people.

"Feel the hurt of revenge, girls?" Clara laughed as she hugged Stacey past the gossipers.

"Get out of the way, shh shh." zack stylized as if shooing chickens away, walking, following Stacey and Clara.

In the classroom, Bryan was not seen until class started. Even his friends didn't know why Bryan didn't go to school.

"Hun, try asking the gang why Bryan didn't attend the class without permission." Clara took the initiative as if she knew Stacey's feelings because her best friend had glanced at Bryan's seat several times.

"Okay, baby, anything I do for you." Zack grimaced as he walked away.

"Hey boys, by the way, where's Bryan. Why didn't he present Rarely? I'm curious." Zack made a curious face.

"Stacey, ask you to know how Bryan is doing?" guess Max.

"I'm a reporter for a gossip account; I have to move quickly to news like this. Your friend is the most high-rated news material," replied Zack while raising and lowering his eyebrows.

"I think Bryan's clone ordered it." Rooney replied.

"Clone?" Zack scratched his head.

"Your girlfriend's friend." Jack pointed with his head.

Zack laughed reflexively, imagining how boring this world be if there was a human clone of the two of them. While from afar, Clara was glaring sharply, returning Zack's consciousness from the original intention to extract information.

"Bryan, he has a fever, he said." Rooney shows the new incoming chat from Bryan on his cellphone. Before Zack had time to digest the information from Rooney, the students had already scattered to their seats because Mr Collins, the killer teacher, came with a bent face.

"Bryan has a fever?" Zack half-whispered to Clara.

"Zack Lee, want me to ask you to clean the toilet right now!" Mr Collins glared at Zack. "Prepare the blank paper for the test right now." Mr Collins' words received a sigh of concern from the students.

"Physic test."

After school, Stacey is confused about finding an excuse to come to see Bryan at his house. Deep down, Stacey was worried because she knew Bryan had been living alone at home all this time. Again Clara was super understanding, so Stacey wanted to scream with joy.

"Let's go see Bryan; my boyfriend needs a gossip." Clara pretended to use Zack as an excuse. Stacey immediately smiled faintly imperceptibly.

"Do you want me to stop by the fruit shop at the crossroads of Bryan's house?" Zack made a suggestion.

"Okay, Stacey, let's hurry. It looks like it's about to rain." Clara pulled Stacey into Zack's motorbike to stack three with Clara in the middle. Luckily today, Zack uses an automatic motorbike, not a sports motorbike as usual.

Arriving at Bryan's house, they pressed the doorbell repeatedly. After the tenth bell, Bryan opened it. He looked pale but suddenly smiled when he saw that his plans managed to make Stacey come to his house. 'Yes it worked.' Brian thought.

"Come in." Bryan invited the three of them while holding his head throbbing in pain.

"Bryan, what's wrong with you? Your face looks ashen." Usually, Clara represents Stacey's inner voice.

'Clara, the best.' Stacey thought.

"Heartache, until my physically was affected," Brian replied with a smirk.

"Tsk...." Stacey chuckled, turning her face away.

"Come on, let's make a drink; my throat is thirsty. Bryan, excuse me, can we make our drink in the back?" Zack finds an excuse so that his two friends can talk privately.

"Good idea, I can help," said Clara.

"You were fine yesterday, why are you suddenly sick today?" Stacey came over and held Bryan's hot forehead. "Gosh… it's so hot, have you taken your medicine yet? Why not put a compress on your head?" Stacey was suddenly worried.

"Jeez, come here!" Bryan pulled Stacey's hand to sit beside him. Without permission, Bryan laid his head on Stacey's lap. "Very comfortable," Bryan muttered as he closed his eyes.

"Bryan, I asked you, are you already ..."

"Not yet, Stacey. My pain medicine is you."

"Jerk," Stacey's cheeks were flushed. She complied with Bryan's request, which seemed spoiled but normal for someone sick.

"Stacey stroked my head, um… so comfortable." Bryan wrapped his arms around Stacey's slender waist as he inhaled his scent. His lips slightly pulled to the side; this girl is too easy to give sympathy to him.

"Bryan, stop it! I wasn't just asking to be petted." Stacey complained.

"You smell so good. It's like the smell of Mommy's body." Bryan was continuing the action of his nose absorbing Stacey's scent.

Stacey gaped at Bryan's comment. She feels sorry for Bryan; even when he is sick, he is alone, without anyone to take care of him.

"Bryan..."

"Stacey, Please, leave it like this for a moment." Stacey feels sorry for Bryan's spoiled whishing too.

Stacey's stomach growled, begging to be filled.

'Gosh…, my stomach is just embarrassing.'
