Elijah's Pov-
Anastasia smiled with a laugh boosting out of her. The sound was...beautiful, I never heard it before. I thought seeing her head tilted back before she straightened back up with a sigh escaping her lips.
It made a softness in my chest, as it squeezed from seeing her smile like that. From the moment I met Ava, I knew, that I would protect her and cherish every moment spent with her. And the feelings we shared for each other were worth it. But now that was script away from me, I thought at that point I would never love again, yeah I said once and I'll say it again.
I know now that Nico imprinted on her. That basted. And didn't tell me, but somehow I did which didn't make me angry at all. It made me feel warm inside that I hadn't felt, yeah I said again, but something unknownst to me was that I felt the urge to protect her from something good and bad.
As I watched her with a smile tugging at my lips, her eyes moved to mine again. From this gazing and looking at each other in surprise she hasn't jumped my bones, yet. Oh! Who am I kidding, I don't even know if she's been there, or that she's a virgin. And besides that, she has a boyfriend.
"Are you ready to go?." I asked like it was a question, she gave me a look of confusion on her face before her eyes widened like it was as if she had been hit in the head with something.
"Oh, yes!. Sorry, I didn't realize about that little talk that we had earlier." she played it off with a laugh. I chuckled at her, shaking my head and walked out of the room and into the hallway.
I heard her footsteps following me out of the door, trying to keep up as her legs were short. Which they were. I smiled to myself at the thought. Since I have long legs after all she is kinda finding it a bit challenging, should I say, to keep up with me.
Looking past my shoulder to get a glance at her from behind, her head was facing down at the ground. "Keep your head up, darling. Don't wanna bump into something, like a wall I presume." I gave another one of my smuggling smirks her way.
She scuffs at me before walking ahead. As I shouted, "Do you even know where you are going!". Shaking my head again as I walked on after her.
Until a familiar scream rang out making me sprint towards the stairs, and made my way down them. But what I saw made my eyes widen, and my feet froze from taking another step.
There were men everywhere!
When I had finally entered the kitchen and dining area. A sight that shocked me to my core when I glanced at a man who was holding on to Rosalie by her throat as she gasped for air and whimpered, clawing at him to let her go.
I looked around the room to try and spot blue eyes in the room, and when my mine locked hers. My whole world comes crashing down. My chest tightened. I curled my hands into a fist to try and hide my anger from rising, to keep Nico in as I felt him whimpering to just let him out.
The look in her eyes was purified and petrified mixed all in one. My eyes focus on something that made my stomach ache with hatred. Right there on her neck was a full-blown handprint. He had held her tight to draw a mark on her. He is the first to be a goner.
From the way his hand held her neck, she tried to escape his grip but only made him tighten the grip more. My jaw clenched. She made a coughing sound at his grip, as she gasped for air.
I didn't move a single muscle. They must have grabbed her when I wasn't looking. I thought looking around again as some men had guns, and one man had a bat. Classic bastard, like that, will protect him from what I'm about to do?
"Hello, Elijah. Sorry to drop in on such short notice." A voice from my right spoke up, as he was seated on our couch.
How the fuck does he know who I am?
I thought in my mind as I gave him a confused brow.
The man that supposedly knows me stood up from the spot on the couch to approach me, with the not stupidest grin on his face that I have ever seen.
"Who are you and why are you in my-" Rosalie glared at me before I recorrected myself, "Our house!".
"Oh, you mean Anastasia hasn't told you?". He turned his head towards her and I glanced at her looking even more confused than before.
She gave me a sympathetic look and my gut swished in my stomach. "Who is he, Anastasia," I whispered out to her moving my eyes, looking down towards the floor.
I felt her lips move, trying to form a sentence but she closed it as a tear rolled down her cheek. Only made my stomach even worse than it already was.
"I'm her father, and I am to take her home. Unless you were planning on kidnapping her letting her stay here?"
it's this comment that made my inner Wolf pop out as I scowled at him feeling my back rauch up and I grunted in pain before calling onto the floor.
Until I heard her sweet voice shouting out my name, "Elijah, No!".
Looking up at her with my golden yellowish eyes, she had tears running down her cheeks as I felt Nico crawling back inside of me. "It's okay," she mouthed as we stared at one other.
The pain decreased, as our eyes still were locked on each other, and I was left on the ground, with sweat running down my forehead and watching as the man claiming to be her father dragged her away.
She was thrusting around and kicking at them to let her go while she screamed. My vision blurred as I passed out from an item hitting me on the back of the head and my body went limp into a deep unconscious state.
