Xiu Mei understood that she cannot delay the topic and answered.

"Fine! I will tell you… But give me my wrist band first, otherwise, how will I explain." She alternated her gaze between the two men.

Feng Jianyu looked at Wang Shi who walked to the side drawer and pulled out a plastic packet.

"These are the accessories you were wearing. Your clothes are not in this packet, because the nurses cut off them to check for any unseen injury." Handing over the packet to Xiu Mei he said.

"Ok… Thank you", She replied as she tears off the packet and takes out her wrist band.

Holding the wrist band in her hand, she started explaining, "This is the latest product of Phoenix Enterprises about to launch in the next two weeks. It is specially made to stop the bleeding in case of an emergency like yesterday."

She twisted the band to show them the inner side, "The glass vial is filled with sterilized liquid and nothing else. And the small thing inside it is a mini robot attached to a tiny needle for easy access to the wound."

Then she pulled out the product from its vial and gave it to Wang Shi, "The mini robot finds the source of bleeding and clamps the arteries. There are no side effects, as the entire product is made up of minerals that get absorbed by the body within 3 hours."

Wang Shi Bring the product close to his face and started studying it from top to bottom. He then gave it to Feng Jianyu.

Feng Jianyu also inspected, and the working of the product really impressed him.

Both the brothers stared at the product like it's from another planet. However Feng Jianyu didn't let any emotions come to his face, but Wang Shi was awestruck, his eyes shone like 1000 stars.

After speaking so much Xiu Mei felt parched, she picked up a glass of water to drink. She asked with raised brows, "Anything else that you guys want to know?"

"I want to." Wang Shi exclaimed. "This product is superb. It can save so many lives in the future. Which genius's idea was this? Who made it possible? Is it you?"

'Pftt….ttt… cough cough….cough…. Xiu Mei choked on the water and started coughing profusely. Wang Shi got up to help her, but before that Feng Jianyu immediately rushed to her, his hand took the glass of water and patted her back softly.

She calmed down after a few seconds and Feng Jianyu gave her the glass of water, "This time drink slowly, Ok?" He was still patting and rubbing her back gently.

She nodded and took the glass. Suddenly she realized that Feng Jianyu's hand was still on her back, once more she removed it discreetly saying, "I am fine... Thank you".

 He did not feel offended by her action, understanding she might have felt uncomfortable. He went back to his seat.

Dr. Wang Shi teased her, "Is my question that difficult that you gave me such an outrageous reaction?"

"No No… Dr. Wang Shi… it's… It's just a coincidence that I choked when you asked me the question." She answered hesitatingly but did not dare to make eye contact.

"What was the question? Yaa… Is it my invention? NO NO, not at all… How can I? I am just a software expert!", Xiu Mei stammered.

Sitting on the sofa, Feng Jianyu looked at her intricately. He read her body language, facial expression and especially her eyes. Looking at how she stammered, avoided eye contact and continuously fidgeted with her fingers, she is definitely lying.

'If this product is not her invention, then how come she knows every detail? Just a moment before she explained like an expert. Why she is hiding her talents?', Feng Jianyu frowned.

Wang Shi was not born yesterday. Looking at Xiu Mei's uncomfortable reaction his thoughts matched with Jianyu's. But he wants to give one last try, "Then do you know who invented this?"

Xiu Mei felt like crying out loud, 'Why is he asking the question that I don't want to answer? I thought this Dr. Wang Shi is a gentleman, but he is such a busybody'. 

"Dr. Wang Shi! I can only answer product related questions, and for other queries, contact Phoenix Enterprises." Xiu Mei gave a business-like response.

Wang Shi felt disappointed, 'She is really smart… she dodged my question perfectly'. He meekly nodded, "I will…"

"If this is yet to launch, then how come you have it in your possession?" Feng Jianyu attacked her with his question.

She felt exhausted because of their continuous questions and huffed audibly, "CEO Feng I know you have already got me investigated. So you must be aware that I work for Phoenix Enterprises. Mr. X gave me this as a token of appreciation for my work."

She has no intention to disclose anything about her company or about herself. This product is designed and developed by her solely, but it will be released in the market under the name of Phoenix Enterprises.

Feng Jianyu "..."

He understood she won't answer any more questions on this topic, so it's better to drop it.

"All right! Then let's come to the second Discu….."

"Ouch….aaaa..…uuu…. my head hurts so badly…. I want to take some rest…. Dr. Wang Shi can I rest for a while?" Xiu Mei started acting before Feng Jianyu could complete his sentence.

Wang Shi was in a dilemma, he understood she's acting, but he cannot say no to his patient when they want to rest. He looked at Feng Jianyu, "Let her rest for a while… don't stress her too much".

Feng Jianyu knew she is acting but still his heart wavered looking at her pitiful face. Especially when he saw the white bandage on her forehead, he felt as if all this was his fault. If he had been more careful, he could have avoided it.

 "All right! Let's take some rest first."

'Thank God! Otherwise, he would have interrogated me to death!' Xiu Mei immediately plunged into the blanket. "Thank you! Good night to both!"

Wang Shi smiled at her cuteness, 'She is a pure heart! No doubt my brother is falling for her.'

However, Feng Jianyu had some other plans. He walked to Xiu Mei's side and leaned closer to her face.

Xiu Mei felt something shadowing her and stealthily open her right eye to peek.

Her breath hitched, eyes widened in shock upon finding him so close. Twisting her body to the left side of the bed, she looked at him in horror.

At this distance, Xiu Mei could see every detail of his face. He has the face that could make you turn your heads to look once more. His eyes were mesmerizingly deep and dark, framed by graceful brows. His soft lips were attractive. His face is perfectly symmetrical, well-defined chin and nose, sharp jaw as if molded by God himself. Although he was slightly pale because of the injury, it cannot obstruct his attractive looks.

Xiu Mei admits he looks devilishly handsome.

'Damn! It should be illegal to have such good looks', She gulped a mouthful of saliva.

She smells his natural fragrance, hears his manly breathing and feels his alluring aura. To prevent him from seeing her red cheeks, she immediately pulled the blanket up to her nose.

"C.. C.. CEO Feng? You want something?", Her voice came muffled.

"Hm! You!"

"WHAT?" She looked at him shockingly.

Feng Jianyu leaned closer and put his right hand on the left side of Xiu Mei's head, trapping her between his hands.
