Upon realizing that the giant beast isn't a threat, the captain and the rest of the crew had finally let out a sigh of relief.
However, the problem now is that the beast is following us-no, me specifically because it is asking for my help.
So now, while I am busy trying to remove the clams off the beast, it is somewhat following the ship.
Surprisingly, the giant Stingray is quite smart and would respond to where I point my hand to. When I pointed to the ship earlier, it started following it without trying to submerge.
"May I ask permission to use my magic armor?"
[Permission granted, but why?]
"The sun is too hot. It hurts my skin."
[Ah, right.]
Since only Linalyn is capable of walking on water in the team, only her and I are removing the clams on the Stingray's back.
"Would it not be wiser to remove the clams with magic?"
[I knew you'd ask that.]
Probably because the stingray's body is too large, Linalyn got demoralized on the manual labor we are doing.
