a day later

"Are we there yet?"

"How much longer…"

"I need to pee."

Angel who sat behind the rear of the bus cast a glance to the side with his grumpy look as Maeda drove his apocalyptic vehicle.

*"Distorted mumbling"*…

"What are you mumbling about Senpai?" Usumi sat beside him as she looked at him as she tended to read about her survival guidebook from Sakane.

"Nothing….absolutely nothing…"

Usumi cast a glance at her window and peeked at Sakane and Maeda, feeling a bit conflicted, but let her mind back on the book.

**After driving and reaching a bridge, it was a quiet dreary silent, the cars were empty but there were rotten corpses that had started to decay. Sakane, Maeda, Angel, and Usumi all left the transport and the kids in the bus all remained in their seats. Rumiko wanted to follow after her sister, but Levin assured, her that her sister didn't want to cause some scene where she needed to focus on protecting her in a life-threatening scenario, he reassured her it was only a quick scout to move to the other side of the large mess with the cars in the way.

"Sakane, is the system still not functioning?" Maeda asked worried. her eyes slightly tense and 

her voice with distress if the system couldn't aid them in an important event that may risk their plan.

"Don't worry about it…~" Sakane brushed it off, but she too couldn't help but think now that Jin is gone, her system has malfunctioned and is on reprogramming and it doesn't seem she can use a lot of the previous function she had.

"Again, I don't understand how he is that important for something for you girls to be bothered by, use your fucking own strength to figure it out, don't let his Jesus powers to like open every single path for you," nonchalantly Angel said and he got big starry eyes from Sakane and Usumi.

"Wow, someone became socrates for a second~"

"...Shut up…"

The group decided to creep and walk so as not to cause any cars to break loose. As they wandered and wavered throughout the cars and saw the mutilated corpses and lifeless bodies, they gulped and silently walked halfway to the bridge and silently continued marching onwards.

"This remind me of Walking dead you know…except…its real…"

"Hey Tangerine hair, shut up."

"Thats mean Angel-Senpai."

Maeda cast a small glance at the two bickerings and could immediately tell, that Usumi was in love with Angel. How she looks at him reminds her of the ones in K-dramas, so she picks up the habit of sensing if someone has a crush, but she fails in her own love story.

As the group continued further, they saw a man run towards them. Was it an infected? was it a person in need of help? 

"Get ready, everyone…" Sakane whispered, the others nodded.

carefully, Sakane got a hold of her Black Horton, lined up, and was ready to strike down, but she was dropping a sweat. what if it was a human…no…maybe if is an Infected…

*Bang…*

In the bus, they could hear a gunfire and Rumiko got agitated and stupidly worried. "I'm going to check them out…" She said. sweating from her forehead and nervously shaken. She couldn't just sit here and do nothing.

"Don't be stupid, Rumi. Thank god this is a doubledecker bus…" Levin walked past the other students as they quickly made way for him. He moved to the top and grabbed his phone out. He zoomed in with his camera and what shocked him the most was that it looked like some police group was threatening their Senpai's.

Sakane and the rest faced a group of policemen, they wore the police uniform and had weapons out. One of them who seemed like the captain got up from the police car and looked at them cautiously. "Who are you, young fellas?"

Sakane was about to answer until Maeda stopped her. "Hey? What gives?"

Maede held quiet. and took out her book.

"They are not policemen…my father is close to the police and all personnel from the police and theyalways greet people with honorifics….its a ^Keigo^ way of the Police to speak…And as they didn't use any…I think they killed the police force when hell broke out and these crimminals are now let loose…"

Sakane, Angel, and Usumi all widened their eyes at Maeda's revelation. Usumi was about to speak but she stuttered at her words. "B-but how do-"

Until Angel interrupted. "I thought they looked familiar…they are the seniors at the juvenile shared prison with when I was caught and released a year later. Hishikawa Tatsumi…"

"Look, guys. it's our junior Angel. And, he is surrounded by 3 cute girls." The tone of what he said caused an angry emotion coming out from the 3 girls, they felt disgusted by this group.

"Hey, if you come with us, we can protect you, more so of a small compensation." Hishikawa licked his lips and the girls immediately knew what he was talking about. Since there were no real laws that mattered anymore, they could do so without getting caught.

who will catch them now…?

"Senpai, you wouldn't really…-"

"Tangerine hair, shut the fuck up." Usumi felt a hit from the way Angel spoke. Her head tilted low and didn't look at him anymore.

"Why would say something like that to Usumi?!" Maeda couldn't really hold her lips anymore and got angry about why he kept insulting Usumi.

"Its…Its…Alright Maeda-chan…see?~" Usumi used both her index fingers and formed a smile, her acting ability came in handy as it was difficult to see if she was down or not, but Maeda if she was in Usumi's shoes, she would be mad, sad, and a hint of wanting to distance herself a bit.

"..." Maeda got angry at Angel on Usumi's behalf, but it's not like what she said would be ignored either. He wouldn't just betray them now, would he?

The group all lowered the guns and started approaching and Sakane who wanted to punch Angel's face got her black horton out and lined up.

Maeda begins to chant a spell, which she immediately sends a fireball on their way.

The group all jumped away at the last moment it made an impact burning a few.

Usumi saw people burn to a crisp and felt sick. This was still a feeling she couldn't just get used to, She almost puked and looked unwell.

Angel stepped back since he was afraid of the angered Maede. who still kept her eyes on him.

At the other side of the bridge, Hishikawa and his group all begin to fire bullets and Maeda immediately sets up a barrier and they all scatter away and hide behind the broken-down, Cars.

Usumi who already were unwell couldn't handle it. and she covered her ears and closed her eyes shut. She was on the verge of tears, and Angel who hid beside her, just looked away and didn't bother to comfort her.

Sakane and Maeda could not advance or do anything with the heavy firearms still going and had to wait for their guns to eventually run out.

until they all could hear a loud thump and cars moving behind them.
