When Will We Marry Then?

"Wh-what is the meaning of this?" I spat with indignation. I took a cautious step back as my heart burst from the alarm bells that rang around me. He just raised a brow as if he was ridiculing my outburst.

The cold wind of the night assaulted my sweaty skin once his warmth was gone. I was left immobile. I somehow wanted to dive back into his arms, he was ominously beautiful.

But I couldn't take how trivial he made me seem, but all I could do was grit my teeth in retaliation, "…After how you people ruined my life, now you want to stalk me. What is next? You will chase me to be slaughtered once again?" I huffed after straining all my energy just to curse him out.

He stood up leisurely, his jolly smile stripped off and in an instant, his stare turned callously stern. "With your level of intelligence, I can only guess what you have dragged yourself into." the corner of his mouth lifted up, "Oh, our little peeping friend has just left our side."
