Chapter 6: Bleeding

I slid into the water and he turned around. "Why do you keep fighting me? I hate using my Alpha voice." He said as he kneeled beside the tub. "I just wanted to keep everyone safe. I didn't want to leave you out there." He huffed and wet a washcloth. I watched him lather it and a knock sounded at the door.

He left and I could hear him talking lowly so I couldn't hear. When he returned he brought some ointments and tossed them on the counter. "Dinner is out there too since you haven't eaten all day." He said as I ducked under the water. He soaped up the washcloth again and stuck his hands in the water. "Can I wash you?" I straightened up and my chest rose out of the water. "I can do it." He handed me the washcloth and watched as I cleaned the grime from my body.

"I defy you because I don't feel your calls are always right. I needed to make sure Molly was safe and then turned around to see you not there... It scared me and so I ran back. The way he was looking at her made me want to claw his eyes out." Gavin covered my hand. "Then I'll change her guard." I nodded and he warxhed me wash my hair.

"You are enchanting Holly, and I can not wait to feel you." His eyes flashed as I ducked down I to the murky water. "I'll wait don't worry." He whispered as he pulled out a towel and clothes. "I'm gonna go shower in another room, please stay until I come back. I'll be quick. I promise." I nodded and watched as he walked away with his head down.

I finished my bath and dressed in the black tshirt and boxers he left for me. My hips barely holding on to the boxers, but my ass held them up enough. I walked over to a silver covered tray and opened it to see burgers and pizza. I recovered it to wait for Gavin and sat in the chair by the fire. Not long and the door burst open. "Phillip was not at his post." I shot up out of the chair. "Molly is fine, but Philip was I'm her room. Dimitri and Sean called it in and I had to go check it out. So I followed his scent into her room." I swiftly moved oit of his room and into the hall. "I told you." I huffed.

"Where are you going?" Gavin asked as he caught my elbow. "To sleep with her, I don't trust any of you." His eyes flashed pain and he released my elbow. I didn't mean him. "I-I didn't.." He cut me off. "It's fine." He said as he turned and went back to his room. I huffed and ran to my sisters room. Two guards where st the door. "What are your names?" I asked as I slowed down. "I am Sean and this is Dimitri." I nodded and looked back to Sean. "Thank you both for calling in and looking after Molly and I. I know you have both had a long night, but I really don't trust a lot of people." They nodded and they moved aside to allow me to slip into Molly's room.

I curled in the bed and pushed her to the other side of the bed. "Holly." She yelled as she curled into my side. "Shh. Molly just let me hold you." She grunted and curled into me anyway. I sent Gsvin a mind link. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I just get protective." He didn't answer which left me tossing and turning next to Molly who slept soundly.

At seven She was up and dressed. "Get up Holly." She pulled me up and I groaned. "Come on let's go get breakfast." She pulled me past Dimitri and Sean who still stood at the door. I walked toward the kitchen. Molly led me to a huge dining hall where everyone helped themselves. "This is where he feeds everyone from his staff. We get plates too." She handed me a plate and a pain erupted from my abs. I ignored it and stacked my plate.

We sat at a table and ate as she talked about wolves and wond wondered what color ahe would be. I laughed as another pain shot through me. I got up and a male wolf grabbed me. "Get off I yelled." As I shoved him back. "You need to go to your room I can smell you." He grunted and I rolled my eyes. I walked with Molly as people started to turn towards us. "Run Molly." We ran and Molly yelled for Gavin. I scooped her up and Gavin came around the corner. "What in the..." His eyes flashed and he grabbed me. "Move. Dimitri, Sean don't let anyone past." He threw me and Molly into my room and shut the door.

I heard a bunch of growels and a huge roar before things got quiet. Molly sat down in a white chair. "You are bleeding Holly." She said as I looked down. "Oh shit." I said as I ran to the bathroom. A knock sounded and I yelled just a minute as I took off the boxers to soak and cleaned myself up. "Molly look for some pants." She handed me a pair of black yoga pants and I slid them on with a pair of black panties.

I rushed to the door and Paisley stood there. "You okay dear?" She asked and I nodded and moved allowing her to come in. "You should know better then to walk around when your on your...predicament with no oil." She said looking at me. "I never had one before and I never was taught."

She took Molly's hand and told her to go play and she would be in there soon. "You just take an oil and spread it on your body everytime you change. It should only last a few days. And I use it everyday just because it keeps the hounds away." She smiled and I went to grab the lavender oil.

"After you bleed the next week or two is when you will be fertile. Or able to conceive a pup. Gavin has already made himself a room in another wing so he can control his wolf. So you won't see him for a bit, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind hearing your voice. Amelia and Maryann will bring you your meals, and I will watch and care for Molly. We can come visit you of you wish." I nodded ad she made her way to the door and froze.

Paisley picked up a book that was on my nightstand. "A curious pick Holly. This was Gavin's favorite when he was a boy." She smiled and slid the book back down. "Numbers are in the drawer he is staying in room 130. Molly is in room 4. Dial the number and then the star key." I moved to the door. "Thank you Ms. Paisley." She nodded and closed the door behind her.

For three days I sat in the room and food was brought to me. Every afternoon Molly and Ms. Paisley came to visit and Gavin stayed away as promised. In fact all the males did. I sat by the phone and must have picked it up fifty times. "Get a grip Holly. You hurt him, and he probably doesn't want to hear from you." A pressure in my chest flickered. Inhad stopped bleeding at least I thought as I laid back in the bed.

Maybe one call, just to see if he is okay. My night where filled with images of Gavin and I rolling in bed. His hands all over my body. The feeling of him being inside me, not that i knew what that would feel like. I picked it up and dialed the number 130 followed by the star key. A gruff voice answered the phone. "Hello."

I took a deep breath. "Holly?" I smiled and ran a finger over the bed. "Hey Gavin I just wanted to thank you for saving me the other day, and well everything. I'm sorry I snapped at you too. Molly is very happy here and I just I don't know... I felt alone a lot and always had to look out for her on my own. So it's hard for me to let that go, and I didn't mean it. I do trust you, I just didn't trust Phillip. Your Mom is wonderful and she explained a lot. I just never worried about these things before." He grunted into the phone. "Well I'd do anything for you Holly. Literally anything and I understand wanting to protect family." It was an ominous statement, but I was happy he was talking to me. "So when can I see you again?" He huffed and punched something. "I'd guess another two weeks or so."

"I don't like that."I said as I moved the phone." Gavin moved and let out a deep breath. "Me either Holly, but if I see you my wolf could take over, and I don't want to attack you, hurt you, or mate with out your consent." I nodded and played with the pillow. "What if I gave you consent?" He snarled and I heard a bunch of bangs. "Don't mess with me Holly. I am on a tight leash here and I am about to snap." I rolled my eyes and walked with the cordless phone to dresser. "What would make you come here?" He snarled again. "Choose a different topic."

I slid put of my coral shorts and took off my tank top and slid into a black lacey piece. "What if I told you I had on a black lace...." A roar broke through the phone. "Do you want me to come over there. Once I mark you there is no coming back. What if you hate me? What if you get pregnant right now? Are you okay with these options?" He snapped and I huffed. "One I doubt I'd hate you. Two I want to be mated, I am just scared and three if I have one more dream of you touching me and waking up to a cold bed I'm going to touch myself."

The phone was silent and after a second I hung up and tossed the phone. My door burst in and Gavin stood there sending the guards away as he eyed me. I smiled as he moved quickly towards me and grabbed me. He grabbed a blanket and three it over my head and picked me up. I was tossed over his shoulder and a hand came down on my ass with a crack.
