chapter 37:I Chose Him!

Lisa p.o.v

Am currently in toby's room, sleeping on his bed after what happened last night I ended up falling asleep and he held me by the waist and I couldn't remove his hand from me so I chose to sleep bit longer.

Soon I felt someone shaking me gently, I opened my eyes and I saw toby on his knees as his face closer to my face. our lips almost touching.

"I can see you're enjoying sleeping in my bed but unfortunately you need to go back to the guest room before mom budge in here" he whispered to me.

"Really?but am enjoying it here, can't she just send a maid here instead of her coming besides am too lazy to leave. Let me sleep " I said whining and closing my eyes.

"I guess I have to carry you to your room, should I?" He asked as he stood up.

"No,no, you can't and no need for that am already awake" I yelled as I quickly sat on the bed.

"Why are you suddenly afraid and acting shy all of a sudden, what? Are you scared to be seen by other people?" He asked as he bend to my level smiling at me.

"Wh..what?what.. m..makes you think that?" I asked stammering.

"I think you're scared to repeat the thing we did last night, am I wrong?" He asked teasing me.

And I won't lie the closer he got to my face, my heart beat increased and I was trying hard not to be seen weak because his kisses were magical and sweet.

"Nice try and for your information am wondering why you're asking me to leave I thought you're old enough to do your thing?" I asked

"I am old enough to do a lot of things, but until am officially appointed as the alpha I can't break a rule why? You can't get enough of me?" He asked teasing me more.

"Well until then,I guess I'll have to leave see you tonight then" I said as I stood up and left his room.

I walked towards my room when a maid came to me and greeted me before saying something.

"Good morning madam,I have been sent to tell you that you are needed in the living room" she said before bowing  and walked away.

First I was stunned by the way she greeted me like royal and doing the same before she left.

I went to my room, did my morning routine before joining miss Jones in the living room for breakfast.

As I entered the room,I noticed that toby didn't come for breakfast and I barely knew how but his mom was there.

"Don't worry toby won't be joining us for breakfast it's  only us" she said as she took a sip of her drink.

"Wait...how? How did you know I was looking for him, I barely said anything?" I asked her confused.

"You...nothing I just assumed that and besides why don't we go for shopping I would like us to spent time together " she suggested.

"Well about that toby and I went shopping yesterday, so I think spending time together will be great too though " I said as I took a bit of mango.

"Great then,I'll go and get ready while you have your breakfast" she said as she stood up and left me alone.

As I was waiting for her, toby came downstairs and saw me standing at the foyer.

"Whay are you standing there like you're waiting for someone? is it me?" He asked as he smiled.

"Yes I am but unfortunately it's not you so sorry" I said.

"Well that's heart breaking but it's ok as long it's not a guy" he said walking past by me.

I turned around to look at him as he walks out of the house.

I heard someone walking down the stairs and I turned to see toby's mom and she looked stunning wearing short black dress with black sunglasses and a small white purse.

She looked like a model walking in a runway fashion show. She looks young and beautiful blue eyes just like toby's.

I didn't realise I was staring at her for a long time 7miles she cleared her throat and wondered if she ruined her makeup or something.

"Sorry for staring at you, I was just looking at how elegant you look with your dress, it surely makes you look so beautiful " I said hoping not to make her feel uncomfortable with me.

"Well thanks dear,you seem to recognize me as young and beautiful its been long since I heard such a wonderful compliment and thank you" she said smiling and laughed.

We then left the house and the driver opened the door of the car for us,he drove us past the mall and I wondered where we were going.

"Don't you worry, I changed the plan since you told me that toby bought you a dress I think we should go for a spa instead to make you more beautiful and myself too " she said as she typed on her phone.

It took us hours to finally reach our destination then went in, I was surprised to see how big and beautiful the place was and there were women who stood in line to welcome us.

It seemed that I was going to have fun for sure, I was taken to a private room where I showered and there was a masseuse waiting for me to give me a massage and I felt relaxed.

I didn't realise that I was going to share the room with miss Jones when I heard her voice as I was laying on my stomach facing down and I didn't expect her to ask me something about my aunt either.

"I hope you don't mind if I  invite your aunt to tonight's event?" She asked as she laughed probably because she had a ticklish body.

"Of course not, I was looking forward to see her anyway " I said as the masseuse massaged my back.

After the spa she invited me for lunch and then we went back home where the were female who seemed like a stylist.

One of them pulled me and sat me on a chair as they started working on my hair,others on my face as they continuously showing me different colours of dresses.

By the time they were done, I was ready for the occasion and they all applauded as they saw me walking downstairs, there were guests who have arrived already.

I spent the night dancing and enjoying myself when I spotted a familiar face it was veronica, I was glad to see her and we both left to talk privately as there were photographers and loud music playing on the background.

"Hey lisa, how are you? I missed you a lot " she said as we sat on the bench.

"Am fine veronica and I missed you too, am glad you came I was looking forward to see you either way " I said happily.

"I know that I have hidden things from.you but trust me when I say that I did it to protect you and us" she said as she puts her hand on my lap.

" I know that and I thought about everything.... and I think am ready to make up my mind" I said chuckling.

"Am glad to hear that but first you have to know that you'll be eighteen next week and you need to make a wise decision too" she said.

"Wha...what do you mean by that? And what's the hurry though?" I asked confused with what she just told me.

"I know and am sorry for saying this but the sooner you choose the better for your future " she added.

"But how do I make the decision so quickly am not even sure about my feelings" I said as I felt like I was carrying heavy weights on my shoulders.

"I know that lisa,  but you have to make a decision about your mate, it's the only way yo determine where your future lies " she said as she knelt in front of me.

"So if I choose my mate then I get to he with him forever and not get close to the other side?but why?" I asked her.

"Its how the rules are lisa so who do you choose as your future? Is it toby or mike?" She asked again.

I looked at the mansion and closed my eyes and said the person I chose as my future.

"I chose him" I said as I felt as if something was lifted from my shoulders.

I hope that I won't regret this, I prayed silently as I opened my eyes and the look on Veronica's face showed that she had approved of my choice too.....
