prologue. life in the light or darknes

My name is Lilly and I have lived for about 6 millennia any way I'm getting ahead of myself.

let's start at the beginning when I'm in my first life as a human Girl and have no knowledge of everything to happen in the future.

Well my starting point is the village of twilight where I live as a 16 years old and my mom and dad spend peaceful days in their home while I go out and run errands for them.

On the day I was to turn 17 a group of Royal guards arrived or in my opinion invade.

And posted a notice that all the girls that are ages 15 to 18 are to be presented to the Royal family.

But little did I know that by doing this I would never see my parents again.

So I raced home to tell Mom and dad only to get home and see my whole room packed up and Mom came out and said that I no longer lived there and  dad came out a second later and said I had to leave the property now.

They acted like they didn't know me and when I pointed out that my their daughter they said that they no longer have a daughter since I'm 17 now.

I gathered up my things and left headed on my way to the palace where I would meet the Royal family.

Three hours later...

We arrived at the palace and we were herded to the throneroom to wait for the king and his wife to enter as we waited for them to enter we got to know each other.

And 20 mins later the announcement of the King and his wife had entered.

"Welcome young ladys" the King said

With his wife right be side him

"I expect you had a wonderful journey here now I just have a few things to say you are our servants if that's what you are chosen for if not then you'll be chosen for something else." He said when he was done talking his wife steps forward and she starts saying that she is happy with the turnout.

"I too wish to a few words also." She says.

"Good luck to you all May you find favor in your new lifes."she says

And as the King and his wife leave the thoneroom. A another Man takes their place to start talking.

"Who I am is of no importance to the likes of you girls now if you will please listen for your names you'll be directed to the left or right if you are asked to step left you Will be taken from here to the servant 's lodging and if you are asked to step right then you will be taken to a different part of the kingdom and await further instruction." The man said.

we're halfway through the names when I heard my name called to go right thinking its odd I do as directed and as I'm waiting for the rolecall to stop I hear a cammotion out side the room we all Wonder what is up.
