Werewolf King, please don't marry me!

Rose is a beautiful nerd with a vulgar brain and absence of filter on her lovely mouth. Even With all the shortcomings of being loud and obnoxious, no one can deny that the girl was a genius who was graduating from the prestigious St. George University of California. She was blissfully happy living her normal life in ignorance of her family’s darkest secret until the very fateful summer just before her internship when she reluctantly had to go back to her hometown for some ‘unknown’ family crisis. Adding to the top of the list of ‘what Rose don’t want to do’ was the trip to the waterfall in the middle of the forest that her brother and cousin so generously planned. After another unfortunate incident, Rose found herself lost in the middle of the forest about to be eaten by a gorgeous golden-brown wolf but to her utter shock the majestic animal spared her life. Now with the new found hope of escaping the deadly forest, she started her journey to find her way back only to stumbled upon a horrific scene of a fight between her uncles and the same wolf which resulted in the wolf being extremely injured and her uncles running for their lives. Feeling pity for the poor animal, she went to see his condition only for the wolf to change in to a equally gorgeous man right before her eyes. Not even in her wildest dream she thought she will witness something bizarre like this. So, she did the only logical thing she could think of; She screamed like hell! She tried to run away, of-course but her conscious was killing her for leaving a ‘handsome’ dying ‘man’ behind. Being a medical student, she decided to treat him in private right under her family’s nose. He promised to pay back for her kindness. What a joke of a promise it was! As the GORGEOUS man she so generously saved and protected, revealed that he is the Werewolf King and also her mate? And she HAS TO MARRY HIM if she wants to protect her family and people! and How will she react knowing about her own true self? Will she be able to accept the truth or will she die in denial? Are you ready to embark on an adventurous journey of Rose as she found her true self and also her true mate?

Why are you disturbing the balance of nature?

"I am not going to ALASKA! THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I AM GOING BACK TO ALASKA!" I shouted angrily.

Never! Not even in million years, I am going to my own personal hell ever again! My dead body will go there only!

Three hours later,

"Four tickets booked for Ketchikan, Alaska" I said keeping my phone on the table after booking the tickets for the hell online.

I can't believe I really did that.

Bravo! I booked the flight for my own death!

So, what happened is my mother and father literally emotionally blackmailed me how my mother's side of family is in danger.

I don't know why should I care for them when they never cared for us? I am 23 years old, my brother is 25 and we have never seen them yet. They didn't care about us. So why should we?

But yet, they are my mother's family. I had to make this difficult decision! No matter how much I hate it. It's about family.

Before two hours,

I mean we are moving to Alaska and we are going to meet our mom's side of family. Ketchikan isn't the only place in the whole Alaska, right?

"So, where does your family lives mother and where are we staying, again?" I asked curiously while bringing my cell phone to book the tickets.

'Why always I have to book tickets? Why this good boy never does any work?' I thought glaring at my good for nothing brother.

"Um. For the time being, we will be staying at your Grandpa's house" said Father with a small smile.

"Oh, Okay. Where does Grandpa lives exactly?" I asked excitedly.

I can live in peace at any place in this entire world if it's not Ketchikan.

"Ketchikan city" my father replied nervously and all the excitement said their farewell to my face.

My jaw dropped to the floor once my father said those two unholy words.

"What my maternal Grandpa also lives in Ketchikan City and we never got to see them? You always lied to us??" I asked in astonishment.

Even Mark had the same expressions on his face.

"You were lying to us all these years?" asked my drama queen brother in disappointment.

"Well, he doesn't stay at the city.. hehe.. Honestly. He lives.. um.. nearby. But we are staying with my family for the time being" said Father with the most innocent look on his face and those words were like daggers through my heart.

Blood drained from my beautiful face after my father's another lethal attack.

"Why? Why you always have to do this with me? Do you know how much those people hate me?" I asked in a disheartened. My eyes were almost moist.

"Am I not your daughter? Am I adopted?" I asked questioning my own existence at this point.

"Of course, you are my lovely daughter and nobody hates you, my love. They can't hate you. They just.. umm… kind of.. in a misunderstanding" said Father with a small chuckle which didn't lighten up my mood at all.

I was not ready to listen to that 'They don't hate you' sh*tty lecture again'. I have suffered every single time when I was there. Yet, they are trying to make it sound like nothing.

"I am not following. They simply hate me or you can put it as 'dislike' me, if you want it to sound less harsh. I don't want to go back to that dungeon" I replied in an angry tone.

"I want them to change this mentality about you. You are much more than that. They should know it by now" said father insistently while keeping his hands on my shoulders.

Are you kidding me? Everyone knows how much they hate me and how much I hate them! IT'S A BEAUTIFUL SYMMETRY! I don't understand why my parents wants to change something which was so wonderfully arranged by the universe itself!

"I don't want them to know that. They don't like me and I don't like them. What is your problem? Why are you disturbing the balance of nature? Who are you go against the laws made by nature?" I asked glaring at him angrily.

But at this point my brother can't hold it back anymore and burst into laughter.

"I agree. They really hate her" said Mark honestly but he doesn't sound like he was on my side though.

"I don't get it. They hate mother and they hate me but they have no problem with you and Mark what so ever. I don't want to be with people who judge me for God knows what?" I said while throw my hands in the air in frustration.

"You know, Rose dear. We are doing this for your mother. Don't you love your mother?" asked my father in a small painful voice.

There we go again with the emotional blackmailing! How am I supposed to say something negative without making it sound negative? It's a clear win for him!

"I know and I do love her. but…" I looked at my mother who was looking at me with the pleading eyes.

A strong woman like my mother was holding tears, I knew I can't win this fight anymore. So, I eventually gave in.

Taking a deep sigh, I looked down and replied,

"Fine, I will bear them for the time being"

I did not wait for their answer and grabbed my cell phone.
