12 Chapter 11 : Injured Young Man

The evening had begun without excitement for the Cullen family. Except for Rosalie's situation, of course...

All the vampires who learned of her conflict with Derek Swan were shocked and then burst into laughter.

The incident was so funny that even Emma playfully laughed and mocked at the situation her lover was in.

She even made fun of the men's shirt that Rosalie was wearing,

"Your new lover has really bad taste..." even the sexy brunette had said.

Until she placed a short kiss on Rosalie's lips… Emma felt like she'd been punched when she tasted her girlfriend's taste that didn't belong to her.

Seeing that Rosalie was looking at her uneasily, the fiery brunette had saved the situation by giggling and hugging her.

However, she tensed her entire body to avoid being annoyed by the aroma she felt first on her girlfriend's lips, and then on her own.

Except for Rosalie and Emma, Edyth was the only person who was quiet… The elegant copper-haired beauty was the only one who was fully aware of the situation, as she could hear both Rosalie's and Emma's thoughts.

Rosalie had been kissed by Derek and Emma understood it...

The beautiful vampire sighed when she heard of the tortures Emma was planning to inflict on Derek. She could understand that the young man's fault was not all responsibility. Rosalie had infuriated the man by attacking and humiliating Derek...

That's why the young man tried to punish blonde by kissing her. But then things took a strange turn, when both her sister and the muscular teen found themselves passionately kissing and making love.

At least that was Edyths guess. She couldn't be 100% sure of the situation, as she couldn't read Derek Swan's mind. But that was all copper haired vampire could tell from Rosalie's thoughts...

What she really wondered was how Rosalie felt about Derek when the two kissed. The blonde vampire saw Derek at that moment, just like Emma, as a lover, a family member... And this had preoccupied Edyth's mind for a long time.

Unfortunately, the young woman had no idea why this was the case... The fact that Rosalie didn't know that either didn't help her understand this situation.

Her thoughts were so confused that Edyth did barely discern the thoughts of the Quilette youngsters as approached their territory… And the copper-haired beautiful woman jumped to her feet in surprise when she noticed that they were chasing the familiar black wolf.

At the same time as Edyth, while Alice was laughing at Rosalie, she suddenly went into a trance and saw a vision of the future...

The Cullen vampires looked at Edyth, who had sprung to her feet, and then at Alice, who had gone into a trance, in amazement.

Edyth was the first to speak.

"The Quilette wolves had a conflict with Derek Swan and injured him... They're chasing him now..."

The vampire family was quite surprised by this situation. Emma was the first to react.

"Let them catch him ... It's none of our business." said beautiful brunette.

Hazel, Carlisle, and Esme were undecided.

Surprisingly, Rosalie was the first to offer to help the young man.

" Derek Swan is our ally... We have to help him."

Almost every member of the family gave her shocked looks at this sentence.

Except for Edyth, who can read blondes mind. Her lips twitched when she heard what was going through her sister's mind.

The fiery blonde's mind was split in two. But inexplicably, both opposing sides wanted to save the young man:

Part of her hated the young man so she thought it must be her who kicked his ass.

On the other hand, she found the young man valuable and didn't want to lose him... This side of Rosalie wanted to feel Derek's touches again. After she kicked his ass for kissing her without permission.

Edyth rolled her eyes at her hypocrisy.

But then the young woman got serious and thought about what to do.

'Should they help Derek Swan? Or should they just ignore it? '

As the family members, all of whom were hot women, were in an unstable state, Alice trembled to herself.

Noticing her plight, everyone turned their attention to the elegant short-haired vampire.

Turning her beautiful eyes to her family, Alice spoke.

"We have to help Derek... Now!"

"Why?" Hazel pouted at her lover.

'Really...' thought Carlisle. 'Why should we help him? '

The mature woman felt her heart tremble when she thought of Derek's dark blue eyes. Despite the passing of days, she could not forget the look of the young man...

Whenever she remembered those eyes, she felt inexplicably horny, trying to relax by having sex with her wife. She and Esme had made love many times in the last 3 days.

Even though Esme wondered why she was in this state, she smiled and evaluated every sex invitation, waiting for her wife to tell her why she was always horny. However, Carlisle was embarrassed by this and could not say a word to her wife.

When the shy mature vampire heard that the person who made her feel these feelings was injured, her first thought was to run to him for help. But her logical side told herself that there was no reason for it.

'I shouldn't endanger my family for someone I've only seen once'

That's what Carlisle had in mind. That's why she didn't speak, she wanted to hear the opinions of other family members.

The mature blonde was awakened by Emma's scolding voice.

"Give me one reason why we should help that stupid dog, Alice... Give me one logical reason..."

Alice spoke with a sigh at the burly brunette's sentence.

"I just had a vision-"

However, Emma interrupted her.

"The fact that you're seeing another bed adventure isn't a logical reason for us to help him!"

"If you don't interrupt me…" said the beautiful brown-haired girl, "I can tell in my vision that Esme was saved by Derek, dear sister."

Everyone was surprised at her statement.

" How so ? " Carlisle said in surprise . " Will Esme be in danger in the future ? "

Almost all the Cullen vampires have turned to Esme.

Seeing her family looking at her with worried eyes, Esme sighed and spoke.

"I'm fine now... Let Alice finish her sentence."

Alice continued speaking, giving her mother a grateful look.

"In my vision, Esme was running from vampires I hadn't seen before... Derek saved her just as she was about to be captured," she said.

Then she added the sentence that had everyone agreeing to help the young man.

"Derek will save Esme in the future... So we have to save him today."

Saying all this, the short brown-haired girl gave Edyth a nervous glance without anyone noticing. Seeing that the copper-haired vampire didn't say anything, she quietly relaxed.

Carlisle was the first to act on what Alice said. Mature beauty stood up and said to her family:

"We're taking action now..."

The Cullen vampires reacted quickly and rushed out of the house one by one.

Carlisle ran first, followed by Edyth.

Emma, Rosalie, Hazel, Alice and Esme were following them in that order.

The reason why the Cullen vampires agreed to help the young man in such a short time was obvious: their love for Esme...

The mature brunette vampire was the one who played the mother role in the family. Carlisles role was more of a logical and responsible father to them.

That's why even the jealous Emma was running with all her might without saying a word. Esme was the one who united the family... It was their mother they valued... Each of them would fight unblinkingly to protect her.

Following her family in the back, Esme couldn't help but feel happy and touched. The woman she loved and her beautiful daughters went to war without hesitation to protect her.

Esme didn't say silly things like 'This is too dangerous... Don't do this for me'. Because if there was another family member in danger in the future, she would run like them without hesitation.

Carlisle asked her copper-haired daughter as she ran.

"Edyth, where are we going?"

Edyth spoke as she ran.

"I heard they were chasing Derek into te mountains. But I can't hear their thoughts right now. They're too far away for that..."

Carlisle changed course at what she had said and started running towards the mountains. And the rest of the family gracefully followed her.

None of them broke the order, the female vampires were running in a certain order. It was clear that they were trained and experienced.

As they approached the mountains, Carlisle smelled scent first. Then the other Cullens smelled up the unique scent.

Blood smell...

For a moment all the vampires felt hungry and thirsty. But the training they received helped them calm down and each managed to control their thirst.

Noticing that Hazel's movements were faltering, Alice sped up to her girlfriend and grabbed her hand as she ran.

The last person among them to turn into a vampire was a platinum-haired beauty. So she had to make an extra effort to restrain herself.

Fortunately, the blood they smelled belonged to the wolves. Drinking blood belonging to their enemies was the only type of blood vampires didn't want to drink. Because vampires literally got sick when they drank werewolf blood...

When the road ended and they reached their destination, what greeted the Cullen women was a gigantic black wolf.

It was Edyth's voice that satisfied the Cullen vampires' curiosity. The copper-haired woman recognized him because she had seen him in the vision.

"That's Derek Swan..." she said.

The remaining members of the Cullen family could not react for a moment in surprise. There were dozens of wounds on the beast's body. He staggered forward when he saw them.

The moment the black wolf saw the Cullens, his reaction made all the vampires nervous.

The wolf snarled, his entire body contracting, and howled at the vampires.

Carlisle and the others wanted to slowly approach the young man in wolf form. Unfortunately, the young man could not recognize them.

There was no human glint in Derek's eyes. On the contrary, dark blue irises were dominated by the wild gaze of a wounded animal.

Just as the Cullen vampires thought the beast would attack, the giant wolf lost consciousness and slowly began to shrink.

Due to the loss of blood and suffering, Derek was transforming from his wolf form to his human form.

It was Alice's graceful arms that prevented the man, who had changed from a giant wolf to a naked youth, from falling to the ground.

The short-haired vampire took care of the young man's wounds, embraced him tenderly and spoke like a girl reproaching her lover.
