4. Adrinette & Ladynoir

After the episode has finished, everyone started chattering very loudly about what was just shown to them. Adrien and Marinette however stayed silent and looked at each other back and forth and blush.

"QUIET!!" Angel shouted, quickly silencing everybody in the theater. "We'll get to the Q in a short while. But first, I think that our two just-revealed superheroes need to talk alone first. Marinette, you and Adrien can use your parents' bedroom but no messing around. I'm sure Marinette's parents can agree with me on that one!" Angel suggested and most of the teens snickered at the implication of "messing around" while Adrien and Marinette blushed even harder at that.

The two teens then slowly made their way outside those doors and into the bedroom set up for Marinette's parents. "What they don't know is that we're gonna be spying on their private conversation," Angel announced and most of the audience were excitedly intrigued as she shows the bedroom on the screen just as the two teens entered. The two teens then sat on the bed close to each other but not close enough to touch.

"So, you're Ladybug this entire time?" Adrien nervously started the conversation and Marinette slowly nodded. "I suspected you during Kwamibuster, but then I saw you and Ladybug at the same time together. How did you do that by the way?"

"I-I used the Fox Miraculous to create an illusion," Marinette softly explained.

"Oh, I see," Adrien said. "Well, it's still a shock."

"Can you imagine how I felt when I found out you're Cat Noir? I mean, you two look the same, yet you're also different from each other. But now imagining your home life, I can see why you'd act so different when you're Cat Noir," Marinette said after letting out a small chuckle.

"Well, where do we stand?" Adrien reluctantly asked this question.

"What do you mean?" Marinette asked confused.

"Well, you know I'm in love with you, right? Or will that wreck things between you and Luka?" Adrien asked curiously. Meanwhile in the theater room, upon hearing his name, Luka looked at the screen with interest and confusion.

"Wreck things between me and Luka? What are you talking about?" Marinette asked even more confused.

"Well remember after the Glaciator incident, you turned me down because you were in love with another boy? You meant Luka, right?" Adrien asked.

"Not exactly, no. I haven't even met Luka at that point. I mean, Luka is in love with me and I'm not gonna lie to you, I've been somewhat attracted to him. But, the boy I'm in love with this whole time was…you. As in Adrien you. Talk about irony, right?" Marinette quietly said while looking down. Back in the theater room, Luka blushed when some eyes are on him.

"You've been in love with me this entire time?" Adrien asked quietly in shock.

"Of course I did, you stupid cat! Have you picked up nothing from the scene we just watched? You've had my heart ever since you gave me your umbrella. I've always wanted to tell you but my heart stops every time I'm around you that I couldn't get my words out. And whenever I have the courage to do so, something goes horribly wrong," Marinette explained. Back in the theater room, some of the girls gasped as this was a big moment for their friend.

"Oh, that explains a lot. So, you're in love with me and I'm in love with you," Adrien summarized then smiled at her.

"No offense, Adrien, but I'm not convinced that you are. I mean, I know you're in love with Ladybug but you've never had any feelings for me as Marinette," Marinette said sadly.

"None taken. I know it seems that way, but it's not totally true," Adrien said softly.

"What do you mean?" Marinette asked confused.

"To be honest, I guess that deep down, I've always had feelings for you as Marinette. I don't know how to explain it, but I've always felt drawn to you. I think I keep calling you "just a friend" to remind myself that Ladybug is the only love in my life even when it's not completely true. I'm always happy when you're around. Not that I value my other friendships any less, but I feel like your friendship is the only one I couldn't live without. You mean so much to me, Marinette. I mean, I got Lila to get you back in school with me and the rest of our friends after she got you expelled!" Adrien confessed then put his hand on his mouth after revealing a huge secret. Back in the theater room, everyone turned around to face Lila who looked nervous.

"Yes! It's true! Adrien threatened to end his friendship with me if I didn't admit to my lying disease and get Marinette back in school!" Lila said with fake tears hoping it'd get some people angry at Adrien. Some people frowned but quickly brushed it off since he did it for Marinette's sake much to Lila's secret chagrin. They then turn their attention to the lovestruck couple.

"So, do you believe me now?" Adrien asked and Marinette nodded with a small blushing smile. He then leaned slowly, ready to kiss but…

"Wait, Adrien!" Marinette said while gently stopping him. "You have no idea how long I've waited for this moment and I'm sure there are other people who support it, but…"

"But what?" Adrien asked softly with a confused but not angry look on his face.

"There are people out there who might be hurt or not approve of us," Marinette started explaining. "First of all, there's Luka. He knows I'm in love with you and he says it's okay with him, but I feel like I hurt him in a way. I don't wanna hurt him further by flaunting our love." Back in the theater room, Luka looked at the screen with loving eyes. Even when she is in love with someone else, she still cares a great deal about me! I know I'd rather that she be mine, but being her friend is better than being her nothing. Luka then thought in his head.

"And then there's Kagami. You know as well as I do that she has feelings for you. At first, I disliked her for it. But, now we're starting to get along and become really great friends. I don't wanna ruin that," Marinette continued. Kagami just stared into the screen in shock. I knew Marinette had feelings for Adrien like I did, but it's much deeper than I thought. I can't believe that she's about to reject the love of her life for the sake of our newly-formed friendship. Kagami said in her head and is still deep in thought as Marinette and Adrien's conversation continues.

"And last but not least, there's Chloe. I know Chloe and I dislike each other and I probably shouldn't care about her at all, but I do very much, which is another reason I didn't give her back the Bee Miraculous. I care about her and her family's safety from the dangers of Hawk Moth. Anyway, under her spoiled brat attitude, there's a fragile heart. You have been one of her true friends for years, and I hate for it to be ruined because of me," Marinette concludes. Chloe saw this with confusion and shock. I can't believe this! Even when Dupain-Cheng and I dislike each other, she still cares about me! I guess she really is Ladybug. I have to think about this!

"So, what are you saying?" Adrien asked curiously.

"I'm saying that maybe we should wait. You know, until things are okay with all of our friends. Are you mad at me?" Marinette asked since Adrien has been staring at her as if she's from a distance.

"No. You just reminded me why I fell in love with you. For you, I'd wait a million years," Adrien said with tears in his eyes and hugged Marinette who hugged him back. Everyone back in the theater room (except for Lila of course who's resisting the urge to throw up) looked lovingly at the beautiful scene in front of them with tears in their eyes. Adrien and Marinette then looked at each other in the eyes.

"Do you think maybe we could…? You know? For the road?" Adrien asked. After a moment of hesitation, Marinette smiled.

"Just for the road," Marinette said in agreement. The two then slowly leaned in towards each other and their lips softly touch in a passionate kiss.

"Cue soft windy breeze," Angel quietly said to herself and snapped her fingers. Then all of a sudden, there was a breeze in the bedroom hoping to make the scene more romantic for the audience. The breeze then blew away Marinette's already loose hair ties, letting down her blue hair. The audience (except for Lila of course and Chloe though she's not against it) cheered loudly at the kiss. Startled by the noise, Adrien and Marinette quickly broke apart.

"I wonder what they're cheering about. What?" Marinette asked when Adrien stared at her, unaware about her hair.

"Your hair is down," Adrien explained and Marinette touched her hair in surprise. "I didn't think you could be more beautiful than you already are. And yet, that works for you." Back in the theater room, the boys agreed with Adrien as they look lustfully at Marinette's loose hair while Lila looked with hidden extreme jealousy. The two teens then headed out the bedroom and back in the theater room where they were greeted by the audience who had smiles and grins on their faces, except for Lila who had a hidden look of fury and Chloe who looked a bit sad. Looking at the screen, that's when Marinette and Adrien suddenly realize…

"Wait! Our private conversation was recorded?!" Marinette asked loudly while she and Adrien have shocked looks on their faces while the audience's reactions are still the same. "Including…?

"That's right, girl. And Adrien's right. You do look prettier with your hair down," Alya said with a smirk and most of the audience agreed.

"Sorry, you two," Angel said, not sorry at all. "You two better come up front with me, so we can discuss this." The two teenage superheroes then slowly and nervously came up front. "So, does anyone wanna say anything to them?" Angel asked.

"I do," Luka started after raising his hand. As he stood up, he began. "Marinette, I've always had feelings for you. That is true. But you told me a long time ago that Adrien is the one for you. I really appreciate that you care a great deal about me that you're unwilling to be with him, but I'll be okay, I promise. Hey, I'm still young. I'll find someone else. I like having you as a friend than not having you in my life at all. So, go be with Adrien if he really makes you happy, you sweet melody." Luka finished his speech with a smile and Marinette smiled back with a blush.

"Who's next?" Angel asked the audience then Kagami raised her hand and stood up.

"Adrien, what Marinette said is true. I did have romantic feelings for you ever since we met. But that is only because I thought you'd be perfect given our similar personal backgrounds. I've always had a feeling you were in love with someone else and now I know why you couldn't tell me without revealing your secret. But given this new information, I can see now that Marinette is more compatible for you than I'll ever be, so I relinquish my pursuit for you. And Marinette, even though it'll take me some time to get over my feelings for Adrien, I'd still like to have you as a friend because of your honorable selflessness and will to put your friends above your desires. So, I wish the two of you luck," Kagami said with a sad look and then gave them a small smile to show that she's genuine.

"OK, my turn! Listen, Marinette Dupain-Cheng!" Chloe began her speech. "Normally, I would disapprove of being with my Adrikins! But since you're Ladybug and he's that utterly silly Cat Noir, I can see now that you two are a perfect match and you do make him happy. Plus, you saved my life countless times and even gave me chances to be a superhero. So, I guess I owe you this. And Adrikins is too valuable to have him out of my life. So, I'm gonna let this thing between you two happen," Chloe said of her approval and everyone stared at her like she was replaced by a nicer clone. "But that doesn't mean we're close friends or anything!"

"I wouldn't expect anything more from you, Chloe," Marinette said. "Your approval is enough for me." Marinette gave her a smile and Chloe gave a reluctant but genuine smile back. The audience looked at the two girls like it's the apocalypse much to Adrien's amusement.

"Well, I guess everyone is okay with us being together, m'lady. Wanna seal the deal with a kiss?" Adrien asked as he smirked causing Marinette to giggle and nod.

"Kiss her again already, Romeo!" Kim shouted. Marinette and Adrien then gave in with another passionate kiss while everyone (except for Lila of course) cheered and applauded.

Meanwhile, Lila was boiling with rage inside. Not only are those two goody two-shoes Paris' beloved superheroes, but they're in love with each other that even Chloe Bourgeois approves?! Ugh! I should've protested, but I told Nino I wasn't into Adrien. If I said something, it'd be suspicious. I got lucky that they know Marinette is Ladybug and didn't suspect a thing. The idiots! But I know someone that will help me out with one phone call: Gabriel Agreste! She then thought with an evil smirk in which Angel noticed as well as read her mind.

We'll see about that, Lila! Angel said in her head. "OK, let's get on to the Q with me and our two heroes here!"
