Chapter 10: Alpha
Anger boiled in my blood. "Why did you poison the king?" I asked and all three looked at me. I found a table with tools and picked up a small thin blade. "Why?" I asked the first person. A male wolf who smiled at me. I cut his cheek and warched the blood slide down his face. He spat at me and I could feel my wolf surfacing. "Why did you poison him?" My voice echoed and he shook his head. "His names Christopher." Said the woman next to him.
"And your name?" She kept looking down. "Donna." She whispered as she hung there defested. "Who the hell told you to do this?" The firdt man groweled and I stuck the knife in his knee as Paisley made a sound and the third man lofted his head to watch her. "Have a thing for Paisley, what where you three promised?" The room shook again. "We where promised a wish. Logan asked for Paisley to be her mate. I asked to be a Queen, and Chris asked to be a Captain." Chris snarled st her and the girl shrank away.
"By Who?" I yelled and they all hung there silent. I walked back in ront of Christopher. "You a guard? How sweet, I shoved the pin in his chest and drug it downward. "I'll keep moving this until one of you answers my questions. All of them." I pulled slowly hesring his skin rip. "Oh gosh." Donna said as she watched. "Who and why? That's what I need."
When no one answered I dragged it further as Christopher yelled. "Wellin, now stop." Screamed Logan. I pulled the thin blade from Christopher. "Why?" He shrugged and I stabbed him this time. "He found out secrets about us." Donna yelled and continued to talk quieter. "He is gonna kill us. He wanted us to cooperate. Everyone had orders, and they are all different. He wants you and your sister back." Chistopher kicked her. "Shut up." He barked as he flung his head back.
"Why does he want us back?" No one answered so I stabbed Donna and she screamed. "Why us?" Christopher snarled. "Let her go she just served you, I put it in there." I took out the knife and cut Logan's neck. Blood sprayed across my face. "Why?!" I yelled and Donna cried. "He said... Wellin said you where going to be his to have. That no other was to touch you and if they did he'd kill us. That you have Alpha Blood and can make Alpha's for him." She gasped looking at Logan. Tears ran down her face.
"So he wants me to give him Alpha's. Had you three position the King. Where does Molly fit in? And why kill the King?" Both of them where quiet. "Come on!" I yelled as I walked back to the tabled and grabbed a knife. I sliced off Donna's finger. "She was backup! Incase you failed. He knew about her, let you raise her." She gasped as she screamed. "And?" Christopher fought against his chains. "And he wants the King out of the way so he can rise to power. Now stop torturing her." He pleaded and I turned to see Paisley white as a ghost. "Any other questions Ms. Paisley?"
She nodded and handed me her list. I walked to them again. "Blink once for yes two for no. Understand?" They both nodded and my wolf grew restless and loving the power. I read the list and marked the ones they blinked yes to with blood. "If you are wrong I will come back and kill you slowly. If you are telling the truth I will free you." I walked to Paisley and she whispered kill them.
"Are there others that are not on this list?" I asked and they blinked once. "Who?" I roared and Christopher croaked "Phillip, and Dimitri." I glanced at Paisley and she took off running. "Thank you." I cut their throats at the same time. and hurried after her closing the door behind me.
I ran through the black hallways and almost passed Paisley's room. I listened as she told Sheamus of all the people who was going to betray the King, and a shorter less gruesome account of what happened in the dungeon. I cracked the door a bit and slid in as Moy read a book. I closed it as quietly as I could before a thud sounded.
Molly's head whipped up and her eyes grew wide. "You used it again, didn't you?" I nodded and she ran to my side... "I'm sorry I known you don't like using it." I nodded and looked over at Paisley. "I didn't know you had problems with your wolf." She said and I nodded. "She gets a bit blood thirsty when released all the way." I said as I glanced down. "Go shower Gavin is on his way here." She unlocked the doors and handed the list to Sheamus. "Go now and start pulling people." He nodded and pecked her lips before going oit the way I came in.
"Molly wipe up behind your sister and then toss it in the trash. Holly toss the clothes into here so I can burn them quickly." I tore off the clothes and placed them in the bucket. "Not a word girls, he will go nuts." We nodded and I walked as Molly wiped up the blood. I turned the shower on and as Molly ran out I heard Gavin's voice.
